Catering
Besides the traditional fare served in our restaurant, we will gladly work with you to include any other dishes you may require. In fact, we recently catered an affair where half the dishes were Ethiopian and the other half were Italian.

Such a fun experience to try Ethiopian cuisine! Not only is it an experience, but it tastes delicious too. I highly recommend the Honey Wine Sangria for my fellow sweet-tooths out there!

Delicious and authentic flavors and a great value. Two of us had the full vegetarian sampler platter, an appetizer, dessert and bottle of wine for under $100! Also right off the red line so even though it isn’t in our neighborhood we will definitely be back.

The food was delicious and the owner was so accommodating. She let us try the honey wine on the menu before we purchased it. I went with one other person but the family style menu looked awesome. I want to go back and try it with a big group so we can try even more options!

We enjoyed our dinner a lot. We hadn't had Ethiopian before but really enjoyed it. If you like Indian food then you should definitely try this. The service was prompt and the environment was great for a casual night out.

We stopped by Demera pre-concert at the Riviera and selected from the Chicago Restaurant Week menu. Food was well prepared and presented and served quickly. Very impressed with the variety of vegetarian options and there were enough interesting beers for our beer loving companion. Great introduction to Ethiopian food for our daughter - so good she's now looking for Ethiopian options near her home. Try the basil and lime sorbet - what a flavor treat!

Thank you Demera staff for a great evening.

We went for Chicago Restaurant Week! Food was absolutely incredible! Do yourself a favor and get the honey wine! It is sweet but has a lot of flavor.

Food was excellent- but I was left standing at the door for at least five minutes before I was seated-despite the restaurant being almost empty. Service was slow and I could tell the waitress didn’t care very much. Will not be returning.
