American fare with a German flair
Some German flare items include, schnitzel, sausages, pierogies and spatzle. We also have American fare items like crab cakes, fish and chips, burgers and hot dogs. Our beer list includes German and American Craft Beer. And thanks to our world class bartenders, we have many amazing drinks, such as The Old Easton, The Last Word, or Devil & The Slu, all featuring freshly squeezed citrus juice. So come by and grab something for lunch or dinner!

Was very happy having stumbled upon this place as we were looking for a place with outdoor seating for 4 on a Saturday night! Outdoor seating was nice with a large fire pit (they said they had two more on order). Food was very good. Started with pretzel and tots appetizers which was great. Had the burger with short rib and it was excellent also. Others got the wreck sandwich which they loved as well. Overall, I would recommend this place for a nice but casual meal out.

Devil’s has always been a great place to come and hang, especially for the Eagles games! Now they have a nice patio for those beautiful fall days as well!

Good food. Good drinks. Great service. Lots of families with small kids unexpected but not an issue. We enjoyed our dinner and would recommend going.

The pretzel bites for an appetizer, are quite good. I had kale salad with salmon, also very good. It's hard to make kale flavorful, so I was pleasantly surprised. My husband ordered wiener schnitzel and I also tried it. It tasted good, however, the meat was chewy, almost tough. Our server asked the cook about this and our answer was that that is normal, or it sometimes happens. That was the only disappointment.

Enjoyed our time at Devils Acre. 5 people outside dining. They took Covid protection serious. Feel they were wiping everything down really good and had a hand sanitizer at every table. Waiter was a pleasure and knew his food. Has a german flair, Not heavy german. Enjoyed the Kielbasa dip and the Goulash App was a filling meal. Prices were good and they had a extensive drink menu. I had the Pork Schnitzel which was tastey. A little more fried then what I like but other people at table enjoyed it. Would go back but would order something different for my meal.

Pretty authentic "German" food with a varieties of sausages. Loved the pierogies. Since we ate outside (COVID), hard to judge the "ambience". Indoors looked cute and rustic. Great beers too.

Food was delicious as usual. Indoor dining was limited but plenty of outdoor seating. Limited menu due to corona but all our favorites are still on there!

Usually love it here but the food was definitely off its usual quality and the service was a little slower than expected (although our server was great!). I am thinking it was just an off night and will definitely give them another try.

Dining in the COVID world is indeed a challenge but Devil's Tavern seems to be doing things right. The food was great and the drink and beer selections are awesome. Will likely be back soon as we are underwhelmed by many of the other places we frequented since the post pandemic changes.

Outside seating was crazy crowded, way too close to each other, in the sun or on a tiny step by the entrance door...no way! Opted to go in to be told by the waitress that we could not have a glass of water- in an attempt to sell bottled water. Not friendly at all. She grudgingly brought us water, while others were given it with no problem. Only good thing, the sides were tasty. Schnitzel was burnt & overdone, even after 1 was sent back & the 2nd received. Oh boy!!!

Very good food with lots of variety. Good service. A little pricey for the atmosphere and I didn’t like that we had to pay for bottled water with no other option. Still a good spot for a date night or get together with friends !

First outdoor dining during COVID-19. They did a great job. Had one minor hitch with one of the items and they fixed it right away. Quality ingredients lead to tasty food and they have it.

We love Devil's Acre, but since moving to the Lehigh Valley have not been local. But we found an excuse to get down to the area and made a reservation. The experience was awesome, and the best way to share it is by describing our meal. My wife and I love to order a bunch of things to share- so we started with the Deviled Eggs, and Kielbasa Dip Appetizers. Paired with a few drinks, both of these are very tasty, "comfort food" type starters that allowed us to nibble and socialize in a nice way to start off the meal. We then decided to also split the entree- Crab/Kielbasa Mac n Cheese. Which we've ordered in the past in a previous visit, and knew that while delicious- it's also very rich and filling. By sharing the plate, we plotted our course to saving room for dessert. Which was also a share- the brownie, which was amazing! And a very big serving. It was covered with a warm coating of delicious, sweet sauce that was hard to describe but a perfect pairing. Here's what's great about the whole experience- it's a delicious meal, in a good atmosphere, at a VERY reasonable price for what you get. The waiter was great- but he was also covering a lot of tables which made it hard for him to be "over" attentive. That said, service was very good- and it always has been for us in the past too. If you've never been to DA, give it a try- it's a local gem.

If you can't decide between authentic German food (purely but also some with an America fusion like crab kielbasa "mac and cheese" made from spatzel instead traditional elbow macaroni) and American gastro pub food (great burgers here), you're in luck. Same with the beer selection if you're a fan of American craft as well as authentic German styles (Kolsch, Pils, Altbier, Hefeweizen, etc.). This place has the best of both worlds, so indulge yourself in selections from both if you like both. Also has a nice, spacious, shaded outside dining option if that's what it takes to help you feel safer when dining out these days. Easily accessible with plenty of parking, also.
