As the sequel to the original, Delmonico's Kitchen emerges as the new kid on the block in the heart of Midtown for private dining. Our rooms, sleek bar, and dining room are steps from Broadway, Madison Square Garden and Penn Station making an ideal location for special events
View Private Dining Detailsthe steak they are known for was half gristle and half streak... no one acknowledged my presence until u walked out the door. waiter couldn't be bothered as he was to involved in the who who's at the bar...... the owner.
Enjoyed the perfect steaks and attentive service
This is a very nice place with excellent meat and a friendly, attentive service.
Food was great, as usual. If you list wine on your wine menu, you should have it in stock. Shouldn't have to guess if you have it or not.
Had great appetizers and drinks before seeing the Billy Joel concert. Location was so convenient and the bartender was friendly and knowledgeable!
Hostess wonderful. Bar staff fantastic. Waiting service needs work or augmentation this close to MSG. Waiting service infrequent and slow.
It was good except that it was so noisy ...
Excellent restaurant. Food was perfect as was ambiance.
The server was great! However the overall atmosphere was VERY underwhelming and the food was just okay for the premium price. If you want to splurge on a steak dinner you’d be better off somewhere else.
When I booked to this restaurant I was hoping for more of an experience especially when they advertise it being the oldest steakhouse in NYC. Don't get me wrong the food was good but it wasn't as good as I had hoped. It was an awfully expensive meal. In addition we were sat in the back of the restaurant where there really was no ambiance. There are probably a hundred other steakhouses out there that are a little less expensive that would probably be a better experience. In addition we had even notified the restaurant ahead of time that we were celebrating the 50th anniversary of my parents. Not one person acknowledged this which was a bit disappointing. We went to smaller scale and less expensive restaurants every single one of those acknowledge that the reason for a visit
Not as good as the many great steak houses in nyc. Bacon and onion rings are really good, the steaks were really average. Go only if u have to be at MSG
Limited cocktail menu. Ordered Porter house for 2 and Tomahawk, both were over cooked. Original location was better.
Went here for our anniversary prior to seeing a play. We had the seafood tower (small) and the Delmonico's steak. Everything was delicious! Would return.
Food is always excellent at delmonico's, but what it makes the difference here is the people. All servers and especially the managers are amazing. They welcome you with a great smile and they make you feel at home. Their steak is amongst the ones I love the most in town and their cheesy hashbrowns...delicious! The groupon coupon cut the bill a little bit and makes this place even more appealing.
Great time
This place offers a great setting for a business lunch. Service is efficient, menu has something for everyone. Easy to carry on a conversation during the dining experience. Wait staff is attentive and professional
Convenient for pre-concert at MSG but very expensive
Dinner was quite tasty. Our server was very accommodating to it being a pre-theater dinner, as our food was timed perfectly. He was very distracted and frazzled by the number of tables he had that evening. The restaurant is VERY loud though and there was quite a high level of noise. Definitely not recommended for a quiet, romantic dinner.
Food was very good. Poor service. Very commercial feel. Noisy. Hectic feel.
Service was attentive, but not pushy or invasive. They asked when our show was so they knew how to pace the meal perfectly. Food was AMAZING and the portions were perfect. Modern and fun interior, perfect for a date night, and not at all stuffy or pretentious. Will definitely return before the next show or event in the area.
excellent ! treated like kings! thank you
While the food was very good. The service was abysmal. Clearly the wait staff was inexperienced as we had two different waiters and neither knew what the other one was doing. Took an hour to take our initial order. Our $120 seafood tower came out half empty I had to send it back to be filled. Despite all this I would give it another try because I believe anybody can have a bad day. The overall the ambience was very nice and the food was good when we finally got it.
excellent service and food. love the old school waiters in shirts and ties. classic steakhouse. by 9pm on a Tuesday, the place was cleared out. It's definitely for after work early 'work' dinners, expense accounts etc.
Great food, service and atmosphere.
just never disappoints. Another consistent great meal. we each had one of the 'market choice' specials for a Saturday night. Hard to know which was better, the bone-n filet mignon or the bone-in veal chop. great food at a fair price. try it!
For a business meeting we decided on Steakhouse burgers. The selection of toppings were excellent as were the fries. The bun was good but a little oversized. The burger was nothing to write home about. It was just OK. There was an off-putting taste to the burger on first bite which turned out to be the stalk of the lettuce. Overall, the Kitchen is a place I love for business meetings, but alas not for burgers.
Delicious and a good value as top steakhouses go. Will definitely return.
one of my favorite restaurants in NYC for business and pleasure
Fair service. Perfectly cooked risotto. Crab cake burnt on one side. Good DK potatoes. Good cream of asparagus soup. Tasty chocolate souffle and baked Alaska.
The waiter was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.
The food was very good, but they have so many 2/person tables squeezed along a wall that we had to move our table in order to navigate between the table next to us. Without much effort, we could hear the conversations at the tables on either side of us.
Service was extremely quick, so we had no problem meeting our pre-theater time schedule.
It was a farewell party we had there of party of 8. Service was good, but they didn’t do anything special such as writing congratulations or sth on the dessert plate . It seemed like a everyday dinner. Wish they would’ve done something more special or at least ask. I have made the reservation on open table and have mentioned it there. Spent over $900 wasn’t even the issue . It’s okay , I’d personally prefer the Delmonicos down by Wall Street .
Tremendous overall experience at Delmonico’s Kitchen....kudos to Dennis and his entire team!!!! Go to place in Midtown Manhattan for me and my guests!!
Attentive and friendly service.
Perfect ribeye steaks!
The service was wonderful
Great menu and a fabulous venue. The service was excellent and the waiter was very knowledgeable.
Food was flawless, every dish was delicious. Most professional Waiter, knew the menu , made great recommendations and attentive, but not intrusive. I will return next time I am in the city. It is not cheap,
But then you get what you pay for. Sitting by the window, looking out to a cold winter rain with a well made cocktail, could not think of a better way to spend a Saturday night.
We had the Delmonico steak, steak frittes, mushroom soup, crab cake and potatoes, onions and sauteed mushrooms.
Wonderful steak and excellent service
Great Delmonico steak! Love this place! Never disappoints.
Great food and service. Did NYC restaurant week menu and definitely a great value.
