Delucca Gaucho Pizza & Wine
The place is really nice. The pizza is Ok. It's a fun concept. The only thing I didn't like it was the fact that the pizza slices they serve you are 1 to 2 inches wide (tiny), and they don't offer you pizzas as often as you would expect in a gaucho style restaurant. We started eating dessert pizza in between in order to have something on our plates. Otherwise, a very nice place. I would say go and try it. The "gauchos" were extremely nice, our main waiter was not, he kept pushing us to buy the expensive bottles of wine. When we asked him "please give us a few minutes" he kept going on and on and on.
Always great! Brought family yesterday and they want to open one of this in Florida!
This concept it’s totally amazing!!! The staff is so friendly!! And the food it’s amazing!
I really liked and I’ll be back for sure!
If you like pizza you should try it!
We had a great service and the food was yummy! Loved the portion sizes and the dessert pizzas were our fave. Will definitely be back :)
Surprisingly super cool vibe! Great concept. All of the pizzas I tried were delicious. Huge variety. The charcuterie platter to start is more of a big pile of arugula salad with a little meat and cheese but it and the included lobster bisque were also very good.
Food was very good, Service was also very good. Waited only a short time once we arrived for our reservation. The person seating us (also the owner) was the only one seating people and badly needed an additional person to assist on a busy Saturday night. It is very loud, but a lot of fun, fun atmosphere and certainly a repeater!
Came here on a Saturday night, reservation for 6 at 8:30. Been to Quill, one of the concepts prior to Delucca in the same space, and this is by far more enjoyable.
Delucca is the Texas de Brazil of Pizza places. You flip your card to green and they bring around pizzas, by the tiny slice. You’ll be hard-pressed to eat $20 worth. The charcuterie board and cup of lobster bisque does not go far either, each of us having a piece of cheese, a piece of meat and some arugula each. Not sure if we were supposed to receive seconds? This differs from the other Brazilian concepts where the massive salad bar is stock piled and readily available. We watched the young, sweet waitstaff get overwhelmed by the amount of patrons, and forget to serve our table for about 15 minutes. When this was brought to our waitress’ attention she was a superstar!! Compensated us with glasses of wine and we had pizza first pick from the oven. They have a long list of pizzas on the menu, we saw about 5 at our table. So there’s no way to know what you’ll be served. I think it’s important to note that their Hostess was also a superstar, I know it is not easy handling crowd that large. Overall it was an interesting evening, the buildout is gorgeous, acoustics too loud for easy conversation... worth the money? Probably not.
Delucca is CiCi’s Pizza for grown ups! Very bland and cheap ingredients (I think it was boiled chicken on one pizza!) and TINY servings. Sure, it’s “all you can eat” but you would have to wave the server over 15 times just to get full! I guess that’s why it’s $20 a person. Still, charge me $40 and give me good food. Horrible service to boot. Won’t be a second visit for us.
Such a great concept—a Brazilian steakhouse-style type of dining, but for PIZZA! The pizza was so good! I am definitely coming back and have recruited friends and family!
My third time to bring friends here. Unless you are seated in the main dining area, you get overlooked and get only a fraction of the food choices available. The place has a great vibe but they need to work on a few service issues.
i am in my late sixties and the noise level was far more than i would ever accept at a restaurant of this style. our hostess seated us promptly and our waitress came by and asked if we had ever been there before (we hadn't) and explained how it worked. she then asked if we would like a drink which we did, but before they were brought to our table our first course was brought to us. then the different pizzas started coming. due to the noise level we often didn't hear the type of pizza and had to ask the waiters to repeat it, sometime several times over. we were going to have wine with our dinner but never could quite catch the eye of our waitress. we soon ran out of water (bottle of water, half full, was brought after our original drink order came) and asked one of the pizza waiters if we could get some more. our table waitress brought a new bottle and disappeared just as fast. we then started telling the pizza waiter no when they asked if we wanted to try what they were offering, waiting for the dessert pizzas, which never came by. finally i caught our waitress's eye and motioned check. that she was quick with. i would have left almost no tip but i assumed the pizza waiters shared tips and i didn't want to stiff them. the ambiance is that of a upscale restaurant but the noise level was louder than McDonald's (i keep mentioning the noise level, sorry) and we had less room than at a McDonald's. this dinner was to celebrate my wife's sixty-first birthday and she went home with a headache. while we enjoyed the different styles of pizza and the idea behind the style of the restaurant we won't go back.
I decided to try Delucca for my birthday dinner this year. From the moment we walked in the door we felt uneasy about how the night was going to go. There was a line down the hallway and the hostess stand was completely unattended. When we finally gave our reservation we were asked to stand to the side and waited another 10 minutes until we were seated. During this time we heard one host quote a party a wait-time of 39 minutes and then the next one quote them a time of 3 hours.
When we got to our table, which was basically in the service station, we waited a very long time to be greeted by anyone. Once we were our waiter was not very informative of the concept or how the night should operate. After this encounter we only saw the waiter 2 more times the entire night. We ordered a bottle of wine which took forever to get to us and he never came back to pour after the first glass.
The concept overall sounds great on paper, but once you’re inside and dining you can’t help but feel like you are eating in complete and utter chaos. There seemed to be no method to the madness.
The pizza itself was fine, not the best I’ve ever had by any means. I can’t comment on the lobster bisque it says online we were supposed to have, because no one ever brought it.
I don’t think I will be going back here, but I’m glad I tried it.
