Devil's Acre Tavern is the second restaurant by the Hugill Brothers and Robert Marchesano, creators of Maxwell's on Main. In this beautiful, fully restored and renovated roadside tavern, you can find a wide variety of "QUALITY GOODS and FINE LIQUIDS".
American fare with a German flair
Some German flare items include, schnitzel, sausages, pierogies and spatzle. We also have American fare items like crab cakes, fish and chips, burgers and hot dogs. Our beer list includes German and American Craft Beer. And thanks to our world class bartenders, we have many amazing drinks, such as The Old Easton, The Last Word, or Devil & The Slu, all featuring freshly squeezed citrus juice. So come by and grab something for lunch or dinner!

    Pork schnitzel and short ribs are great. nice size portions. This time I had the short rib grilled cheese and it was amazing. Sad that they took their Brussel sprouts off the menu.

    Our server -“Q” is one of the best waiters we’ve had at this restaurant. Very attentive and pleasant. He also made one of the best Old Fashioneds we’ve ever tasted!

    Interesting take on a meat oriented sports bar. Unique appetizers and entrees and even their burger was different (short rib and special sauce) and everything was outstanding. Interesting drinks (red hook 👍👍) and extensive beer collection (but no non alcoholic 😢)

    Our second visit and we were pleased with everything again. A nice local tavern with German styled food and beer as their specialty. We will return.
