Yummy 🍾brunch on Saturday 👏👏👏Food is tasty, great service nice ambiance ❤️This place 👍👍
The service was atrocious. One mistake after another. Sat at a common table without happy hour menus. Waitress didn’t seem to know we were her table. Took 15 minutes to order drinks. Wrong food came out, and staff also tried giving us other people’s orders twice. To top it off, they rang another more expensive bill to my credit card. Thankfully since we were examining the check to split funds later I noticed in time!
Amazing happy hour... their food and margaritas are hard to beat
5 stars for food as well as service, love this spot.
Enjoyed the great food, drinks and service
The menu at Dia de Campo has changed just a little. They no longer have that gorgeous whole fish but they do have a great seafood sofrito rice dish that easily would feed 3 people.
The cocktails were good and the service was exceptional!
Fabulous dinner !
Date night! Three kids.. this was an ok experience. Been there before, much better.
It took me 30 minutes to be seated after going there on time for my reservation. Sorry you can’t recover from that in my book
Amazing food, and creative cocktails. I am never disappointed with the place. Must try the chorizo stuffed dates wrapped in bacon! So amazing.
Great Sunday brunch with the family. Great food and great margaritas. Recommend for the neighborhood.
The kitchen at this place is always really slow. Service is always iffy.
Overall so so. Service was inattentive. Food was average at best. Tables so close to each other private conversation was impossible
A good restaurant but pricey for what you get. Chips & guacamole were tasty but we had to wait so long for them to come out yet we were the only ones in the restaurant. They charge $6 for the salsa to come with it! :( Cocktails were tasty. Tacos are $4 for one small one with meat and (I think) pickled cabbage. My friend had shrimp & chorizo enchiladas & said they were good. Typical rice & beans on the side.I might give this place it another try during a more affordable happy hour.
Great margaritas, food and atmosphere! I will definitely be back!
I’ve eaten here for happy hour and the drinks/food and service have all been great. We decided to utilize DineLa for dinner and were terribly disappointed with the food and service. A complete waste of $49/person. My fajitas comprised of equal parts hanger steak to onions and all items were served very spicy (no other option given). The waitress required we order all courses together.
We love this place and visit a few times a year. However, this time the fish did not taste good, we had to send back our Ahi Tuna.
Once again, five stars. Took our European family there for an authentic Mexican meal, like one that you'd get at a Hipster restaurant in Mexico City. Ordered two items from the "Mis Amigos" portion of the menu, a couple of starters and had a ton left over for five people. All loved the food and the drinks (especially the Mezcal Margarita)! Huge hit with everyone. This is pretty much one of the only restaurants we always take family when they come visit us in LA.
Its usually a bit on the loud side, but this last time the ambiance was perfect. A must if you are in the South Bay.
Entertainment was terrible for NYE. Depressing tunes
We've been coming for dinner 3 or 4 times a year.......2015 - great - we loved every dinner - food and service. 2016 - was ok. 2017 has been a little disappointing. Not sure we'll come back again. Shame. We thought we'd found a local mexican restaurant with really good food, good vibe, the kind of place we could come to with friends....
Delicious Mexican food!! Everything about it was great. Only down side was the annoying American pop music playing. I don’t know if they were trying to attract a younger crowd. But as a 20 year old, it really turned me off. Authentic music or even Latin pop would have sufficed. Anyways, great experience still and will definitely be back!
The food is always delicious. The service is excellent. The decor is industrial and warm. The hanger steak at brunch is fantastic. Always a great atmosphere. Perfect place for brunch or a drink later in the evening. Guacamole and a margarita hit the spot.
Service and food were amazing. Great atmosphere!
Love this place!
Ordered grilled romaine salad with shrimp. Charge to add shrimp was 6.95 for TWO shrimp. The salad was SOAKING in salad dressing.
This was for the travelzoo brunch. It was very good
Always great service; attentive servers who work well as a team!
Love this place.
I was very excited to try this place after hearing about it from my boyfriend (he said the tacos were good) and seeing a brunch voucher for two on Travelzoo.
After being seated, the parties on either sides of our table were served with waters refilled and we still have not met our server. Finally, one of the waitresses poured us some water and told us that our server will be with us shortly with the champagne for our mimosas (included in voucher). What she brought was a flavored sparkling wine that did not mix very well with OJ, it also had a taste and you can tell that it was one of those that will give you a headache. It was not a real mimosa.
My girlfriend ordered the Dia Beni (which she enjoyed) as recommended by our server and I ordered my usual chilaquiles (it was awfully salty!). We informed her that I didn’t care for my food too much and she was more than happy to exchange it with something else. She comp’d the churros I ordered (nothing spectacular) and my friend ordered the tres leches (which she said was whatever).
Went for hubby’s birthday. We had a Travel Zoo voucher and were warmly greeted. The “Tots”are a must and the house aioli we delicious. For the bottomless mimosas, you get a full bottle of sparkling wine and a carafe of OJ so you can mix your own custom balance! We had the Dia Bene, burrito of the day and chicken and churros (their version of chicken and waffles.). All were superb. The restaurant can be loud at dinner but was very civilized at brunch. Service was lovely and we will definitely be back!!
I probably eat here 2-5 times a month. Amazing street tacos! The Sangria is the best I have ever had. Duck quesadilla is spectacular, try it even if you are not a duck fan! Great guac as well. Always great service.
Loved it! Food was delish, and we had a great birthday celebration. Excellent tacos and appetizers. We had a 8p res and they called about 10 minutes before that to say they were running late, which worked for us, but when we got there at 8:30 we still had to wait. The hostess was so nice though that it didn't matter that much to us. We were escorted to the bar and ordered delicious cocktails while we waited.
The Ahi was sensational, and it is a fun place to go. Great service. The interior is very cozy, just the rear side of the bar looks a bit bland.
I had been here a few times before and had a good experience. Not so much this time. Poor service. Food not great. May not go back.
Food was great. Drinks were average which was a bummer. Food this good deserves a great margarita or cocktail and they just weren't good. Four of us had different drinks and none of us were excited about them. Would definitely go back for the food and just stick with a beer to be safe.
Came for brunch with our 18 month old was very kid friendly and the staff couldn't have been better with our baby.
We go to Dia De Campo regularly. The food is really delicious (lamb braised taco machismo style is amazing) . We had some friends visiting from Sydney, Australia and they wanted Mexican food. They loved the food at Dia De Campo and raved about the Lamb Tacos, Chorizo Stuffed Dates, Guacamole, and the list goes on and on. Definitely recommend this place.
A new venue with great potential. Pleasant ambiance and an interesting menu. While the mixed cerviche was excellent, the prepared dishes, to our taste, had an unpleasant flavor. Perhaps we are too accustomed to the flavors of Mexico, and we were put off by a chef reaching for new frontiers of flavor.
Just average all the way around. Prices are too high for what you get. $13 Margarita is about 4 ounces.
