3rd time at Delores in the last 6 months or so. The food is always excellent, and our server on the 3rd visit had the perfect balance of professionalism & friendliness. A great dining experience all the way around.
Great potato pancakes, spacious, good music, server was very nice
Great food, service, and atmosphere. Would recommend.
The food was absolutely delicious! We loved everything we tried- potato pancakes, golabki, kopytka, and kielbasa. I wish I had more room to try the pierogies as well. The atmosphere was fun but not chaotic or loud.
Food and service were great, however the music was too loud, hard to talk without yelling.
We tested Delores during Dining Month and were absolutely thrilled.
The food tasted delicious, from salad to meat dishes everything was great. Same counts for their drink menue and the cocktails served.
We are fans and will come back.
Went for Portland dining month and the service was amazing. I loved the perogis and caviar dip. Shout out to the back of the house as well!
We waited 40 min past our reservation time, but they kindly provided a complimentary appetizer. Our waiter was great and very friendly, it was just too bad his female coworker was a little more stressed out. Food came out in a well-timed manner. We would definitely go again - hopefully by then they'll figure themselves out and try to differentiate their vibe from Kachka's.
Service was fantastic, ambiance was good, food was good. Would go back and try other menu items!
Portland Dining Month
We went for Portland Dining Month and will definitely be back. I expected traditional Polish fare, and was pleasantly surprised with a top notch gourmet menu. The food was fantastic, large portions, great drinks and wines, and very professional server who was obviously enthusiastic about the offerings. The plating was lovely also. Chic decor in a good area with parking in back and nearby.
I am Polish and wasn't brought back to my childhood with the flavors. However, the food was good.
Excellent polish restaurant with eclectic decor. We went for brunch and ordered coffee, potato pancakes, kielbasa sausage that was deliciously crispy on the outside, and potato and cheese pierogis. It wasn’t too busy at brunch - no wait and low noise - and the service was great. We can’t wait to be back.
So delicious! Loved the stroganoff toast, Golabki, and potato cheese pierogies. And that Buraczany cocktail with beet infused polish vodka was amazing. Definitely going back!
The music was a bit loud for such an intimate spot. We really enjoyed the prix fixe Monday menu and the concept based on Grandma's recipes. In fact, I think that this menu is better than some of their other stylized dishes. Yum!
Best brunch I’ve ever had!
Great favors and friendly service
Love this place, great food and service. Music is great too!
The food was amazing, we loved every dish! Highly recommend it and will be coming back soon!
We were a party of 5 and so we ordered pretty much everything on menu. The service was great and the food was outstanding. Great flavors. We all will be back.
We all loved the food. The service was mediocre. My friend ordered a kettle one martini. At which point the server asked, "Is that vodka?". She then gave us a list of the vodkas they offered. My friend ordered a martini with two olives, and said bartender's choice for the vodka. I ordered a Hendricks on the rocks with a cucumber if available or a lemon twist. The martini had one olive, my drink had a lime. Not a huge deal, but they also weren't complicated drink requests. The Brussels sprouts, cabbage rolls and duck confit pierogi were all fantastic. At no point did our server check in with us to ask us how we were doing. She wasn't rude, just very inattentive. The food runners were far more attentive. Maybe she was just having an off night. Luckily, it's a cool spot and we had a great night hanging out and the food was delicious!
This place is awesome. Food was amazing.
Ambiance was fantastic; server, attentive, prompt and funny; the Pierogis however were just mehhh. Our other food was delicious, yet I cannot shake the mehhhh Pierogis.
Monday was a set menu and it included all the greatest hits of the Delores menu with the addition of the most amazing Borsht I have ever tasted! The cocktails were creative and perfectly balanced, ALL bottles of wine were 1/2 off and our server was a true pro! He was knowledge - fun and just the right amount of ‘being there’. We will definitely go again and we can’t wait to go back and try the brunch menu! This is a true gem!
I booked this location to try something new for my wife and I. I was slightly concerned when we arrived and no one else was in the restaurant. We met our waiter, Adam who was absolutely fantastic. He gave us great recommendations and the food was awesome. Although the menu is not large everything we had was wonderful. We will be returning often to this location!
Walked in and took about 5 minutes to get greeted. Kitchen staff was standing around talking during that 5+ minutes which was confusing, because they weren't doing any form of cooking or meal preparation. The food though came out right away as soon as we placed our order and the food did not taste fresh at all. Like it was made beforehand and then microwaved up. Would make sense because I never saw the cooks actually cooking the food since I got there. I don't think I saw any of the servers smile once. It was just an overall poor experience. Don't plan on coming back.
Great place to eat. The flavors were outstanding.
Dinner was amazing. Highly recommend getting the caviar to start and all of the pirogues to share.
Such a good place to grab brunch with one or two friends!
Great food and service. Music however was too loud and contrary to ambience. However, I will return as the food is wonderful.
Unique and great food. Good ambience. Reasonable price. Great unique alcoholic drinks.
Our server, Adam, was exceptional!!! The salmon with cauliflower and warm truffle broth was absolutely fantastic in every way! Will return for sure!
Adam our server was great and very helpful with choosing a wine bottle. We'll be back.......
My husband liked the pierogies, but the potato pancake was underwhelming and greasy. I had the hash, which tasted decent, although a bit overcooked/burned, and it was extremely greasy. I feel like this place has a lot of potential, but the grease-factor was overwhelming and my stomach hurt the rest of the afternoon.
Cute place. Attentive service. Clean. The appetizers were better than the entrees and the portion sizes were all over the place. Some too big, some just right, some a bit small.
Delicious Polish food! Portions small but rich and hearty. Mushroom toast was especially good. The music was Euro-dance something and way too loud and obnoxious. Service a little slow at times but generally pretty good.
Best experience yet! Solid cocktails as always. Get the fried brussel sprouts!! I didn't take a photo since it was just brussels but they ended up being my favorite- the lemony aioli and flavorful, crunchy breadcrumbs were delicious! The tartar was creamy and very good. The perogies were made even better by being crispy on the outside with carmelized onions and bacon. Friendly staff and a great dinner on a cold winter night. We will be back!
My partner and I had an amazing meal at Delores. It was fairly quiet for a Saturday night - but I urge you to not sleep on this place! Everything we tasted was seasoned to perfection and left you wanting more. What we ordered: Mushroom Stroganoff Toast, Duck Confit Pierogies, Kopytka, and the Crispy Pork Chop with Herbed Potatoes & accompaniments. This was my second visit and won't be my last! Also recommend the Parker house rolls - so delicious!
Well worth the visit. Delicious cooked prepared and presented food. Definitely worth repeat visits. Only complaint is that it is on the expensive side.
The restaurants is beautiful yet not pretentious. Food is consistently fresh and delicious. Servers are attentive. Came here a few times for brunch. By for one the best I’ve had - without a long wait!
I grew up on the East Coast in a Polish family and it can be tough to find good Polish food out on the West Coast. This place takes the childhood favorites I grew up with (especially at holidays) and elevates them to a much higher level.
We had a party of four and ordered the rolls, potato pancakes, and little gems salad to start, followed with an order of potato perogi, kopytka, golbacki, and kielbasa. Everything was truly fantastic -- the little gems salad was a recommendation from our server and was a surprising highlight, but really, there wasn't a bad bite in the bunch. We went for one order of paczki just because they looked so good on someone else's table and would definitely recommend leaving room for those.
The four of us walked away pleasantly full and (without drinks) it was just under $30 a person. I will definitely be coming back here.
