Devine Cheese & Wine
Our rotating selection of more than forty domestic and international artisan cheeses paired with specifically chosen accompaniments is an experience in and of itself. At Devine we have tremendous passion and an age-old love affair with cheese. We want our guests to indulge with us in the silky-sexy, sharp and nutty, old and funky, fresh and frisky world of cheese.
Devine has been a long time dream come true. Owner, Liana Ryan, has had a vision of a neighborhood casual spot that offers a wide selection of cheeses you cannot find other places, as well as a selection of old and new world wines.

Went for the Valentine's dinner. Very good food and friendly service. Will be back.
AlwAys a wonderful night out
Perfect outdoor setting. Loved the cheese selections especially the feta and blue. The duck prosciutto was a treat as well as the chorizo. Not a bite wasted! We shared pasta and short ribs and Mac and cheese. All delightful! Wine selections were perfect!
A truly great experience. Exciting cheeses and charcuterie (we go for the stuff you can't easily get in the US - and it's all here), and impeccable service. Fun wine selection.
This is such a find! The cheese WAS devine, as was everything else on the menu. My mom loved the scallops and the mac n' cheese was delish.
Excellent food, wine, and service
We had a lovely time out on the patio, enjoying a diverse selection of cheese and great choice of wines by the glass.
Super cute place with great wine list and even better cheese selection. Love the patio lights!
This is a great place for fine dinning and great cheese and wine assortment. Service was exceptional. Friendly server who knew the menu and had great recommendations.
Overall great experience. Very unique, beyond special— wonderful gourmet selections. My only criticism is that the waiter (who worked hard and Was engaging) had a very strong foreign accent making it hard to understand what he was explaining. This was an issue given that the menu contained specialized European items (cheeses etc.) that we weren’t familiar with.
The service here is great and all the food items we tried were delicious!
You get cheeses with crostini bread and different dips--all very wonderful. The wine selection is extensive too!
I recommend the short ribs and the ricotta crostini. Delicious! With nectarines. The scallops are delicately made and absolutely delicious as well. I would come back here again. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing, and the service is outstanding. Try their virtual wine and cheese as well!
Cheese was SO good, and maybe the best salami I've ever had. Service was good. Pricey overall
Overall I had a lovely time, the only detector was the people across the street blasting music (lots of cursing). That isn't the restaurants fault. I'll be back!
This is a local favorite for my boyfriend and I! The food is great and the service is wonderful. We brought our friends here and they loved it as well!
Awesome customer service and amazing food.
Amazing cheese, wine, food and service!!! Love this new addition to downtown San Jose!
The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. We will definitely be back!
Great experience all around! Exactly what you want from a wine bar: small plates, cheeses/charcuterie, excellent wine, intimate setting, and outstanding service. The almond cake is to die for!! We were also able to purchase a bottle of sparkling to go!
Poor location as there is very limited parking. Great selection of cheeses but way too pricey.($7.00-8.00 for one (1 oz). Really!! No sodas except $6.00 lemonade (?!) Had macaroni and cheese for $16.00...
Good neighborhood restaurant to hang out for wine and cheese. Would like to see them expand on the food menu to have a few more choices. The size of the cheese is a little small for $7 each (bit)
The food was excellent. The place was too noisy though. It was really difficult to carry on a conversation. The service was fine. The main flaw I experienced was the total lack of non-alcoholic beverages. If you don't want alcohol you are stuck with just water.
Amanda, thank you so much for dining with us. I am very glad you liked the food! We do offer 3 non alcoholic beverages listed on the menu ( Fever Tree Ginger Beer, Topochicco, and a sparkling limeade.) We will look into expanding this in the future. Thank you for your input.
