Welcome to the Detroit Fish House Steak & Oyster Bar
We are a new seafood, steak and oyster bar located in Shelby Township, MI.

At the Detroit Fish House, we are committed to excellence in all that we do. Our seafood is all “top of the catch” and impeccably fresh and the wines are hand-selected from all over the world to complement our menu. The most important component though is, of course, our service. It is the mission of the Detroit Fish House to exceed our guests’ expectations for extraordinary food, beverages and guest service in a warm & welcoming facility. This will be accomplished through the relentless pursuit of excellence in all of our menu items, an unwavering commitment to exceptional guest service and our sincerest desire to treat everyone as if they were a guest in our own home.

    Our first time here. I’ve been looking forward to going here for the lobster rolls. I was disappointed. Cold lobster and No flavor. The meat was a little tough. I had a Caesar salad to start which was excellent. The bread was good too. My hubby ordered faroe salmon burger. The first one came out charred so badly he could taste the char throughout. They loaded up his plate with fries albeit they were good. I had finished my meal before his remade salmon came out. That’s never fun eating by yourself. He didn’t really like it. It was flavorless. If we ever go back, the Caesar salad would be the only thing I would reorder….But not anytime soon. I do want to mention that our server was very attentive. It was my birthday so I got a to go box with a free dessert.

    Restaurant was hot and uncomfortable. Service was pretty good, not as attentive as I would like. The food as always was excellent.

    I had a wonderful dinner, The atmosphere was inviting, the service was excellent, and the food was flavorful and beautifully presented. A standout dish the stuffed shrimp was excellent and made the evening memorable. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return.

    Somewhat pricey but the food was very good as was the service. A very enjoyable dining experience!

    Waited 25 minutes for our initial cocktail, the bar was slow throughout our visit. Fantastic food, highly recommend the Salmon Rockefeller! April did a great job

    We enjoyed our dining experience at Detroit Fish House from start to finish! Delicious old fashioned cocktails, fresh seafood and yummy dessert! We're so happy that we chose to celebrate our anniversary here!

    Second time we’ve had Paul as our waiter, and he is absolutely the best. Knowledgeable, super attentive, and the best personality ever. For the east side of town, the food is excellent. Definitely not Michelin star material, by any means, but as I said, really good for the east side of town.
