   Overall I enjoyed my time. Food was good, the service was great and the ambiance was nice.

   Desnuda Brooklyn was excellent. We had previously been to Desnuda in East Village and loved its grungey cool vibe, with excellent food and service. Desnuda Brooklyn took it up a notch, with a lovely, clean, cool interior, with a few separate nooks for tables and a bar to keep it interesting. We sat at the front counter and fully enjoyed the energy of the kitchen staff. Those guys were totally hustling, cranking out great dish after great dish, bang on time, every time. Great energy. The drinks took a little longer to be served by the bar staff, though it probably did us a favour to savour the pisco sours a little longer.

   This place checks all the boxes! Amazing food, all quality ingredients and if you get the bar seats you can watch the chef cook your meal right in front of you which i found amusing. The vibe inside was classy yet youthful. The drinks were lovely as well, I highly recommend the Pisco Sour! This place is perfect for any occasion, date night, dinner and drinks with your gfs, or a small group of friends. What a little hidden gem this place is!

   Desnuda is a restaurant that could be so much better, but unfortunately it lacks a lot. For one, the "Feeling Lucky?" section of the menu is confusing. When I tried to order the salmon the waitress said it was sold out already. The menu had very little options and did not cater to a vegetarian/vegan diet at all. The vegan on our table could only order brussels sprouts (without bacon). Even the potatoes were cooked in lard. The ambience of the place is fun, however, the music did not match the theme of the restaurant whatsoever. My biggest issue with Desnuda, is the ventilation. Two months ago, my partner went to a dinner in Williamsburg and came home smelling awful, he didn't remember the name of the restaurant. Last weekend, I went there with some friends and when I walked in, I realized that it smelled of a kitchen but didn't think much of it. Needless to say, when I took off my coat after getting home, I smelt the restaurant on my hair, coat, and even underwear. My coat is still being aired out because it smells terrible! Even if I wanted to pop into this cute place for a drink, I would avoid it, because you're left with this lingering smell for days. I would love to see this restaurant improve its food selection and ventilation. Could be a great neighborhood spot to go to!

   Such a special place! The food is extremely delicious! It’s in the expensive side but worth every penny. I’m looking forward to going back for sure.

   Service was slow. Food was overpriced but tasty. I wouldn’t take a date there again because I think the food is too overpriced for what it is but I had a great time. Ambience is romantic for sure.

   I love this restaurant. Sitting at the chef's counter watching the chef's create culinary magic is my favorite . The food is always consistent creative and on point. I always bring out of towners here for a truly unique NYC experience. Highly recommend ! Also the menu is predominantly gluten free = winning.

    The Idea of an open kitchen integrated in the bar might be good, but unfortunately not well thought out. Ventilation is not existing and one will leave the restaurant smelling like pan fried food. Service at the bar is bad. The stressed out cook takes your order in an unpleasing way. Even though the food is very good, our overall experience wasn’t. Wouldn’t return.
