Devil's Acre Tavern is the second restaurant by the Hugill Brothers and Robert Marchesano, creators of Maxwell's on Main. In this beautiful, fully restored and renovated roadside tavern, you can find a wide variety of "QUALITY GOODS and FINE LIQUIDS".
American fare with a German flair
Some German flare items include, schnitzel, sausages, pierogies and spatzle. We also have American fare items like crab cakes, fish and chips, burgers and hot dogs. Our beer list includes German and American Craft Beer. And thanks to our world class bartenders, we have many amazing drinks, such as The Old Easton, The Last Word, or Devil & The Slu, all featuring freshly squeezed citrus juice. So come by and grab something for lunch or dinner!

I just love this place. Have been here many times and given great reviews but this time was my first for Brunch. Their Benedict was amazing and the skillets my friends had they said were equally great. I highly recommend the Spicy Maria to go along with it!

Nice place to have the dinner with friends. Got Weisswurst, Knockwurst, Bratwurst and Krainerwurst to share with friends. So tasty!

Fine food, very loud, prices fair, chairs very uncomfortable. I would eat there again, but I might prefer sitting on a bar stool. It’s close to my home, and I’m happy it’s there!

EVERYTHING IS GREAT FROM THE FOOD TO THE STAFF. WE HAVE RECOMMENDED DEVILS TO JUST ABOUT EVERYONE WE KNOW. WE HAPPENED TO HAVE OUR FIRST DATE AT DEVILS AND WE KEEP COMING BACK. EACH TIME WE ARE BRINGING NEW PEOPLE WE LOVE IT SO MUCH.

Great food and a unique menu. Really enjoyed our meal! Place was full so noise level was high making it hard to converse at the table, but overall, loved our experience.

First time having dinner at Devil's Acre Tavern and I was very pleasantly surprised. Live in Doylestown so always looking for new places. This one is just outside the Borough so you don't have to contend with finding a parking spot. Our waitress was excellent and very attentive. I started with the onion soup, which was excellent. I had one of the German specialties as my entree, and it was delicious, and there was so much I ended up bringing some home. The red cabbage as a side and the pierogies were a great addition. I'll be going back to try more.

Great food, great beers and very nice ambiance. Whether in the dining area or at the bar, I’ve had nothing but good experiences here. Friendly and attentive staff and quick service.

This was our first time at Devil's Acre Tavern and we WILL definitely be back. The food was fantastic! My husband and I shared the warm Kielbasa dip for an app, it was so good! For dinner we both got the pan seared scallops with bacon, spinach, and risotto...... by far one of the BEST dishes we have ever had! I could've licked the plate clean if people weren't watching! Service was great, ambiance was nice, a great choice.

One of our favorite spots, fantastic meal and experience, as always! The kielbasa dip is out of this world, the beef on weck reminds my husband of back home in Buffalo and the pineapple infused vodka is 👌🏻.

I was catching up with a friend and our server was super patient with us when we weren’t ready to order probably 3 times. The food was good and we liked the atmosphere.

The menu is unique and dishes are so tasty (borderline too salty for lots of main dishes). Drinks are fabulous except for the water which is terrible (plz get a filter)!

Loved the ambiance and decor. Service was a bit slow, but the food was worth it. I had the Dita Von Teese breakfast skillet. I ate the entire thing and I usually leave restaurants with leftovers. Would definitely come back to try other dishes.

We are regulars at Devils Acre. The staff is amazingly nice and they always provide fantastic service. The food is also tasty. We’ve tried many items on the menu as well as the specials and have always enjoyed our meal. They also have a great cocktail and beer menu!

I literally have nothing bad to say about this place, It was DELICIOUS and the service was great.
Had the soft pretzels and deviled eggs for an appetizer, both were delicious. Scallops as my entree, cooked perfect and super tasty. Nice, interesting beer selection...I went with a German IPA with my apps and then a house Chardonnay with dinner. Did not get dessert but they looked amazing, would like to try next time...was just too full! Fun atmosphere, there is a reason this place is packed all the time. I will be back as soon as I can!

