Nantucket’s DeMarco Restaurant serves contemporary Italian cuisine in its enchanting and relaxing eatery. For starters, diners can’t go wrong with choices such as the fungi misti with exotic mushrooms, pancetta and poached egg and the bruschetta di Parma with prosciutto, ricotta, parmigiana reggiano and balsamic. DeMarco Restaurant’s primi courses consist of delectable pasta dishes, like the capellini with sautéed shrimp, herbs, tomatoes and garlic, the sweet corn and ricotta ravioli with mushrooms and scallions in brown butter sauce and the Littleneck clams linguine with red pepper and white wine sauce, all of which are irresistible. Secondi courses include specialties, such as gusto di agnello grilled lamb chop with saffron couscous and pomegranate sauce and the pesce di giorno catch of the day served with white beans and chorizo. DeMarco Restaurant is the ideal spot for a marvelous dinner before enjoying the Nantucket scenery.
