Nestled in the picturesque and historic Holme Valley; tucked away between ancient woodland and the gentle ebb and flow of the winding River Holme… lies Devour, a stone’s throw away from the cobbled streets of Holmfirth.

“Old School Italia with a little Devour Twist”

We’re located in a beautifully restored former Wood Turning Mill and Dyehouse, with Riverside Garden and Wild Flower Meadow, with decor embracing our post-modern industrial heritage with the warmth and energy of an Italian Piazza.

    Beautiful space with friendly and warm servers but food took an hour to come from the point of ordering which we felt was excessive. Restaurant wasn’t full and we only ordered pizza each after some olives to start.

    A great evening at Devour and how nice to see everyone dressed up too! The atmosphere was lovely, nice and busily noisy and still going strong at 10pm which seems rare these days. Food excellent.

    We found the atmosphere friendly and lively without being too noisy.The service was friendly and welcoming , and not too quick which was appropriate for a leisurely supper out with friends. A good selection of starters and mains including vegetarian. I had strips of fillet steak with pasta in a creamy brandy sauce with peppercorns. Delicious. Pricing was middle of the road and the drinks and wine selection reasonable in price.sss

    Food and service was really good and the atmosphere was good too. It was nice to go somewhere and not feel that you had to eat up quick and be out of the door by 9.30pm. Will go again.

    Devour is just delightful! Fabulous place, the food was delicious and the staff and service excellent. Such a lovely vibe in this restaurant. Highly recommend!

    Great food & service. It’s a lovely place. The only down side is the volume of the background music.. we found it a bit too loud.

    Another fabulous lunch at Devour Great to have calamari back on the specials for the summer. It was delicious. Impeccable service as always too 🤩
