The only restaurant where I can find true Italian, non reddish, dishes and suggestions in line with the concepts of Italian cuisine.
Always excellent food & service.
The food was amazing. I love finding little hidden treasures like this place. We were looking for an Italian restaurant that wasn’t fussy and we didn’t have to change from shorts and t shirts to eat. This place was a total surprise. The food was great and the service was perfect.
Very good food!! Our waiter was awesome!! Definitely a must if you’re in the area. It is owned and ran by a father and daughter. Everything is made from scratch. We met the daughter and you can tell our food was made from love.
This was the second time I have dined at Di Valle’s in a month and on both occasions absolutely loved my food. Everything is beautifully prepared, served and most importantly delicious.
My only negative observation is that being in an office building in an area without activity very few people seem to know about this gem and so therefore on both my visits There were just a few others dining. In the current climate of people looking for upbeat atmospheres to counter lockdowns and face masks no one wants to dine in an empty restaurant no matter how good the food.
Don’t be fooled by its location, I’m glad this little gem of an Italian restaurant was advertised on open table. Start to finish it was a wonderful experience the family owned a restaurant was well appreciated in today’s times. Everyone was so warm and professional and the food was great! Their menu and specials seem to go on for days and all sounded so good. Wish we weren’t just they’re on our last night. A must place to eat one in Fort Lauderdale.
This is my new "favorite" restaurant in Fort Lauderdale – a lovely, lovely meal (again) in a lovely, quiet setting. The chef is amazing!
A recommendation that was well worth trying. There are so many new restaurants opening that dining out has become a challenge and an adventure. DiValle has proven to be a place one should put on their list to experience. They food was delicious prepared with a high standard towards excellence. We definitely plan on returning often.
Some of the best Italian food I've had in the US. Delicious bread, appetizers, main course and wine. Service is top notch. Eat outdoors or inside. Our 2nd time here in 2 weeks. Carey, one of the owners, is a peach!
It was great, we are definitely coming back for more.
Chef Umberto is amazing – as they say in the Foodie world, "This guy can cook!" The restaurant is small, intimate and just lovely. The food is outstanding and the service is personal and efficient – can't think of a single negative. The prices are very reasonable and the fact that Chef Umberto is solo in the kitchen, making everything himself from scratch, is just phenomenal.
What a find! Looking through Open Table and and came across this awesome place. Very laid back atmosphere and not super crowded. The food will most definitely keep us coming back for more. Not to mention the service was on point. With a table of eight everyones meals were amazing and I even heard once or twice "This is the best pasta I have ever eaten" Can't wait to enjoy another meal with DiValle's.
We absolutely love Di Valle's Cucina ! we have been there often and the food is totally excellent ! lets start with the service- warm friendly and they bring homemade breads with the best bruschetta ! if you are really hungry the calamari is crisp and delicious. I always have the flounder which melts in your mouth and my husband loves the chicken parmesan or fruit de mare.
let not forget the limoncello shots to top off a perfect dining experience. MARCIAL RIGADOR is the best waiter in town
we will be back
My wife and I come here pretty consistently and love it! Great personal service and grwat food! Wine selection and quality is good! Would highly recommend this wonderful Italian cuisine hot-spot!
First time there they were out of a few dishes at 7:30 what we had was good, was noisy .
First time @ Di Valle’s. Good food, good size servings, great service
High quality ingredients, food came out hot/fresh and was seasoned well. Clean flavors and everything was just done right. Highly recommend if you want Italian food that is not your ordinary Italian restaurant.
We decided to try somewhere different for a change, wow I am glad we did!
Di Valle's Cucina Italiana has it all, friendly service, quaint atmosphere and the best part of all, the food.
To start off they bring out complimentary fresh bread bruschetta, the bread is baked in house. It was literally the best I've ever had.
Next we had Polpo Alla Griglia (grilled octopus,) it had a great char on the outside and was tender and juicy on the inside - amazing!
For entrees my wife had Fagottini Alla Pera which is basically little pockets of pasta filled with cheese and pears then topped with gorgonzola sauce, she loved it! I tried it, it was delicious and different. I had linguine with white clam sauce, it was perfect. The clams were fresh and the past and sauce were fantastic.
Obviously, I really enjoyed the food, but it wasn't just the food, it was the experience as well. This is a family operation, our waitress was the chef's daughter. They and the rest of the staff were more than accommodating they were enthusiastic!
I will definitely be returning to Di Valle's Cucina Italiana, some times it pays to try something new.
