Service was a little slow in terms of checking on us, filling our water glasses. We had to ask for silverware when it was taken away during the salad course. Food was very good.
Really good👍
Food , cocktails, and service were all fantastic!
Beans and greens were so good I will get as my entree next time! Meatballs- delicious. Pizza-delicious! Will definitely be back. Cocktails were refreshing and unique.
Great food and fun cocktails!! Only criticism is that mask wearing was not enforced for guests walking through the restaurant.
Amazing food, service, and ambiance!
Always a fantastic evening when we go to Della Terra! The food is just fantastic. The people are wonderful. The setting is lovely and so well done.
Della Terra is perfection. Food, ambience, and service is top notch. It is fancy without being stuffy. And the wait staff is always so friendly.
Could use a bit more variety in pasta dishes at lunch.
A PHENOMENAL RESTAURANT INDEED.
EXCELLENT FOOD, DRINKS & SERVICE.
HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMENDED
Absolutely delicious! Authentic and so tasty! Service was excellent, attentive and knowledgeable but never overbearing. Can’t beat the atmosphere either.
Food made from scratch and very unique preparations. Creative
Cocktails. I would recommend. Dinner served at a leisurely pace.
Anniversary Dinner. Excellent service (Thanks Chris) and food was superb. Highly recommend the House red wine. We will definitely be back.
Loved everything, so delicious. Was disappointed that we were there at 7:15 and they were out of the special and the appetizer we wanted.
This was my first time visiting this restaurant. And all I can say is I cannot wait to come back! The atmosphere was relaxed but lively, with music playing in the background. Our waitress was so polite and sweet, and the food was incredible!! We had appetizers, pizza and pasta. I cannot wait to come back for another date night or special occasion!!
We celebrated our 40th Anniversary here and we were delighted with our waitress Julia. Our starters were the antipasto plate and fried mushroom salad. I could dream about the salad alone. My husband enjoyed his plate. The rigatoni with onions that my husband had and the pistachio pasta that I was served were beyond expectations. We had tarimisu and zappoli for desert- perfect ending!
Delicious food and excellent service! Make sure you make a reservation as they fill up quickly.
The food was delicious. We didn’t feel hurried and got to try a couple different menu items. Our waiter was great and explained the menu items to us. The antipasto platter was wonderful and the bread was outstanding. Favorite item was the homemade ricotta with honey.
Such a pretty place.... meat and cheese tray was so delicious. Meatballs were great but sauce was a little salty. Cant wait to go back!!
I enjoyed Della Terra very much. It was my first time dining there. We had a fun girl's night out. Food, drink, service and ambience were all excellent!
Supported this restaurant big time during the pandemic-both takeout and dine in. Excited to spend our anniversary night there with a specific bottle of wine that we bring and drink every anniversary for sentimental reasons. 3 weeks prior, we brought a bottle and happily paid corkage fee. Tonight, our server denied us claiming a 'new CDC' rule forbidding opening a bottle not bought from the restaurant?? First of all, CDC is federal and doesn't make restaurant / alcohol rules--the state does. 2nd, after knowing this was disappointing to us, no manager visited to apologize or explain this faux rule. Not how a regular guest should be treated. In the end, restaurant loses corkage fee as we sipped free water for our meal. Side note, we were disappointed that two items we order every visit were no longer offered. After praising Della to friends for months, even saying it surpassed Cenacola as top Italian, we are taking an indefinite break from Della.
Food and service were excellent!
It was a nice dinner and evening. This is our second time
Here and the food and atmosphere was great!
This was our first time at Della Terra and I had high expectations. The BBB cocktail was good. The meatballs and polenta fries were absolutely delicious and I was excited for my meal. I got the goat cheese ravioli (beet pasta) with raisins. The meal did not look appealing, just a soupy mess of brownish purple on my plate. It was missing brightness and crunch.
Those I dined with were extremely disappointed there was no pasta and red sauce option on the menu (such as homemade gnocchi). I understand menus are small due to covid and costs but an Italian restaurant should have at least one option to showcase their homemade sauce and pasta.
I ordered a second cocktail to go with dinner and it didn’t arrive until long after I was done eating. That’s disappointing, especially when everyone else at my table was finished so I was essentially drinking alone at that point.
I would definitely try to visit again given the opportunity (especially for the meatballs) but I do hope a few things are different next time.
Excellent food and EXCELLENT servicr
Birthday dinner at our favorite friends restaurant
They were very nice and drinks are excellent ! But they ran out of greens and pizza dough .. the pasta was ok .. no classic Italian pasta dishes and wasn’t homemade .. hard to do a fair comparison since I compare everything to Italy or Coppa in Boston where pasta is homemade but the service made it worthwhile .. hopefully when we return pizza will be available
Excellent service and excellent food! Would definitely dine here again.
Everything tasted excellent from the appetizers to salads to dinners! Dinners took a little time but our server was very quick to keep us posted and refill drinks.
Limited but frequently changing menus. Not your typical Italian food menu as makes good use of seasonal foods. Pistachio cream on pasta was delicious.
Outstandingly unique Italian “farm to table” experience. Incredibly knowledgeable and professional staff. Our waiter was thorough in his explanation of each dish, the history of the building, and the underlying focus of the restaurant’s goals to bring local foods to an elegant and inviting dining adventure. Best date night ever with my wife of 23 years. Simply exceptional and unexpectedly surprising in the small Western Pennsylvania town of Zelienople. With a menu that changes monthly, we have committed to a monthly date night and culinary adventure for the foreseeable future. Bravo!!
This place was bustling when we arrived. The atmosphere was fun, energetic, and romantic at - a great place for a date night. Our appetizer and entrees were outstanding, and dessert was good, but left a little to be desired. We had the meatballs, goat cheese raviolis, and the cavatelli pasta with sausage. For dessert we had tiramisu.
Looking for a new resto to try? Give Della Terra a go! Their pastas, pizzas and cocktails are delish and the ingredients are locally sourced! Chris was our server and he took care of us very well for the evening. Definitely going back again. Plus, the building has a long history in the area.
Food was good. Menu is limited not much variety. Pricey
Celebrated a friend’s 81st birthday. Food and service was outstanding as always.
We had been told by several people about this out of the way restaurant, so we tried it. Food was very good, but menu is very limited. Pasta and Pizza basically. Greens and beans were excellent. Pizza was very good.
Problem was, service was extremely slow. As frequent diners-out, that does not normally bother us if the server keeps us informed on progress and if the food is great. On our visit, we arrived at 7:05, did not get waited on for 10 minutes. We ordered wine and when it came we ordered our food around 7:20. Salad and greens and beans took 30 minutes to arrive. Pizza another 30 minutes. Took almost 90 minutes for a salad, greens and beans and pizza and our server showed up at our table a total of 2 times. That was our issue. No communication whatsoever.
There is no children’s menu and the menu was very limited. Selection for food was poor!
The interior of the restaurant was a marvel. The wait staff great at explaining the various dishes. Every one at Della Terra so welcoming.
I had the Lemon pasta -fab. and my husband had Campanella which he liked very much.
It was good but not great. Limited menu is very underwhelming. Cocktail service very slow. Otherwise service was good but not great. Appetizers were excellent, entrées were just okay.
Such an enjoyable evening! Everything was wonderful
