   The food was delicious! We had the trout, chicken sandwich, and a chocolate dessert. The drinks are also delicious! The one thing I wish had been different was the plating of the trout. Everything was piled upon each other and was the same shade of brown/grey sitting on top of baby food green purée. The appearance of the dish could use work, but is still very tasty!! We had nice, attentive wait staff and food didn’t take long to come from kitchen. The decor was awesome, music wasn’t bad, and everyone seemed happy to be there. Overall, it was a good experience and I’d come back again. Thanks for having us.

   Diablo and Sons is growing on me. The craft cocktails are thoughtful and well balanced. The tres leches and flan desserts were outstanding! My salmon was cooked perfectly over a nice bed of rice with plenty of tasty coconut broth with a hint of heat. The owner Dave Crick does a great job with all his restaurants - Well done guys!

   Thr best steak I've had at a restaurant ever. Cooked perfectly and just melted in my mouth. My husband's salmon was to die for.

    This is one of my favorite spots in Boise. The ambience and decor is a lot of fun. I find new things to admire in the design each time I go. Apps and Tacos to share family style is the way to go.

    Fun atmosphere no complaints… … brunch menu was good. I had basic eggs sausage and potatoes, it wasn’t very warm which was disappointing. Eggs were done perfectly though and they have little mini gluten free bites that are amazing! Also ordered the beignets, some not fully cooked but good flavor. I’ll go again.

    I sat at the bar and was greeted promptly and given my menu. I had a cocktail and ordered the Tomahawk Pork Chop. The pork chop was cooked perfectly but had at least 25% fat I had to trim off. This may be normal but I like meat. As I’m not a complainer, I enjoyed what I had and would go back but not have the pork chop.

    Such a cool, delicious place to eat and hang out. Drink options were superb and food was chosen perfectly. Felt like a speakeasy. Plan on visiting again soon to try something else

    Love eating here. We mainly go for their great brunch! It’s a weekly favorite and would highly recommend to anyone. Wish they have a couple more interesting vegan options but I make it work. Always a fav place!

    Excellent food! Portion sizes are great! Flavor and pairing were fun and interesting. The organic black coffee was tasty. And service was very good. The kids loved the fancy chairs. Fun atmosphere.

    Every time I eat here it is fantastic! The tacos are all amazing, and the waygu cowboy steak is one of my favorite meals ever. The spicy margarita is one of the best margaritas in Boise. If you are looking for an appetizer, the brusslesprouts and the five point fries are delicious.

    Our waitperson was amazing. So kind, friendly and prompt. Drinks were amazing. Food was excellent. The only part I didn’t like was being sat in the converted outdoor setting to indoor setting area. It was just patio area inside a tent with windows. It did have over head heat which was great for upper body but my leg and feet were freezing.

    My family and I had a fantastic time at Diablo & Sons. We went on a Thursday evening, so the noise level wasn't too bad. Great food and drinks. We ended up sharing most of the food between us because we were loving each other's dishes! We will definitely be back!

    We ate here when the restaurant first opened and were impressed. Now the food is ok, nothing special. I like the venue and the service was great. The finger steaks were greasy and had a thick coating of batter. The french fries were terrific. We also had the tacos which were good but not over the top. Drinks from the bar were very good. I'd go again but try something different from the menu.

    We had a party of 6. When I called, was told we would be inside at a high table. When we got there we were seated on the patio. The food was mediocre and overpriced. Service was okay. Wouldn’t bring out of town guests there again.

    We came for my birthday last night and we’re so bummed! We had a reservation made a week in advance. We got seated right away but literally waited an hour for our first drink to arrive. We also ordered an appetizer and that was delicious but then chose to leave to go somewhere else for dinner.

    We were celebrating a double birthday. One of our guests ordered the finger steaks and they were still frozen when served we alerted the server they replaced them with another order and the second plate was also frozen. We were not checked on again and our guest didn’t get to eat we were still charged for the full meal. I’m not impressed with the service or the food we received.

    We were looking for a downtown brunch spot and found this spot. They had a nice selection of breakfast dishes. I got the Hangtown Fry & my spouse had the breakfast burrito with chorizo. Both were large portions (we could’ve easily split one). Service was also solid, but, like most restaurants these days, was strained, so we had to wait a little while.

    The best part about the dinner was the wine. My date and I were unsure of where to check in for the reservation, since nobody was at the check-in stand. The hostess was clearly annoyed when we went to go look for a check-in spot inside. The food was dry and wasn't particularly good. I might try a different dish if I were to go again.

    The oyster stack was a perfect appetizer. The tacos were flavorful and delicious, and the drunken black beans just the right side dish to round everything out. Our server was attentive but not hovering - overall, a wonderful night out!
