About Denver Chophouse
You'll find the comfortable, warm-wooded restaurant filled with a crowd as diverse as the menu there for a special occasion or a casual gathering. The nostalgic feel, including the sounds of Big Band 30's and 40's coupled with a current menu with generous portions gives the Denver ChopHouse its approachable, yet upscale contemporary style. Handcrafted ales brewed on-site, small batch bourbons, and a fine array of single malt scotches all add to the ChopHouse tradition.

Denver Chophouse Ratings and Reviews
Denver has a lot of choices when it comes to dining and brewed beers. We tried the Chophouse for my son's birthday and we were very impressed. From the moment we walked into the restaurant to the time we left, we were treated to friendly staff members, a great selection of food and drinks, and an awesome dessert! Our waitress (Megan) was off the charts in friendliness and service and she single-handedly made this birthday dinner a memorable evening. When you try the Chophouse, ask for her and you'll see firsthand why we had such a nice evening!
We sampled the beers that are brewed on prem and they were all fantastic! The wine selection is also great and as mentioned, our meals were all wonderful.
I highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion!
The steak was very good, good wine selection and fair pricing. Service was not very good, waitress was not very interested in service, poured our wine to start then we pours our own after that!
We were there during Veterans week end, they should have not had NFL games on the TVs. Disrespectful to Veterans. I know veterans that can not kneel?
We have been to the Chophouse for dinner in the past but had not been there in a few years. Although our service was good, we thought the food was not that great... especially for the money. When my husband complained about his 16 oz prime rib being so fatty, the server acknowledged but didn’t do anything. I had the scallops and just felt they were overpriced for what you got. Wouldn’t recommend any longer....
We looked forward to dinner there. We work at Coors field and often hear nice things about the location. We had a reservation and were seating in basically a deserted part of the restaurant. The serve was slow to get to the table, and the first round of drinks were even slower to come out. We ordered an appetizer to share, and the server took our full order, which was fine. The soup arrived before the appetizer, and we had to remind the server we ordered one. So while the soup cooled, we waited. No one cam by to check on drinks unless food was delivered, so there was an opportunity missed. I ordered the rack of lamb medium rare, it came out medium, but was still very flavorful. The server did comp the appetizer, but that did not make up for the evening. On the more positive note, the valet service was excellent.
My partner and I went to Chop House for our 4-year anniversary, and were really impressed with the food as well as the service. I'd mentioned the occasion in my reservation, and the staff were kind enough to set us up with candle and cute anniversary message on the table-cover. They also took the time throughout the night to congratulate us, going above and beyond already-excellent service. We had the rack of lamb as well as the burger, and while both were excellent, the lamb in particular was a stunning dish at a VERY reasonable price. Chophouse is not cheap but there's no gauging, you pay for good cuts but they don't make you pay exorbitant markups. As for drinks, the specialty gin and tonic was delightful, as aromatic as it was well-balanced. My personal favorite is the Irish-style amber Red Ale they brew, which is just fantastically drink-able. I will have to try the other selectons next time. The bartenders are real professionals: I wandered in one night with a few friends, dressed in street clothes, and the bartender took the time to serve us quickly and check up on us often. As a young person, I can tell when I'm being blown off as a low-spender, but all of my Chophouse experiences have been truly incredible. Check it out!
Felt forgotten about on numerous occasions. Drinks left empty on numerous occasions. Had to ask alternate server for beverage refills, being a brewery we wanted to try a number of drinks but instead server assumed what our drink orders were and tried to bring the same drinks. Food and appetizers were good and so was the atmosphere. It was wife’s birthday and the two of spent upwards of $190 but server treated us as if we were there to drink water and eat an appetizer.
Took a group here for a business meeting. Nice local chophouse. Service was almost to quick. We had 4 courses and drinks complete in a little over an hour. Salads arrived before appetizers and food arrived before appetizers and salads were even close to being complete. Bottom line though - the food was a solid 4 stars! I’d have it again.
We were supposed to go to a concert at Pepsi Center and our tickets were a scam :( So we instead decided to go for a nice dinner and wound up at Denver Chophouse. It wound up being a wonderful meal, our server was FANTASTIC and the wine was top notch! Can't wait to go back!!
Hostess was rude over the phone, apparently very ʻput outʻ that we added 2 people to our party even though I called 1 1/2 hours before our reservation AND told her weʻd wait for a larger table.
When we checked in we were abruptly and once again rudely told that we would have to wait for our table. Not the best way to greet guests :(
Server was 3 stars, kept trying to clear plates that clearly werenʻt done, water glasses were consistently low.
The food was great but not so awesome that we wouldnʻt try somewhere else before considering Chop House again.
I took my Girlfriend to the Chop House Denver for her birthday. when we sat down there was a dirty napkin in my seat When we order drinks the waitress check our iID's she over looked it was my Girlfriends birthday. When the salads came to the table we have to ask for the knifes sense they for got to put the silverware on the table we sat at. I was very disappointed in the Chop House and they need to work on their service if they want to charging the prices they do.
Our experience at the Denver Chophouse was AMAZING! It has become a tradition to go for celebrating a special occasion. We arrived this year with customized congratulatory menus for our group! The service was attentive, the food was amazing, and the overall experience was the highlight of our weekend in Denver. The Spinach Dip appetizer and the French Onion Soup are MUSTS! Thank you Denver Chophouse for making our weekend unforgettable!
48th Anniversary @ The Chop House
My husband and I decided that a late lunch was the way we wanted to spend our anniversary. The Chop House didn't disappoint. The waitress, Nicole, was very attentive and provided extraordinary service. The food was definitely above average. The wine was an interesting white and it was delicious. We didn't have room for dessert. Our only regret was that Nicole is moving to Atlanta soon. We will be back and I know we will have great service and food. That's the way the Chop House does things.
I made a reservation for my boyfriend's birthday & he loveddddd it! He's been on a hunt for a place that specializes in steaks & he said that this was in his top 3 choices! I was late for the reservation & they still sat us down! It was our first time there & we will be going back for sure!
