No longer on OT they say. Not sure why. Food was fine. Sister restaurant l'Atusi is better.
I love Dell’Anima!! It is one of my favorite spots in the Village! Even though my husband and I are foodies and like to try new places, we try and go to Dell’Anima whenever we can! The atmosphere is casual, the service is impeccable and of course the food is always amazing! Haven’t had a meal that I didn’t love! This time we had duck confit, fried gnocchi with rabbit, duck Marsala and branzino in parchment. Probably the best fish dish I have had in a while! Highly recommend it if you are a fish person. The pastas are all great and whatever the specials are get them! We will be
Mother Daughter Trip to NYC
Our favorite restaurant!!
Great vibe. Pasta came out a little cold. Otherwise, fun ambiance!
Dope, thank you for the great meal!! 🚀🚀🚀
Very good food. Atmosphere was lively and quaint.
Great food. Great ambience. Shame we were sat at table in a corridor by the bar (until we were moved). Other than this, strongly recommend!
the restaurant was small and nicely appointed but very noisy .
the food tended to be spicier than I usually find italian food and just ok
Excellent food. No one should be disappointed.
What a wonderful dining experience with some of the most divine Italian food in NYC. Can’t recommend enough.
Came back for a second time to celebrate an early Valentine's Day dinner. The service was horrible and the waitress was not helpful. Food was excellent, but removing this from our short list of go-tos. We had a better experience wandering in off the street and dining at the bar than we did making a reservation and formally sitting down.
Good food, good service. We shared the Pappardelle and Tagliattelle, both were done perfectly and soo good. Followed with the Venison, medium rare, loved every bite!!! We will dine here again...
Always phenomenal food and the chefs table/bar experience is my favorite in NYC
Excellent all around.
I had mushrooms and polenta brunch, and it was delicious! Great for friends' get-together to really catch up as the restaurant is not noisy, and you can actually have a conversation without having to scream at each others! Staff were friendly and helpful, and they did not rush us. Had a really relaxing Sunday brunch. Definitely going back for more of those pleasant experiences!
Wonderful experience as always :)
Always a fantastic meal at dell'anima - never disappoints!
Great food and bartenders.
I liked this place, but it was a bit too loud for my taste on a Thursday night at 845PM. Despite making a reservation we still had to wait almost 20 minutes and then what made matters worse, they asked us to move during our appetizers to seat a bigger group. They comped a friend's drink, but still would have preferred not to move. The appetizers were ok. We ordered some bruschetta and some quail. The pasta was better and the main courses were the highlight of the meal. My venison was excellent. My friend's duck was also very good. Dessert was ok.
Food was mediocre.
Always excellent. It's hard to rival the simplicity and flawless execution of this place.
The food was superb. Seating is very, shall we say, cozy... but the meal more than made up the proximity to the next table. The fried gnocchi was amazing. A wonderful place!
Fun vibe, best pasta, outstanding service!
Made a reservation at the last minute, what a great choice of restaurant. From out of town and was ready to eat something elegant. Our server, Joanna, was fantastic and very helpful in the decision making. Her recommendations were spot on and even though we were one of the first reservations the restaurant filled up fast. We were served in a timely fashion and the food was wonderfully HOT. Started with the 3 Beets salad and Bruschette, delicious!! Duck leg confit was beautifully crispy and simple in preparation, hit the spot. Polenta was so creamy and a great compliment to my Rabbit entrée. Finished the dinner with cappuccino and almond cake, which was just enough. Would definitely make another reservation when back in town.
Creative and delicious menu. Staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and very polite.
The food was fantastic and we will absolutely go back. We are eager to try the sister restaurant to see if it’s as good or better than this one. The people we were with loved it as well. We stared at the wine bar next door which is amazing! Great selection of wines and the women working behind the bar new what type of wine you wanted just by describing it. We highly recommend.
This was my second visit.
My first was not memorable.
So glad I gave a second try.
Each dish, including the salad was unique, flavorful with balance.
I can't wait for my next visit - intimacy be damned!!!
been here at least 5x over the years. walked in, was pretty empty but still ignored by the hostess standing at the computer for 3 entire minutes sipping a drink despite being inches away from her.
the spreads for the toasts and the bread itself are all of lower and less fresh quality than they used to be.
my wife's pasta was same dish she had last year but instead of being flash fried gnocchi, this was deep fried.
my monkfish was exteremely undercooked. after sending it back and curious if i would get a new dish or a reheat i waited 10 minutes to be delivered a reheated dish which was inedible, it was still undercooked and rubbery, i didn't touch it.
The tajarin carbonara was the hands down best item on the menu. The pollo ai diavolo was also an amazing concoction, with an alluring crispy outside and clean white breast inside. The greens also paired nicely. Not too spicy, but enough to awaken the taste buds. The restaurant has a great date ambiance: small, cozy, and authentic. Expect about $30 a person excluding tip. Well done dell’anima. We will return soon.
my friend was visiting from Australia and we had a great time! excellent service, really enjoyed the Italian stout.
The best as always
Muy ruidoso pero vale mucho la pena
Amazing experience. Chef is incredible - kept a very stressful atmosphere very cool. And the food was delicious. The service was warm and impeccable. And the music was great.
The food is amazing like always. So delicious. We were also running 10 mins late and they were so nice about it. Have been here twice for special occasions and can't wait to go back again.
Friendly check in, seated on time. We had Tagliatelle alla Bolognes, Fried Gnocchi with rabbit, Tajarin alla Carbonara and Venison. All the pastas were fresh, perfectly done and quite tasty. The Venison was medium rare and the star of the night. Service was very good and will come back for sure!!!
Excellent experience, the food was extremely good!
Fabulous restaurant, delicious food, excellent service, great wine list. lively atmosphere, open kitchen, relaxed atmosphere, definitely coming back the next time we are in NYC.
