   We've been to Devour a few times now, the building, setting and decor is very well done. there's a vast choice of cocktails and a good varied food menu. hThe food overall is very good and staff are friendly. It's been a favourite for a while. Unfortunately the last two visits , service has let it down. The service is incredibly slow. The drinks have been slow coming, we've had to chase food on both occasions foe each course and some of the dishes were cold when they arrived, we think they were being kept warm while the other dishes were being cooked. They seem well staffed and It hasn't been particularly busy. By the time we were getting desert this time we were practically the only ones in there so we don't know what is taking so long. It's a shame as its happened once two many times now for it to go from being a favourite to putting us off returning.

   Devour is just getting better and better The menu is so much more varied than it has been and so much more choice of protein and vegetables. The amount of pasta is reduced which certainly suits us - love pasta but found the menu a bit top heavy with it before. The ambience as always was great, buzzy and lively. The staff were exceptional, and Tilly our lovely waitress was a joy, funny and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble and she went above and beyond to give us everything we wanted including a bowl of JUST crème anglais. The bill was very expensive but our party did have 4 bottles of wine so our fault really. So a great visit and definitely be back when we’ve saved up! 😂

   Had a lovely early evening meal. It was a little noisy as we were seated close by a hen party but to be honest on the whole didn’t spoil our celebrations.

   Excellent food. However it was very busy, and we were late being taken to our table, and slow to take our food order. They really needed more staff on. It was also very noisy, which I appreciate is partly to do with the nature of the building. Having said this it won’t stop me returning or recommending it to others.

   First time at Devour and it was amazing. Really lovely setting right by the river, lovely ambience. Food was delicious and our server Tilly was brilliant. Can’t recommend highly enough.

   Excellent service with very friendly staff. Great food that was a little different from the norm. Lovely eating area with plenty of space around each table. One member of our group felt it was very noisy, which I suppose it was, but didn’t bother the rest of the group and I don’t think there’s a way of reducing the noise as the room was full and therefore very popular! Thank you Devour for a lovely evening.

   Wonderful experience. Food and service excellent ,could not fault any aspect of our visit. Definitely the best Italian restaurant we have visited in a long time. Would highly recommend.
