Went for an anniversary dinner with my partner and from the start we got a bad vibe. Host seemed exhausted/just not very welcoming when we got there. I had placed a reservation and in the reservation noted it was our anniversary - not a peep from any of the staff regarding the special occasion. Our waiter seemed very business like- just gave us our things and went, no small talk whatsoever. Food was meh - I had the potato tacos and honestly walked away thinking I could have had better potato tacos at Taco Bell for way cheaper. Drunken beans might be fine for others but for me it tasted too much like chili beans. Partner had the El pastor tacos - also just sort of subpar. We also had drinks - I got the orange cream soda since I was driving and partner got some Moscow mule house drink - both were good. Also can I just say - awning outside mentions tamales and not a single tamale is on the menu. I know I'm knitpicking now but I just want a nice tamale. Waiter didn't so much as ask if we wanted anything else after dinner like dessert - brought us check and that was it. Again, very transactional. Irritated me especially cause again, no word about the anniversary so when he left with our plates and took a while I thought "oh maybe they're doing a small free dessert or something" - nope, here's the check, get out. Meanwhile a 6 person party was seated next to us partway through dinner - they had their waters already placed before they got there (we had to wait for ours when we arrived) and waiter was talking them up the entire time, asking how they were, where they were from, etc etc. Left dinner feeling as if our experience was simply due to the fact that we're a same sex couple - but a number of reviews also mention just poor service so maybe we were reading into it. Walked away hungry and disappointed. Guess that's what we get for trying somewhere new on a special occassion. Either way, not going back any time soon.

Good and drinks were great. Had a later reservation in the night. Hostess said we had to sit inside or wait twenty minutes to be sat at an outside table. During our meal plenty of people just walked to a table outside and got drinks and food faster than we did. So not sure why we were made to sit inside. Right when we sat down our server asked what we wanted to drink and then asked if we were ready to order. We like to have a cocktail and hang out before we order. Once we said no we are still looking she seemed irritated that we weren’t in a rush like she was. Then we get our drinks pretty fast and she asks us again if we are ready. Still not. We then get another round and our appetizer. As we are finished with that we then see the manager and both bartenders taking shots of alcohol with customers. We then proceed to wait another twenty minutes for our order to be taken. All while our server was just standing in the hallway for a good ten minutes just talking to another server. I asked the girl cleaning tables to get our server and she said she would just take our order instead. She was incredibly nice and felt bad for what we were experiencing. Then less than ten minutes later we get our food. Food at this place is always great and same with the drinks. Just don’t understand why every time the service is terrible. And was really off putting to see the manager taking shots during service.

A lot of food was advertised as gluten free but was not actually gf. Since we have a celiac kiddo, or dinner was kind of disappointing since she wasn't able to get the things she wanted. I wish that had been advertised on the website so that we could've been prepared for the many better. Carne Asada tacos were absolutely banging.

Good experience and good food. Could be less salty but doable. Drinks were great. Only bummer was we wanted to sit outside but there were tons of flies so that grossed us out. Otherwise a good experience.

The menu choice for the tacos was a little confusing. Waitress said people are always confused that you can’t choose one of each from the list for the trio of tacos. The restaurant inside was not busy but we had to ask for water refills.

We ordered the onions rings, fish tacos and pozole verde. They were all so good! The pickled onions on the tacos were so good! The pozole tasted so good and authentic! The salsa was very good and didn’t taste like other salsas you get at the other places. Definitely will be going again!

Wife’s 40th. Went with our 3 boys. 3/5 ordered steak with three different temps—all dishes came cold & purple in middle. Wife asked for well, I said medium for myself and my son. We kept them as to not wait anymore for our food. Then, my wife pulled a very sturdy piece of hair from her steak salad—practically picked the salad off the plate. And we don’t drink so is it customary to be ignored more or less by waitstaff if you’re not ordering over priced cocktails? Anyways; will likely not go back.

Wait staff was super nice and accommodating. Food came so fast it was like we blinked 😂 concierge at the front however was pretty rude. When we showed up with our reservation I asked to be seated at a table, I’m a big gal and a chair is much more comfortable than a booth. I pointed out some cute pink chairs and asked if we could sit there. Concierge was kinda rude and said no they had “a 6 top coming”. Which was strange, because most of the tables with the chairs I pointed to were 2 tops. He then walked us to a booth 😂 again I asked for a table, he said we’d have to wait 40 minutes. I started pointing at the multitude of empty tables and chairs I saw and he finally buckled and said we could sit at a different kinda bar-like table. It wasn’t ideal but way better than a booth. We sat, had drink app and dinner. The whole time the initial tables I asked to be seated at were empty. They were empty when we left. Point- wait staff was so nice but the man who seated us was a major grump! Put somebody nice at the front 😂 food was great, trout was amazing, salsa was obviously house made spicy and roasted delicious. But if the bald guy is at the check in desk maybe go somewhere else 😂😂

The service from the host stand to the waitress was below average. I can’t say that they had bubbly personalities. They could work on being more anticipatory of customers needs and paying more attention to the orders and the bill. Our bill was incorrect 3 times and it was not a difficult split between couples. Two of our drink orders were also incorrect and it obvious by the glasses they were served in. The food was okay. Its not my first choice in restaurants but I would come back and recommend it but with much lower expectations. We have been here a few times before and generally their drinks are good. Service was just okay before. Good atmosphere.

D & S has gone downhill fast. Service has never been great but was downright terrible for Mothers Day. Server had no clue, bill was messed up and had to ask the server about an overcharge twice and then had to end up bringing the issue to the manager. Manager had no clue and referred to the menu which did not reflect the point he was trying to make. Fix your menu to reflect what you want to charge or charge what is on your menu! Both were very defensive and lacked any reasonable judgment when dealing with a frustrated customer. Food is slightly above average and eggs that were asked to be over medium with egg white not slimy were made with slimy egg whites!?!? They did correct it and took 20 minutes for the corrected plate that was cooked to a crisp! Been going here for years but that was the last time we will be going there.

Our first time trying out the brunch menu, there was 5 of us and everyone said the food was ok, nothing special 🤷‍♀️ I ordered a cocktail and couldn’t finish it, wasn’t very good. I’ve been here for dinner before and loved it, however we won’t be coming back for brunch.

It was our anniversary date; we were seated quickly at 5:30pm on a Saturday. Our server was good. We were asking questions about gluten information and then about drinks. I guess we had too many questions even though we were told it was ok to ask. The bartender came over and said she would answer our questions since the server was having to come back and forth. She told us she couldn't just make us a custom drink with rum, that she could make a mojito or stormy night. She asked if we had any other questions then darted off quickly. She definitely didn't have much hospitality in her demeanor. The whole interaction put a bad taste in our mouth. We just decided to not even get a mixed drink. Apparently the bartend can only make drinks from guide book. Probably should find a difference career.
