   This was our first time dining at Desi Vega's. It was for our 41st wedding anniversary! We made our reservations through Open Table. We arrived on time and rest of our experience was amazing. We will definitely visit again!

   Excellent experience for a special occasion. The service was very good (which says a great deal in the current restaurant employment struggles). Food was great. It is pricey, as expected, but they don’t rush your experience and they make sure you are getting what you want. Btw… the pompano special (yes…at a steak house) was incredible!

   Service was impeccable. Food quality and taste was exceptional, especially the turtle soup and crabcakes. Completely unexpected and I'm being a bit judgmental here because I'm basing my judgement on some of the finishes in the restaurant. They were a little cheesy like the water fountain champagne bottle as you enter and the chandelier as well as some of the other lighting. The lighting was all so different -- different styles and colors, etc. Also, the play list wasn't what I would have expected from a restaurant with such amazing food & staff. I would have expected that play list in a pub. Anyway, next time I'm in Covington, I will definitely to back.

    Excellent food and attentive service. Usually full. Main dining room can be a bit louder than we wish when everyone is talking over the live piano music. We love the meatball lagniappe. Wish the dish was available everyday.

    We were a little disappointed at all the things that weren’t available. Place setting was for 6 not eight. The service was good but since the staff looked like they were ready to go we felt rushed

    We went for Mother’s Day. I ordered the soft shell crab off of the special menu. When the dish came out the green beans were ice cold like they had just come out of the refrigerator and the cheese grits and soft shell crab were room temperature at best. I rarely send back food but had to with this one. To be fair the manager came over and was very apologetic and removed the dish from our bill.

    Tomahawk steak was not good at all. After speaking to another group they also confirmed the Tomahawk was probably the worst thing on the menu as well.

    The bone in filet was very good - my wife prefers fish but only one available and she not like way prepared so ordered small filet - she likes well done but it was too well done even for her. The wines were good and the service good.

    Service was very good two problems with the meal potatoes au gratin were burned on the bottom they did a redo the fish was pompano over seasoned way to salty basically inedible took the fish home and tossed it.😤 great job on the steaks chef need to be reschooled on seasoning and fish preparation.

    It was so fun! Came her for my sisters birthday, we have a 7pm reservation & didn’t get seated until almost 8pm. Service was slow but drinks were strong!

    Service was really good and they were very friendly. Food took awhile because they dropped one of our steaks on the floor and had to recook the steak. Then when they did bring out the food, they cooked the wrong steak that I ordered so it had to go back and they had to cook the right steak that I ordered. It came out very fast and the plate was so hot I burned my fingers on the plate trying to move it. Overall it was good but just a little disappointed.
