Demo is a restaurant in the West Village serving modern, Europe-inspired cuisine from Executive Chef Quang Nguyen and Sous Chef Dina Fan. Inventive seasonal dishes—like wax beans with bottarga and boquerones—share the menu with updated classics like beef tongue tonnato, alongside a carefully curated list of wines by glass and bottle. The sleek interior, tastefully adorned with red marble and dark wood, hosts a front bar for walk-ins as well as a chef's counter in the back.

Please note: We are a small restaurant. Reservations in the dining room and at the chef's counter are intended for dinner. For drinks and snacks we accept walk-ins at the front bar. Thank you for your understanding.

Had a great experience here! Went for a wine event with Scribe for the evening so the wine was outstanding and didn't expect the food to be as good as it was! We had the pasta and the fluke and both were excellent. Bar vibe was good, back of the restaurant very cute as well. Bartender was great! Cute place to check out.

I went because Scribe winery was holding a pop up there. Demo has great ambience, the staff is very welcoming and kind; I really appreciated that they stowed my backpack for me since I came from work. It’s such a relief rather than having to figure out where to put my bag in a crowded bar/restaurant in NYC. My friend and I ordered the focaccia, spring pea, and ricotta, and everything was delicious, fresh and light. The flavors were layered and lingered. I definitely recommend.

Really enjoyed our experience here. Met up with a friend and no idea what to expect. Had a Monday night reservation so it was on the quieter side. Sat at the back bar and had a fantastic meal, some great wines, and excellent service with Leo for a very nice evening. Beware of sitting at the back bar though, as they caramelize the bananas for the banana pudding back there, and you'll likely end up ordering it (very worth it!).

Absolutely exceptional. The place was buzzing with a really great ambience. The raw scallops and mackerel dishes to start were melt in the mouth. Perfect. The lobster, sublime and the lamb ragout was also fantastic. Excellent service and attention to detail.
