   1st time there. Very impressed with food. Yams, mac and cheese and cornbread tasted home cooked. Host was very hospitable. Will be going back.

   Had a phenomenal time once again at Delta's. Last time I was celebrating my mother's birthday about four years ago (which turned out to be a month before she died) and this time I was celebrating my college graduation. This place has become very special to me and my family. Thanks for continuing to provide a great place for families and friends to gather and celebrate!

   Usually I love this place but sunday I was disappointed by the limited meal. I drove over an hour and wanted to get an app to go and was told no. The waitress seemed like she was high on something. She would disappear for long periods of times and she kept forgetting things, mumbling things and laughing and suggested a disgusting drink that I had to return. I didn’t want a substitute but was told I could not have a refund only a different drink. Then my pork chops were fried too long and tasted burnt. I didn’t want to return it so I asked for gravy hopefully to make it taste better but nope. It was hard to chew and tasted burnt still. I want to give them another chance so I didn’t give a 1 star rating because this was the first time this has happened but I am very disappointed. I wanted to speak to a manager but they were so busy I didn’t want to be a bother.

   Deltas used to be one of my favorites! Not having been there in a few years i was excited to return. Sadly, I was so disappointed. The food was terrible! I had to send my catfish back, it honestly looked like tilapia and had this terrible fishy taste. my friends ribs had zero taste, the catfish fingers were really salty and the calamari was hard. Even the Mac and cheese was dry and the greens weren’t even cut. A The waitress gave us our bottle of water without opening the cap, we had to ask for a bottle opener. Everyone was nice but i definitely will not be returning again.

    Love the food but unfortunately where we sat as soon as you are at the top of the stairs 2nd floor next to a window and brick wall a table that sat 2 there were bugs. I honestly believe the 2 tables on the 2nd floor that sits 2 should not be positioned there Right by the stairs by the brick wall and window. Looks like they were put there to be able to sit more people. The waiters serving the tables next to us did not serve us a waiter that works the area downstairs did which I found odd. Why couldn’t the waiters serving all the other tables serve the table we were at? I asked our waiter she said she work Downstairs and the table we were at and the one behind us both sits 2 were her tables. That should be looked at. Anyway Asked to be moved but was told we could not. Overall I love the food but I think deltas should reconfigure the sitting arrangements upstairs. I know you want to get as many guest as possible but don’t make your guest uncomfortable. Next time I’ll ask for a specific area to be seated in! Still love the place just have to do better with sitting!

    Food was okay. Our entrees were a little bland but overall our food was decent. I would go back. Our server was Jada. She was nice. The live band was really good. Only thing is we wish we were closer to the band and not upstairs in a corner.

    My second time coming here with my family. We enjoyed the food the first time, the service was great our server I forgot her name but she was great. Our recent visit was good as well however the waiter we had her name was Jada she was nice but she seem distracted and not on point. She forgot my sisters drink and my Mothers drink. She didn’t check on us that much to ensure the food and service was ok. However I’d still recommend this place to friends and family.

    The food was seasoned very well. I love the dipping sauce for the appetizer. Dinner was great for a holiday set menu. I usually don’t go out to eat for holidays, but was happy that I did. I will definitely take time out of my busy schedule for brunch.

    The ambience is amazing. As well as the service. The food however was mediocre. The entrees weren’t seasoned. The collard greens just seemed to be boiled/simmered. The fried whiting also had no seasoning. Just battered and fried. I enjoyed the appetizers more than the main dishes. I would only go back for the atmosphere, service, drinks and apps.

    Look at your check closely. They add 20% gratuity (at the bar and to your dinner check) and then give you a credit card slip with a line for a tip.

