Delta's Ratings and Reviews
Something out of a movie! Each area throughout has its own classy/ trendy vibe. The food does not need a drop of seasoning just dig right on in and enjoy every bite! The staff is A1, location is perfect and i live in Philly and have no problem taking that 1 1/2 hour ride for a 2 hour dinner date there. I ALWAYS praise Delta's to the point you would think i had stock in the business. That band tho..........they are the TRUTH and it made my date's first experience there beyond memorable! I've made up my mind that at least 1 thursday EVERY MONTH that i make it my business to be there! Just know that all the way in Philly you guys have a promoter!
This place is lively during the weekends because of the live bands. Even though I had a reservation, it took a while to seat the two of us. It's a small place, but super popular. The food was on point, unfortunately my particular catfish was super salty. Everything else was fantastic. Would love to try the catfish and their food again. Collard greens were to die for. Hush puppies and fried okra were awesome.
Service was a little lacking, but to be expected when there are so many people. The waiter was super nice about the catfish and offered to have it remade but I was more than happy to just eat the sides. The Delta's tastin appetizer is HUGE. I got full just eating that. All in all, would love to go there again.
Unfortunately, the food was just off. Four of us ordered the fried chicken which was over fried, hard and tasteless. The collard green dip was tasty, but too cheesy. The short ribs were the best of the night, although they were too fatty. And our waiter looked like he hadn't showered in a few days.
My girlfriend and I was there to celebrate my birthday, although we have been once before. This visit was nothing like our first visit, at all!! Our first visit was awesome, everything about it!! But this visit was extremely horrible, except the food of course!! Our waiter was very rude and disrespectful the entire hour and a half we was there. We spoke to the manager about his behavior and I will not be seated upstairs again with him as the waiter!! Great place in general.
I went to Delta's for an intimate anniversary celebration. We made a reservation but due to unforseen circumstances we missed our reservation time. Upon arrival the host and hostess were very accommodating. We were seated immediately and as I remembered the food, drinks, music and ambiance were on point! Thank you Delta's!
I went here with a small group for a birthday dinner. The food was excellent. Live music was a great treat but with our table right next to the band, it was nearly impossible to hear each other talking. The noise level was probably less bothersome for patrons on the second level or further from the band but it definitely dampened our celebration a bit.
Our group had a wonderful time at Delta's. The food was delicious and the atmosphere and live music were awesome. My husband mentioned it was our friend's birthday and our waitress, who was great, brought him and ice cream Sunday. The singer even gave him a shout out. We had a marvelous evening.
LOVED Deltas. Was pleasantly surprised by the live jazz band performing on the lower level. I had the smothered turkey winds That was a risk for me because I’ve had wings that were undercooked or rubbery and I like them very tender. They were cooked to perfection!
We sat near the bar and unfortunately our server was also the bartender. This prevented her from being attentive and circling back to check on us.
Other than that it was great!!!
Best soul food I have eaten in a restaurant! Attentive service, well crafted cocktails, beautiful ambiance and attractive patrons. I can't wait to go back. Highly recommend! Only drawback was since it was a Saturday night the WBLS station was there and the music started blaring at like 11pm. My friends and I couldn't hear each other talk as we finished our meal.
My Queen and I were celebrating our second anniversary. I wanted to take her someplace special and unique. Somewhere she had never been to before. I had been to Deltas some time ago, I really enjoyed it and I thought that she might like it too. I was right! She really had a wonderful time. We both enjoyed the cusine, the martinis and the band was extraordinary. Our waitress was very attentive and made sure that our experience was a pleasant one. Thank you Delta for making our anniversary a memorable one.
My family had brunch at Delta's this past weekend. We had four adults and two children age 3 with us. The restaurant offered valet for $15 however for that cost, our car was parked right in front of the restaurant so we didn't need them to valet for us and when we retrieved our car, they simply handed me the keys and had parked our cars so close behind one another that it was difficult to leave our spots without risking hitting a car. That was a rip off. Then, we could not be seated at our table for 6 until all were there despite me pointing to two of our party on the long valet line. When we were seated we were given kids menus and went through efforts to figure out meals for the two kids. After we ordered we were told the kids menu is not available so that threw a wrench in our meal. Then the waiter came back again after about 10 minutes of us ordering to tell us that at brunch for the first seating at 12pm the eggs benedict was unavailable. this is unheard of and unacceptable for brunch. were they out of eggs? Canadian bacon? hollandaise sauce?? it made no sense at all. Then, we waited for our food which was mostly egg orders for over 35 minutes and that was after both snafus with the menus and items not available. A hostess came around asking if our meal was ok and we hadn't even had it. She did comp a glass of wine which I will note but overall, very disappointing. They are not customer friendly and the valet was a rip off adding insult to injury.
I booked online and had to add 1 other person and was able to call in and add. It was 1st Friday so they required my cc and I was driving so advised someone would call me in a few days. We ended up downgrading to 6 when they called but at the end of the night ended up with 7 again so we just had another chair and place setting brought over, no biggie. A few of us were there since happy hour and waited for the others for dinner. Food was good, greens were too salty so replaced with cabbage. Our drinks were great at the bar but once upstairs we all ordered The Lady Killer again but it just taste like juice, not good at all and didn’t look the same as when we were at the bar. Other then that we had a great time. We frequent here often. We missed Sean that night. He told us he’d be working when we were here last week but he wasn’t there. My friends didn’t care for the bartender too much.
My friends as well as myself had an amazing time and experience . This was not my first time at this restaurant but it was for my friends and they absolutely loved it . The music was great, the food was delicious and our server James was out of this world incredible.
I have always liked Deltas. Been there many times. I am also a fan of Valerie Adams and Dimension. She is great. The food was good, service excellent. My friend whom we were
celebrating enjoyed it. She lost her home to a fire and is battling cancer. So the girls decided to take her out. She truly enjoyed. Thanks
Delta's is was one of my favorite restaurants when visiting New Brunswick, NJ. The food, service, drinks, price and ambiance always meet my expectations. It was a couple of our friends first time for brunch and they absolutely loved it! I must bring them back for dinner and jazz night.
Restaurant was extremely busy (typical Saturday evening), but they had about half the amount of waitstaff required for their volume. The food was about average, not bad but not particularly memorable either. It took about 25 min to submit our drink order and the slow service continued from there. It was not our waiters fault, he was pulled in 45 different directions and was pleasant to deal with.