When we first came in, we were immediately seated at a four seat table right in front of the restrooms in a dark corridor. I hated the location, and asked if we could have a drink at the bar, or wait somewhere for a better seat in the main restaurant. They talked to the manager, and we were immediately seated in a nice area at the front of the restaurant. The food was great, and we had a nice bottle of wine. The dessert pizzas with blackberries and the one with Nutella were great. We will definitely be back.
So good! The dessert pizza topped the whole experience.
Great concept, good pizza, great service, little loud. Not great for those hard of hearing. They need to install some sound reduction tools in main hallway. If on first date/hard of hearing, request a table next to the host stand.
We had gone in when the restaurant first opened and there was a 2 1/2 hour wait, so I decided to make reservations two weeks ahead expecting everything to be a wonderful experience. Upon arrival our hostess seemed to be overwhelmed with so many patrons and we were asked our names for our reservations four times within the 15 minutes we waited for our table and felt somewhat dismissed each time. The pizza selection was outstanding and the table service for the pizza was quick and very professional. Our waitress was very nice, but could have been much more attentive as in our our hour and ten minutes there were were only checked on once for our beverage order. The quality of the pizza was outstanding, but the lobster bisque was forgotten and when reminded of it and it was finally brought to us, it was rather bland. The dessert selection was very good, but when asked if they would be coming back with more, we were never approached with more. Overall I give the food outstanding and the service average to below average. We will give the restaurant one more try in the future.
Always an exceptional experience! We drive from FRISCO/McKinney border specifically to go to this restaurant. Please come North!!
Loved the space and decor. Pizza was good with lots of choices. Hope it makes it.
It was my first time going, and wow my wife and I enjoyed it. Everything was great
Phenomenal food and atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
amazing atmosphere, wonderful attentive staff, the food is simply amazing and the signature drink is like heaven and a little stiff. I loved it so much I'm planning a bday dinner here in two weeks.
Hands down best Dining experience for the price. The service was exceptional and the food was fantastic. Definitely going back in the future!
I felt rushed to leave for most of my dinner and our waitress seemed to have no interest in coming to our table to bring us our drinks or check in on us. We also didn’t really get the all you can eat pizza exerience to try the pizzas we wanted to try.
This place is awesome. It’s really worth the value of the $20 flat rate. The pizza was awesome, especially the dessert pizzas. I loved the design and the ambiance of this restaurant!
They never disappoint!!
Wonderful new dining concept for Dallas, and VERY welcomed! Good quality was spot on. The level of elegance delivered by this restaurant is spot on and the added value price point is more than fair! Highly recommended and authenticated by my Brazilian husband! :0) I can see this place becoming a mainstay of the design district 👍
Delucca was a fun experience but I won't go back. It was too loud! Pizza was good but not enough variety or unique options... The cocktails were great! But service is pretty slow... we waiting a long time after getting there before getting drinks, pizza or starters.
Wanderleia and her staff were very friendly. The salad was delicious, great variety of pizzas and the dessert pizzas were wonderful! It was our first time there and we will go back asap!
The Service at Delucca is truly outstanding. Although it was a packed house that night, the attendants always made you like you were heard on any request. The food was very good. And the atmosphere is second to none - great mix of new and old in the decor; definitely the place to see and be seen. Can’t wait for the Fort Worth location to open.
It was a great experience. The price of drinks were very reasonable and all you can eat pizza for $20 was great value.
Great overall experience. Staff walked by and check in several times throughout dinner. Food was awesome. Will be back with friends!
Excellent quality and taste
We will definitely return soon, BTW great place
For large groups
Great concept. Pizza generally good. Eating time can be lengthy-when we were half way through dinner they switched to only dessert pizza. We had to wait 15 min or more for them to switch back to regular pizza. Dessert pizza was good though. Wine list by glass was expensive, unimaginative and generally disappointing. I purchased a $22 glass of wine. I was not shown the pour or the bottle, and it was warm.
Super unorganized when you arrive, lots of people waiting even though they had reservations. Bar service was pretty bad...amazing once seated. We stayed for 3 hours. Incredible pizza and fun atmosphere
Great place - food, customer service all wonderful My only suggestion would be to add more veggie pizza selections. We can’t wait to go back!!
The overall experience was great! The food and the ambiance was amazing. The noise level was loud as it became more packed. As far as the service, our waiter Marco was great. However, the reason why I didn’t give the service 5 stars is because our tab was closed out and our check was brought to our table without asking if we were ready for the check. We were waiting for the dessert pizzas to come around and was also planning to order more rounds of beer and wine. This made us feel like we were being rushed out. We did not ask for the check because we were not ready but we were not asked if it was ok to close out our tab and bring the check either.
We love it! Definitely more than your average pizza night.
It’s a Brazilian steak house (Churrascaria) for pizza. Each table is served a charcuterie plate and then waiters come by with different pizzas ranging from pepperoni to lamb to chicken tikka and barbecue etc. pizza is decent and the setting is fun and upscale. Can’t help thinking it’s just a more posh pizza buffet but it’s fun for casual dinners and get-togethers.
Saw that they just started opening for lunch. Been wanting to go, but decided to wait. It did not disappoint! This place is amazing!! Great tasting pizza and lobster bisque. Super amazing ambiance and service! Well worth the $20. Friend had the same experience after going for dinner. Dinner has a long wait if you don't get the reservation. This place is going to do extremely well!!!
This is so much fun! Fantastic food and service! Wine prices are better than liquor store!! Love it!!
