Devil's Acre Tavern
American fare with a German flair
Some German flare items include, schnitzel, sausages, pierogies and spatzle. We also have American fare items like crab cakes, fish and chips, burgers and hot dogs. Our beer list includes German and American Craft Beer. And thanks to our world class bartenders, we have many amazing drinks, such as The Old Easton, The Last Word, or Devil & The Slu, all featuring freshly squeezed citrus juice. So come by and grab something for lunch or dinner!
The Rueben sandwich was good. The short rib goulash also tasty
I love the fresh, delicious food at Devil’s Acre. The staff is extremely attentive and kind. We had a great time. Worth the price.
Servers and bartenders are outstanding and so is the food.
Service (6pm Monday evening), table and kitchen, was slow. Offerings for children was fair. We decided it's not a place to take the family.
Great food and service!
Food was awesome! Always something unique and flavorful to try.
An awesome local spot that ALWAYS delivers great food and superb service. One of our all time favorite places to eat.
German beer selection was awesome. We enjoyed the many choices on the menu and felt that the service was just right. We will return
I have to go at least every couple of months for the kibolsa dip. Chicken kale Ceasar was great and Beef on a Weck is always great. Perogies were average at best tonight but overall always a great experience.
I love the food here. We were a party of 8 and one couple asked for their own bill the rest of us split the other. There were a few items on both bills which was a little annoying. I’m sure it was an accident ...... but we will definitely go back.
We absolutely love it we have been multiple times and never been disappointed ❤️
Pretty good food, nice booze and beer selection. The service was great.
Although the food and service were good, we couldn’t wait to finish eating to leave because of two things: the noise level was unbearable to the point we had difficulty hearing each other; secondly, the temperature was like a meat locker. Extremely uncomfortable. I would go back for the interesting menu and tasty food but will bring a sweater and go during the week rather than the weekend in the hopes there’s a more pleasant noise level.
Delicious as always. Awesome beer selection too
This hidden gem was phenomenal! The food was outstanding and the service superb! The crab cakes were like nothing I had ever had before. We loved the sausage sampler platter that we shared as an appetizer. Overall terrific, casual dining - we will be back!
As always, the Schnitzel was terrific. Jack our waiter was awesome. If you haven't tried Devil's Acre, what are you waiting for?
Love your Monday night specials, every entree was delicious and completed with a yummy brownie! Can not wait to go again!
The food was spectacular! I had the chicken schnitzel with cream corn grits! I love the look of the place.
Not only is the food and service (waiter was awesome) and drinks great, but Katie (mgr) is also highly personable, professional and friendly. Most well loved restaurant in area - highly recommend. Lisa Rittenhouse
Great atmosphere and unique menu. Good choice of beer and wine.
The food is thoughtfully prepared and can be customized to your liking. We are always treated very well each and every time we go there.
Interesting variety of menu items. Casual fare. Good bar menu. Servers are friendly and attentive. No room for dessert after sharing an appetizer and an entree!
Not since I lived in Wisconsin have I enjoyed such good wurst and craft beer! And that was when the brats were farm-raised meat and craft brews were Point beer or other local brews. The sausages are excellent, sides are beautifully paired to the meats and the meal was simply wonderful. Go there, but go hungry!
We enjoyed our meal and are looking forward to going back!!
We’ve recommended Devil’s Acre to a few people already!
Brunch with Mom,it was Awesome
my husband and i visited on a saturday night. the first thing we noticed was the extremely uncomfortable small metal chairs. the next thing was even though its called a tavern, the only beers available were craft beers. even though they had 25 beers on tap, none were popular, american beers. so we ordered mixed drinks which were waaaaay to strong. no flavor. just alcohol. the pierogie of the day was cheddar, kielbasa but was really just flavorless. the tavern fries were good. hot. fresh. the chicken schnitzel with creamed corn grits and potato salad was a waste. the grits were cold. the potato salad was not good. the chicken was dry. the roasted half chicken was good. we ordered the chocolate chip donuts for dessert. bad choice. just deep fried balls of dough. not doughnuts but the raspberry ice cream was good. sorry to say, one and done with the devil.
Sat at a high-top in the bar. Enjoyed great drinks, delicious food and friendly attentive service.
Great whiskey selection. The "Devil" wings are delicious and one of a kind.
Chairs are “Very Hard” a cushion would make the visit more “comfortable!”
If you like German food with a modern twist and great cocktail list, this is the place for you.
Food is always fantastic as are the cocktails (try a Red Hook if you like bourbon). We had an exceptional server. I tried a new dish on the menu. It was a vegetarian farro but I added blackened salmon. Super good. Love Devil’s Acre. Prices are a bit high but meal is good.
DAT is a reliable place for dinner or lunch. Food is always good, great service
and upbeat decor. great selection of wurst...
Our service was excellent, very helpful and knowledgeable. The food was outstanding. Every dish our party got was incredible and it came out to us very quickly and was hot! Recommending this place to everyone I talk to.
Good food good drinks. Wait staff was very attentive. Very good experience. I would go back again.
Fantastic place. Creative food. Excellent staff. Need to go back to sample everything on the menu.
We always have a great visit here. I am addicted to the Warm Kielbasa Dip and Beef on Weck
Very delicious food with great ambiance!
We went here for Mother’s Day Brunch. The website didn’t say anything about a fixed menu. However, we went to this restaurant specifically because they had gluten free choices on their regular menu. The fixed menu made it more limited than I would have liked. The regular brunch menu was not available.
The prix fixe came with soup or salad, but they never came out. We were offered to have the soup or salad after the entree (seriously?) or to have them packed up to go. Or we could have had them stick our entrees under hot lamps for 15 or 20 minutes. None of these were good solutions. We chose to skip them. The manager did credit us $15 for them. However, this was a special occasion for my wife and it was very disappointing. I’d rather have a good dining experience than $15 savings. The food is average. Cornbread waffle was good, but the short ribs Benedict was too sweet and the egg whites were runny and undercooked.
Fun atmosphere for a weekend night. A bit too noisy but a birthday party going on in the bar where we were seated so maybe louder than usual. Very interesting and different menu.
We really like there food a lot and a very nice place to go to
