In an attempt to honor the history of our beautiful building, the third Melon Bank ever built, we pay homage to its past! We chose period correct lighting and finishes from 1940 to bring it all together!

Della Terra which translates to “of the earth” transforms the essence of a small town eatery. Centrally located in historic downtown Zelienople, our goal is to capture the warmth and comfort of an Italian trattoria. Chefs reinterprets the bounty of the surrounding area, exploring an ingredient-driven cuisine that pulls inspiration from the Italian cooking tradition to create meaningful food, celebrating the restaurant’s ongoing relationship with its local family of farmers and suppliers.

It was a long overdue GNO and Della Terra never disappoints! Hearth bread, greens and beans (craveable!), arugula salad (also craveable!), papardelle, rigatoni in vodka sauce, tiramisu. All outstanding! Good portions and great service.

Just outstanding!! The BEST meatballs over ever had- and I’ve had ALOT. Both pizzas that we tried were delicious also. It is a bit of a drive from where we live but I am without a doubt going to return.

Della Terre never disappoints. Amazing homemade pasta and great atmosphere. We arrived in time for happy hour and enjoyed meatballs and fried artichokes, along with great entrees and shared the apple calzone for dessert.

Made a reservation on Open Table, drove 30 minutes to the restaurant to find a closed sign on the door. Tried calling but the phone just rang.

Perfect. Great and healthy food. Using olive oil for ingredients instead of seed oil is why we picked it. The taste and service is why we’ll return.
