It was our first time and we were not disappointed. Very good service, tasty food. We had wine with our meal and it was excellent, with cocktails to finish. Atmosphere a bit flat but to be expected in the current covid restricted days. Will certainly return and would recommend.

After 3 years living in India we are delighted that we now have a restaurant locally that provides the flavour and standards we enjoyed our there, rather than the usual British Curry house. This visit was with friends we made during our time in Southern India, and they were as impressed as we are with the dishes available, and the standard of cooking. I can’t recommend Desh highly enough.

Food was exceptional, we will be visiting again very soon.

Been to this restaurant a few tines and have been really impressed with the food, the presentation and the ambience. Normally Indian restaurants don't have the nicest glasses for drinks but Desh do and it makes the experience more enjoyable.

Love the food here. Authentic and unusual the food is always well flavoured and presented beautifully. If you haven’t ever tried a Puri then you must! The Chilli Chicken is a real winner and would highly recommend the slow cooked House Special Beef Bhuna. By far our favourite Indian

Food had amazing tastes and aromas. Presentation was perfect. Had malling special grill which was great but hadn't realised that it included cheese and peppers that were identical to my starter. Plenty of quantity couldn't finish my main and no room for dessert. Would definitely go again.

The restaurant is clean and modern in appearance and has a special offer on Thursday evenings. The service was OK but could be better. At #18 for two courses I expected a bit more than a scoop of rice and small bowl of chicken in a spicy sauce and a small scoop of raspberry sorbet; the food was unremarkable and poor value for money.

Very different Indian food in a good way.
All very tasty. 4 of us chose 3 courses each from the Set Menu which didn’t disappoint. We had popadoms and chapatis, 2 Tiger beers an 2 cocktails for a total of £122 which was ok.
Would definitely go again.

We had a lovely meal in Desh. The chilli chicken to start was really tasty. I had the chicken tikka for main which came with rice and my husband had the salmon. Both dishes were really clean and incredibly flavourful. The staff were really attentive and the restaurant has a great atmosphere to it. We were told by the staff that they also do a children’s menu so we will definitely be back with the kids!

Service was very slow, very very noisy due to a table of 6 laughing and talking really loudly, it is a restaurant and not a pub at the end of the day, couldn’t hear friends of ours talking who we were catching up with.

Man cannot live by Desh’s bread alone. She can, by the high standards of everything else. Desh is the best Indian restaurant in Kent; I love the finer dining Indian food experience. Service is exceptional, food is prepared carefully and looks beautiful, matching the quality decor befitting the interior.

Lovely Authentic food. Our first time here and we were impressed. We had two straters, two mains and a pudding; one meal was from the set menu meaning we got a fair discount. Service was attentive, friendly and prompt, and as it was a very stormy weekday evening the place was very quiet. Portion sizes were excellent, and as we'd also ordered sides of poppadoms, naans and a daal we had loads left to take home, which made a great meal the following day. If they could edge the prices down a little this would be an absolute favourite in West Malling.

The food was really delicious. The spiciness of the curry can be adjusted to your preference. We had a really lovely night and would highly recommend.

The staff were extremely attentive and made you feel very welcome. Very professional and seamless service.

From the poppadoms at the start of the meal the food was excellent. After many years of eating Indian food this was by far the most unique cuisine we ever had.

You simply need to just make a booking and see for yourself.
