We’ve always loved this restaurant but this time we felt rushed and the waitress was hovering all the time waiting To take our plates or glasses away. We ordered starters which didn’t come I think the waitress forgot. The drinks are really expensive. The staff are really Friendly and welcoming

One of the questions online when I booked asked if we were celebrating a special event, I put it was my birthday yet on arrival we had to make eye contact with a waitress to acknowledge us and nobody asked or acknowledged a birthday in our party. The food arrived but looked very sparse, like they were children’s portions, 6 pieces on one stick of chicken/lamb shish, a cup of rice and a small salad, disappointing for the price. We were then given someone else’s bill, while looking at the bill for a few minutes a waitress then came up and took it away saying ‘wrong bill’.. I think we will be booking with Effes next time as portion sizes are better.

6 adults and 2 children ate, we'd been before and loved it. Sadly we won't be returning. Tasteless food, my lamb shank was cooked but cold, lamb needed lots of salt to give flavour as otherwise bland. Chil pasta swimming in oil. Very poor value for money. Offered 10% off bill due to our disappointment which was really insufficient. We paid but will not return.

Went for my husband's birthday meal. Made a reservation and let them know it was a special birthday – but no one acknowledged it at all. It honestly felt like they hadn’t even read the notes or properly reserved us a table. We were plonked right next to a rowdy group of girls who were clearly having a good time and had been drinking a while – no issue with them at all, but I’d asked for a nice table for the occasion. There were definitely more suitable ones available earlier on, but by the time we arrived they’d been filled – otherwise we would’ve asked to move. It’s a shame they didn’t actually reserve us any table, especially considering the occasion. Service was fast but felt really rushed. The staff were polite enough, but everything just felt a bit chaotic and like we were being hurried along. They also missed off the salad that was supposed to come with my meal, and by the time I realised, it just didn’t feel worth chasing it up. The food was tasty, but definitely overpriced for what it was. One of the main reasons we chose this place was because they advertised live entertainment from 7:30 – it was actually a big part of why we booked. But there was nothing. No explanation, no heads-up, nothing. Just a bit of a let-down. To top it off, both my husband and I ended up with really bad stomachs afterwards. I hadn’t eaten anything else that day, so I know it was from the food. Not great, especially after spending £70. Overall, we were both really, really disappointed. It was meant to be a special evening we’d been looking forward to (we don’t often get a night without the kids) and it just completely missed the mark. Really ruined the evening. Wouldn’t go back. Really disappointed.

The experience this time was much better. Not as busy so had time to enjoy food and company. Noise was low, could actually have a conversation. Service was spot on, with many smiles. Thanks.

The interior was colourful and felt like you were on holiday in Turkey. Tables nicely laid out. Staff members friendly and welcoming. The Special for 3 was great, meat really tender and tasty. Enjoyed the rice, it had a lovely flavour and was moist, the turkish bread was also very tasty. We really enjoyed our meal and would recommend.
