    The manager and front desk was great help to help seat my birthday guest. They were so nice and polite. However, Wendy was our waitress she was rude not polite she rolled her eyes at us in disgust? She proceeded to skip over my friend who was guest at table for my birthday dinner, she was rude not friendly she has no customer service skills at all. The guy that served with her that night I didn’t catch his name he threw the bread on table spilled our drink inappropriately reaching over drinks he was caught touching his nose. The food was amazing drinks were great but the servers was very nasty to us. Such a great atmosphere but waitress and waiter was not good at all to my guest.

    Relaxed with a couple of drinks before dinner. Loved that I was not rushed to order! Wait staff was very attentive. Had the ribeye, creamed spinach and wedge salad. Crème brûlée made the perfect meal even better!

    Tonight was our first time visiting Desi Vega’s and it could not have been a more positive experience. The food and service were outstanding. Kalil and Savannah were excellent servers, always attentive and engaging. They provided great suggestions for appetizers, entrees, sides and dessert. We will definitely be back in the future!

    Very nice, clean, interesting place. Seemed to be mostly a bar crowd when we were there. Appetizers were good, salads just OK, we didn’t have steaks that they specialize in, our fish was alright. Good place for a very special meal

    Great meal and drinks too! However, we were seated in the back corner area of restaurant so the ambiance was not typical of our other visits to Desi as we prefer the elevated area near the bar! We will be back but know to ask for our preferred seating location next time!

    Great salads and appetizers. My wife loves the crab appetizer. Speckle trout is always great. The steaks are very good and service is great.

    The restaurant has an attractive ambience when seated in the main dining area. I probably should have said something when I was seated at my table. We were seated in a corner in the back area that had no ambience at all. To compound the issue there was a large group celebrating a birthday there and they were loud. If I was to return I would ask not to be seated there especially if they were hosting a party. The food was good and so was the service. But I would probably not return.

    We were entirely rushed during a leisurely lunch. We were obviously not there on an office break, so the staff should not assume that although the restaurant is located in a high-rise office tower. Too expensive for such poor service.

    Desi’s is amazing. One of the best in Metairie for sure. Yes it may be a bit pricey, but for a fine experience or special occasion it can’t be beat. You will receive everything and more than you pay for. From the bar to dinner and dessert, the food and service will not disappoint!!!

    Desi Vegas is a delightful place to dine. Service was wonderful as was the food. Happy To say that our table was in a prime location. Sometime when only two people are dining they are given a table that is way in the back of the restaurant but not last night..

    Pretty enjoyable. Off to a slow start on refills they did pick it up. Steaks were great . The cheesecake was horrible,—overcooked , crumbly , off putting flavor in no way creamy like one expects with cheesecake and the bread pudding was more gelatin like then would prefer.

    Your food was amazing--perfect. We had the grouper and the trout and topped it off with Crème Brule. It was one of those meals that you remember in your dreams. And to make it even more enjoyable, our wait staff seemed to be mind-readers and were at the table just when you needed them, but not when you didn't. Of course, I would recommend Dezi Vega's to a friend--to all my friends.

    Yikes. Been awhile since I've been here, but I can tell you I won't be back again soon. My ribeye was riven with sinew and tendon. Informed the waiter as he picked up my plate what the inedible pile of glop remaining was exactly. He couldn't have acted more disinterested. Way too expensive to be served this kind of beef as prime. Was truly horrible. I guess everyone's cutting corners in these inflationary times, but to charge customers more for less is an unsustainable way to run a restaurant. There's so much better in New Orleans, thankfully.
