Booked dinner at hotel’s recommendation for anniversary (Megan Kaufman) . Also noted in reservation! No one acknowledged anniversary ! Seated near bar in busy section with football games playing loudly on all TV’.s! So disappointed as preplanned! Entire stay was chosen at new hotel for 41st Anniversary!

Wings?? YES - they were absolutely amazing. Fish and Chips were done quite well. Our waiter was great to make the night a success. This is a must not miss in North Scottsdale.

Desert Pony is located in the Hilton. You must walk thru the lobby to find it. I didn't mind that, but there should be signs outside. The food was great. Service was great. The server even knew that since I asked for no onions on my burger that I probably don't want them on my salad, which I forgot to tell him (he read my mind). I would go back. In fact when the weather gets nice I want to get one of the outdoor tables. It looks like such a beautiful view. Try it. You won't regret it.

I was very disappointed with the view. They claim to have a beautiful view of the McDowell Mountains but you can only see the peaks over a wall. I have a much better view of them from my house!

A little hard to find since it’s tucked away (inside the Hilton) and not visible from the entryway, but the Valet steered us in the right direction. The food was very good (tacos were amazing and plentiful) and the chicken sandwich was huge. I was a little taken aback when the server poured my house wine into my glass, as it was cloudy and a little bubbly. She said it was Wente (not a cheap wine) and comes on tap like beer. Once it settled, I tasted it and it was very good. Only $8 too! We will definitely be back when looking for casual dining.

Our server Caitlyn was fantastic. Super attentive, friendly great suggestions we had an absolutely delicious meal.. I got the harvest salad with blackened salmon & my friend loved her mahi tacos. Very kind manager Maritza stopped by to say hello & ensure our meal was great. Can’t wait to return on a night that they offer live music. Super!!

We were really surprised by the food quality and prep , wife had the salad with salmon, which was huge and very good and I had the ancho chile filet , was delicious and cut like butter !! Our server Htet was very informative and great !! The setting was very relaxed and music was very good !!! Will definitely be back !!

This was our first time. We had a very nice time and enjoyed most of the food very much. The burger was delicious and the cheesecake stupendous. The patio is beautiful and they have music thurs fri and Sat. We felt they should beef up the happy hour to include food and better drink specials. Overall a very nice place. We will be back.

It was lovely day and food was good. The details on Open Table say breathtaking views. However, all you can see is a block wall. We had selected the location based on the view so we were disappointed.

Was a birthday. It says on website happy hour. Well it’s just on drinks that even on happy hour were expensive. And I life in Scottsdale. I guess pricing for a hotel. The service was great. And the food was hit or miss had the chopped salad, which I would recommend. But others had the tacos which were below average.

The food was delicious, the drinks (alcoholic and not) were great, the ambience was beautiful. Our server was incredibly attentive and personable. Overall, we were thrilled with our choice to dine here for a Bachelorette party. Would definitely return if we ever come back to Scottsdale. The price was reasonable for the quality and presentation. 10/10.

We came at a busy time on a Friday evening. The most impressive part of the evening was our server, Cailyn. She was working a number of tables in a relatively crowded room. Every time she approached our table, she always had a bright smile on her face and gave us her total attention. She made us feel we were the only ones she was waiting on that evening. She made us feel very welcome.

Beautiful open air dining with lovely sunset mountain views! The place feels brand new and very clean. Quiet ambiance and not crowded which was perfect for our multigenerational group. Live music was lovely but a tad loud for our taste. New place means new staff which was evident in service timing - friendly and working hard but some missed steps with late drinks from the bar. Our teen boys loved their branded burgers! If you're looking to escape the crowds of Scottsdale for some peace and beauty with a solid meal this is your place.

Desert Pony is a new spot in town and well worth choosing this restaurant as your next place to eat. We were greeted by the hostess with such pleasure to have us as their guests . Our server, Logan was incredibly attentive, personal, and very professional. We definitely will ask to be seated in his section next time we eat there. The noise level was such that we could hear each other talk and enjoy our dinner. There is no downside choosing this restaurant for your next meal!

Desert Pony Tavern is the new "it" spot in North Scottsdale. Just off the 101 at Hayden Rd inside the Hilton at Cavasson, the location is ideal and the views are spectacular. The food and service exceeded my expectations. There was live music on the outdoor patio near the pool and we watched the sunset over the McDowell Mountains. I will definitely be back!

Everything was outstanding our meals with flavorful and delicious. The bartenders were fun to talk with and made awesome drinks. We sat by the fire at night and the outdoor patio space is a great vibe. A sneaky good spot that I’m looking forward to returning to!

What a hidden gem! The staff was so over-the-top accommodating, from the host to the waitstaff, they were exceptional. We were seated outside when it began to rain. We went inside with no problem and much consideration. The food is delicious, everything has an unusual little twist to make it unique. Very happy we found Desert Pony, we will return
