Welcome to Detroit"s premier Seafood Market. Our restaurant specializes in serving fresh and exciting entries that will not only excite the eyes but tantalize the taste buds. Our Chef is the renowned Chef Leonardo Vulja, who has over 25 years of fine dining experience. The restaurant itself sits in the Historic District of Harmonie Park. It is a quaint yet alive park which sits less than a mile from the Tiger Stadium and Lions Stadium. We are also position with in two to three miles of all major downtown venues. We are excited to offer a more laid back venue adjacent to the restaurant the Detroit Seafood Lounge. This is a smooth, laid back lounge for the Young, Old and Sexy. I found this restaurant to be OK. The service was very good. Mid week it was not busy. The dish I ordered was much to spicy for me. So exercise caution when ordering spicy food.

Sunday brunch. Great service, delicious food (except the grits). EXCELLENT service and we enjoyed the live jazz.

Food was pretty good. Expensive but not too bad. Crab legs were sliced in half for ease of eating but flavor was diminished.

Okay seriously the butter tasted like ummm well I can't even explain how disgusting it tasted. My food was cold. My bread was cold. My drink was cold. Everything was cold. Ew. I'd probably never go back. Well maybe if my girl wanted to I would. Besides that eff the place. Real review

The service was not very good - when our server finally decided to make an appearance at our table she took our drink order and appetizer order at the same time, and the appetizers came before the drinks! - and there was barely anyone there. Before the app's showed up I asked if there were peppers in the entree crab cakes and said I wouldn't get them because she said that yes, there were peppers in the crab cakes and then when the appetizer showed up (still before the drinks!!) it had red peppers in it. If I was allergic I would have died! Instead, I just had to pick out the red peppers from the mediocre $19 shrimp appetizer. Our main dishes were fine, but, especially for the price, nothing to write home about. Oh, and there were green peppers in the relish served with my fish dinner. Luckily I had asked for that on the side after ordering, but she should have said something; again, I'm not allergic (I just hate them! Yuck!), but she knew I had made a choice not to get a different dish because of the peppers. Overall it was just ok. I would have given 2 1/2 stars if that had been an option.

There food, staff, atmosphere... everything was awesome. If I was to mention a drawback...it is not a great place to have a quiet conversation because the music was a bit loud for that but we enjoyed ourselves.