The food was so good! Everything! The crispiness of the schnitzel so great! The links, perfect, flavor was over the top. Deviled eggs, omg! Pretzel bites, we didnt want to stop eating them. Our server was wonderful. Thanks for the great night out.

Devil's Acre is always great! We were seated for our reservation immediately. The bartenders were able to make cocktails that aren't on the menu, and the portions are large. Most entrees can be shared if you get an appetizer and a side.

Great ambiance and food.
Four adults and two small kids.

Place was hopping in a Saturday night.
Really nice vibe.
Rachel our server was terrific.
It’s a little pricey, but very good.

We've been to Devil's numerous times and have always enjoyed every part of the meal. Appetizers are great though we always gravitate towards the kielbasa dip and the deviled eggs because they are just SO good! The pierogie of the day is always very tasty and fresh. I would highly recommend.

We love Burger Fight Night on Tuesdays! Champion vs. a new Challenger each week. Crazy over the top combinations, with creative names. LOVED the Mac Daddy (fried Mac & Cheese on top of the burger!)
A crazy good burger and fries or side salad all for $10.

We are from out of the area, but if we are driving through we ALWAYS make a point to stop at Devil's Acre. Great modern menu, cocktail list. Beers are awesome. Service was excellent. Thank you for another super meal

Great food. Great service. Middle of nowhere. We are glad we found this during vacation. A nice change from pub food, American fare and Italian food that is everywhere in bucks county.

The restaurant was fine. It was disappointing that we made a reservation and got to a nearly empty restaurant and then had to wait until they set up a table for a group of only five. It took a half hour to order food and when one of our group asked if they had herbal tea, they brought out decaffeinated black tea without asking if this would be acceptable (it was not). I would think twice before taking anyone there again soon.

Our table was ready for us when we arrived. The atmosphere was lively and modern. Our server was pleasant, but not very attentive (they needed more staff to accommodate the number of diners). The kitchen refused a menu change saying we had to pay $6 more for fries (after our waitress told us $2 upcharge). Our food arrived very quickly. I had pork cutlet and spaetzle. The cutlet had a tiny amount of bacon jam. It was very dry. The spaetzle w/goat cheese side was clearly made ahead (I also make this side dish at home) and was also extremely dry. I waited a long time for a waitress. I told her how very dry my food was, and could I get some type of gravy to rehydrate it. She quickly brought some, but charged me $.50 for it. I will simply never go back.

You need to work on the acoustics in the dining room. When the room is full, it is hard to hear the person in front of you. I'm not a big fan of your beers on tap, so I order a Miller Lite when I'm there. You charge $4 for a can? For $4 you can at least give me a bottle. That little fact keeps me from coming back less than once a year.

Have been here many times before and thoroughly enjoyed it. This was the
first time for Sunday Brunch. Nice crowd, not overwhelming nor loud.
The apps ( poppers and deviled eggs) outstanding. 2 of us had the
deep fried French toast which unfortunately was way overfried. Either use
thicker (callah) bread or fry for a shorter time.
The guava mimosas were great.

Our dinner was Excellent! The food was wonderful. Our server was very good, timely, and attentive without being intrusive. The place was VERY loud. We had a difficult time with conversation due to the noise. The one major negative comment is the chairs. I cannot ever remember a more UN-comfortable chair in a restaurant. Maybe that’s why the tables turn over so quickly. It’s so uncomfortable, we wanted to eat and leave, not stay and have additional beverages.

First time here. We arrived earlier than our reservation, so we found some seats at the bar and ordered some drinks. I don’t recall her name, but our bartender was prompt and gave us a run down of the restaurant theme, told us about the menu that is American food with a German flair and made some drink suggestions. Our table was ready on time and we were seated. Service was great food was great. I didn’t give five stars because my dinner (Acre burger with sweet potato fries) was presented to me with visually over cooked fries (some were black). Other than that, the other three in my party enjoyed their dinners: prime rib, crab cakes and a kielbasa platter. Prices were on point for a tavern. The environment is an open concept and because of that, it can get a little loud. Bathrooms were clean and the staff was friendly. I would recommend giving them a try if you’re looking to find a new, fun place in the area.

Amanda was our server again and she was fantastic again! Very knowledgeable about the menu and helpful with food choices as well as beer choices.