    1. Waiter took 30 mins to bring us 2 cans of sanpelligrino. 2. Buffalo wings were good. 3. Order fried turkey chops, Mac and cheese, collard greens and black eyed peas. . Turkey chops unseasoned and fried to hard. Collard greens had consistency of creamed spinach and Mac and cheese was baked earlier and rebake in a poi ramekin which caused it to be very sloppy and soft. 4. Black eyed peas were canned and flour was added to give it a soup like texture. 5. Then after all of that the credit card machine stop working. I have to leave my date and drive to 7/11 to get money from the atm. Funny thing about the whole night after we picked through the food I asked the waitress if she eat the food they served she laughs and said “hell no”. Two other parties sitting behind and aside of us complained about the food and service. We all began to have running jokes about the place. That went on for about 20 mins.

    Reservation was made 30 days in advance. I asked a question no one ever responded on open table. The question that was asked was : what does the restaurant do for birthday’s. Upon arrival We did not receive a warm welcome and wait 10 mins to seated . It was OUR FIRST TIME at Delta’s. My daughters and I were celebrating my husband/ father’s birthday. The service was okay just a slower than other places. The food was okay. Once we finished up With dinner. Unfortunately I had to ask the waitress in front of my husband what do they do for birthday. SMH!!!!! Then sends over the manager and basically no answer but says we have dessert. The inconvenience of the credit card machine not working and the manager had the nerve ask for me leave my information so the can process the transaction the next day. There was no outages in New Brunswick. I had to leave and go out to get cash. You would think when I came back the manager will make it right and offer dessert on the house or even the appetizers nope nothing! The nerve for the restaurant to charge 20% gratuity is crazy. We had party of 4 people only.

    Service was horrible due to an extremely rude and unprofessional waitress. I Know this is unusual for Delta. But still worth noting. The food was of lesser quality than my previous visit. I hope that Delta improves as I had known it to be an exceptional restaurant in the past

    I went out with my mother and one year old son. Total came out to $176, got a itemized receipt (had to ask for it) drove back and realized they charged us for over four items of things. Waitress was called down, by receptionist she did not want to come down. Receptionist told me I wasn’t charged TD bank and the receipt said otherwise. No empathy or anything I didn’t want to go off I was calm. I was told I will be charged 112. TD bank did not get these charges just the 176. Customer service is well needed here. I guess the waitress purposely charged me because she didn’t want to come down for a explanation or anything.

    Be careful with your bill! More on that, below. First: the service was absolutely awful. After being seated for 10 minutes, we had to ask the host to send someone over. 25 minutes later, we finally got a drink. We asked for a salad ahead of the main course. It all came together. The lettuce was wilted and gross - they took it off the bill. THE BILL: the menu states "20% gratuity added." The bill came with our 2 drinks and 2 food items. No gratuity. I gave my card. The bill comes back without the itemized bill. The bill is now approx $10 higher. There is a line to add the tip. I asked to see the itemized bill. It NOW shows the almost $10 automatic gratuity. Very, very deceptive! People can easily be misled to add a tip when the 20% was already added on - but it was hidden on the first itemized bill but then was added on to the non-itemized credit card bill. The ambiance is beautiful. The food was good, not great. The small jambalya had ONE shrimp. LOL. We'll never go back. Hopefully, others will learn to be super careful looking at their checks!

    i had the chicken and waffles which came with 2 sides, it was amazing. The mimosa deal for brunch was also really good. You got a bottle of champagne and juice for $15. Overalls music, service and food was 10/10

    I take issue with my bill being automictically charged a 20% gratuity for a party of only 5. Especially since I didn't notice this until after I had left and had already tipped 20%. (my bad for not noticing before hand) they really should be ashamed of this practice. Considering the nuisance of the parking situation (the best way to to park is to use valet) and the tip thing. I don't think it's worth it. Overall the food was good the service was very good and the overall ambiance of the place was nice. I wish we were able to hear the band more. This was the main reason why I picked this place because we wanted the live music experience as we ate . We were seated upstairs so you couldn't experience the band the way we expected. Maybe a live feed upstairs may help.