I love this place but last weekend it was not very good. They were very crowded and the chef could not handle the volume being by himself. We waited an unacceptable amount of time for a soup and salad. The waitress said they weren’t going to charge for the soup but they did. Service was as minimal as it could be. Very disappointing experience.
OMG! This is like dining on the Amalfi coast in Italy. Food and service are both excellent. We truly salivated just reading the menu!Everything is made onsite by Mama. We ordered the veal Marsala and the veal Saltimbocca. Yum! There are not enough words to describe how wonderfully the flavors took us back to Italy. Save room for dessert! Torte Nona is the perfect finishing touch, not too sweet, just perfect dolce. Mille Grazie!
The chef and server were AMAZING! The chef would make and modify any meal. A hidden gem!
Horrible. Never got water, never got food. Never have had such bad service. And on New Year’s Eve dinner made it even worse. Waitress opened the wine behind the table, broke the cork, and served it anyway. Had a glass full of cork. She gave us another bottle and had us open it ourselves. Couldn’t even get there attention to pay the bill for the wine. Kitchen was chaotic and not wearing gloves preparing food. Not any social distancing. Horrible horrible horrible
We had a 7:45 reservation. We ordered a bottle of wine and 3 apps. The wine came out and we had to open it as the server could not. Then the apps came out, well 2 of the 3 did. The third was a special dish not available as an app. We weren’t told this until the other apps came out. So we ordered 3 entrees when the apps came. After about an hour, approximately 9:15 at this point, we asked about the other app and our entrees and were told “we apologize for the wait but we are extremely busy tonight” we said, no worries, bring us another bottle of wine and some bread. 15 min later we get the wine (had to open it again ourselves) and no bread. At around 9:45 we asked for the bread again and when it came, around 10:00pm we asked about our entrees and app and the waitress said she’s going to put in a rush order. AT 10:15, we ask and the reply was “sorry, we ran out of chicken and the chef never started your entrees, he is going to now” obviously we asked for the check and they actually had 3 apps and 3 entrees on the check. Completely unacceptable service. It’s unfortunate as we enjoyed the 2 apps that we received. If you have all day, maybe give it a shot, if not, don’t bother.
fabulous food! small quiet place where you can talk over dinner! love it!
We loved everything! Service was amazing. Every dish was better than the next. It is definitely a hidden gem. I just randomly found it on open table. Can’t wait to go back!
This restaurant is a gem. Great Italian wines and excellent food. Would go back in a heart beat!
Our precious neighborhood place
A regular place for us. Like family
Calling all foodies! This is where you can find creative, comfort, friendly, consistent, and overall, delicious Italian food. Truly outstanding!
I love this place. I go every Saturday. Excellent and consistent quality
Wonderful place and great food.
Dinner was very good. We wanted to try a new place. My daughter had dined here when it was Fabio the Venetian. So she was super interested in seeing the new owners food.
We shared appetizers, a beet and arugula salad, and the prosciutto pastry roses with gorgonzola sauce. OMG we didn't leave a drop.
Our entree's were: mushroom medley with fettuccini pasta, and I the salmon with shrimp, clams and mussels. I'm not a huge mushroom person, but the pasta was amazing. tasted fresh. My salmon was excellent, and my husband had it the following day, and wants to come and eat at Di Valle's too.
The food tis fairly priced with a well rounded wine list. Available by both the glass and bottle.
Service was good. Our server didn't rush us at all. Place VERY clean and we felt comfortable dining inside .
Will be back again.
This is world-class Italian food! I would travel just to have dinner in this place. Is definitely an outstanding option in this very competitive Italian-restaurant marketplace.
One of my favorite restaurant. Excellent as always
I guess we are becoming regulars here the food is so good. Love their bruchetta and home made bread. Again I had their scallop appetizer with an amazing garlic breadcrumb sauce. My entree was a perfectly cooked risotto filled with clams, mussels, calamari,, shrimps, and a lobster tail. I was too full for dessert! Will be back soon.
It was our date night but- our second time coming and it was wonderful! A beautiful tucked away Italian place!! We have already made reservations for other days coming up next month!!
This was our fourth trip and we've yet to be disappointed. They have the best topping for bruchetta of any restaurant in town. I could make a meal of it. I had their scallop appetizer. It had on of the best garlic breadcrumb toppings I have ever tried. I would love the recipe. For the main course I had the linguine with clam sauce. It is one of the few places that will serve it without the shells if you choose. It was delicious. My friend had a chicken breast stuffed with cheese and and meat served a choice of veggies or pasta. We will definitely try to return soon.
Great place. Food was good with a nice wine selection. Staff was attentive with great suggestions.
