We came here for a light meal before the show. The service was awesome and the food got there pretty quickly. We split a salad which was tasty, but had a little bit too much dressing on it. The fries were awesome! Our beers were delicious.

The food and the drinks were absolutely phenomenal! We will definitely be coming back. The mac n cheese and the patty melt were particularly great. The service was a bit lacking in the sense that our waiters hardly came by and it was difficult to get their attention, but they were very kind when talking to them!

The meals were amazing. The service was fantastic. The portions were a bit bigger than I liked but so very tasty. We were absolutely stuffed as we decided to have an appetizer & a shared dessert. 😀

It was my birthday, but the restaurant seemed to go out of their way to NOT make it feel special. We were at a cramped table that was wobbly and when we asked to move we were told the other tables were reserved. The server never cleared the plates and glasses that were finished, so the table got more and more cramped. We ordered a birthday dessert, and it came with no candle, and the server couldn’t be bothered to even say happy birthday. We love Deschutes, but I would not recommend it for a special occasion.

Met up for dinner and drinks before going to the Chinese Lantern Viewing. Drinks were good and food was great too. What you would expect at a Brewery. Our waitress was nice.

Easily got a reservation through Open Table. Immediately got seated. Had PHENOMENAL service all evening long. Great variety of beers to try. Food menu lacked some variety, but the burgers we had were prepared well and tasted good. Overall it was a very positive experience & I wouldn’t hesitate to go back!

Deschutes has become my "go to" place for lunch in the Pearl. The food is excellent, the service is prompt and friendly, and the place is usually pretty full which creates a nice buzz while dining.

Deschutes Brewery & Public House is a favorite of ours. When guest visit us from out of town this is always a stop before or after going to Powell's Books. We've never been disappointed with the great service and food. This visit Zack, our server, and the pasta special--squid ink pasta with shrimp--delivered. Oh, and did I mention the beer? Their regular taps are always good but I like to see what they have as local brews and their specials--this time a selection of fresh hop brews. I had the FH Extra Primo and the Hachi Mai, both very good. Basically it is a place that never disappoints as it proved once again.

Came here with my husband before heading out to the airport. It was the perfect last stop for our 8-day Oregon trip! The chicken wings with Sichuan sauce were really tasty and Caprese salad was very fresh. We had the fresh hop strut your strata IPA and the fresh hop mirror pond pale ale per our server’s recommendation. Both were wonderfully rich in flavor and refreshing at the same time. This will be our “must stop” for future trips to Portland for sure!

Right now there is only a "limited menu" of bar food available. They used to have an extensive menu pre-pandemic. Plenty of help so service was good. I really like the facility.

Great food and I appreciated that they know how to make an old fashioned! For me, it's a little noisy, but I get that's part of the ambiance for many. It'll be nice when the patio is open again, as a potentially calmer option than the main dining hall.

Great place for business lunch. I am celiac and they really take care of you if you must have gluten free. They even had a gluten free IPA! Thanks.
