Just as the custom workshop next door creates two wheeled custom masterpieces, there is creativity and passion coming from the kitchen in Camperdown to surprise and delight the hungry crowds with bespoke culinary creations.Deus Ex Machina Camperdown (The House of Simple Pleasures) has been sating the appetites and caffeinating the souls of motorcyclists, artists, mothers and brothers of the inner west for over a decade. Menu items have come and gone over the years but the multi-flavoured philosophy of the Deus experience has always been reflected in the seasonal specialities served up by the chefs at the Deus Cafe to the coffee fuelled congregation.

We went to Deus for father’s day - my husband and father in law are massive motorbike enthusiasts, the amazing food, service and beer just made the day even better. Thank you for making our first father’s day as a family very memorable

This is still (after 5 years) still the one only place we come for Fathers day, Mothers day, Birthdays etc etc The food is always amazing fresh and the staff are always super friendly. Cant wait for the next excuse to go !!

Group of four local friends caught up for breakfast. I had avocado smash with a poached egg. Delicious. Coffee good too.

Staff are young but attentive and professional, we went on a special ramen night, ramen was ok but a bit expensive for the quality (eg. $3.50 for extra pork = only one slice...). Good atmosphere and vibe, beers on tap are always a nice touch, the burgers sound good, might have to return for those one day.

It was a great relaxed vibe. Service was excellent and personal. Food was fabulous especially the fried cauliflower and Ceviche. Will definitely go back.
