Great 1920s environment and bar setting, but the Chardonnay glass was $28!!!!!!!
Nice, but lighting was disturbingly low.
It s not normal: the restaurant took the reservation but refused entrance because of private party in the restaurant. This is not fair. Why the restaurant was reservable on the application ? We are Very disappointed.
I will NEVER come to this place again. The etiquette and management was extremely poor. It is run by young men that care about bringing young girls in and could careless about your well being in there. I’m a mature individual that dines at 5 star restaurants all the time and the experience I had from the management blows me away. I came here with a co - worker and what killed the evening was when we were asked by the waitress what we wanted for dessert. We stated that we did not want any dessert however would love to have drinks in place of dessert. The moment we said that, we were forced to move from our table. She said there was a 2 hour time limit . We then looked at the website and this was not true. No where did it state that. Once we agreed to move to another table, we ordered drinks and then was forced to move again by the manager, this time to the bar. I did not want to move after I had paid over a $275 bill. I’ve never been asked to move in any of the high-end places I’ve ever dined at and spending money like that, especially twice in one night. At that point, we spoke to the owner and he would not do a thing for us. He said he had to turn over tables. Meanwhile this owner was taking up space at 1 table buying a group of 21 year old girls drinks and having no dinner with the girls and sitting there for about 2 hours. I cannot believe the ordasity of this place. I guarantee this place shuts down within 1 year or 2 for the bad hospitality and treatment they give to their guests . This was beyond unacceptable. This is a place for 21-35 years olds. Good luck to them trying to make their money here. They are young probably trustfund owners trying to make their money with absolutely no business sense or knowledge . I would never recommend this place . High price for low quality service. What a huge disappointment ! I suggest they get their act together and start catering to their clientele. This is not or near a class act restaurant . I suggest “Ocean Prime”
We loved Delilah’s and our Seattle grown server ❤️
We heard a lot about this place but unfortunately we didn't find anything nice about this restaurant. The prices are crazy expensive for what they serve. I would not recommend this place to anyone, nothing special.
Wonderful place to eat and great ambiance. My only complaint was the music was a little too loud to have a good conversation.
Waited a long time to be seated but once we got seated we were happy oh and you can’t take any pictures
The waitress spilled my drink when she gave it to me and didn’t wipe it up properly so the table was sticky and wet in places. Even some of my silverware was soaked which she didn’t seem to notice. Someone else dropped a folding serving table next to us which was a loud bang and then someone on staff dropped a fork which went flying in the air next to our table.
Food, ambience everything was perfect as always but my friend and I joked we were in the “dropping zone at Delilah” because staff kept dropping and spilling stuff near us.
The singer was extremely loud, to the point that it sounded like she was yelling and not singing. Service and food were great
The bartenders ignored us to chat with each other and other young guests. My chicken was overdone. The girl at the front although very helpful did not match the other vibe of the staff/ servers. She looked bohemian and they looked old school elegant .
Excellent food. Braised beef was super tender and tasty. The branzino melted in your mouth and the skin of the fish was nice a crispy. Both were cooked perfectly. Truffle Mac n cheese was excellent and very tasty. The truffle was not overpowering. The lobster mash potatoes was good except we didn’t really taste the lobster much. Drinks were excellent. Great ambiance. Very classy. Love the 1920 burlesque dancers walking around. We would come back again.
Really cool spot in WeHo. Atmosphere was great, food was pretty good but wouldn’t go crazy for it. Overall worth a try.
Terrible food and service for the price Shame as its such a lovely space
This is the third time for me in Delilah. Frankly, such a nice ambiance and music. However, the food was average, for a place like that I really wish that the food will improve because I love good places with great food. The pricing was decent, not over priced. Overall, I like the place and would go on a monthly basis:)
Even though the service was great, and they tried to be as nice as possible, they forgot to bring us some fries that we ordered before our main course, and then they totally mixed up our check, bringing us a full dinner with drinks that wasn’t ours.
Food was well beyond our expectations. Swordfish, endive salad and tuna tartare were excellent! Drinks were strong and beautiful! Music (DJ) was not as good as last time I was there( older mix of music,( like music from 10 yr ago :( ), only 1 or 2 dancers, they didn’t switch up at all, the band was promised by our waiter but they never showed up. Disappointing because music/dancers was the reason we wanted to come back.
Food was too dry, the service took forever, no one came to great us for the first 20 minutes until we got the hostess involved.
Great experience, amazing food! Wine wasn’t the best
Make sure you arrive after 8pm so you get to see the burlesque dancers! I love every single thing about this place.
It’s stunningly gorgeous decor, too notch service, spectacular food and drink.
Loved the ambiance , lighting , food, drinks , definitely the music as well as the burlesque dancers!
beautiful restaurant interior but there are 'hotspots' in WeHo with much more creative vibe and above all much better food.
Very elegant and trendy atmosphere
Matt is an amazing waiter. He is extremely sweet and very energetic. He made our evening memorable. The only complaint i have is that the blonde show girl kept putting her rear end in my face while i was trying to eat my seafood linguine.
It was just ok.
Host staff was horrible and rude. Waited 45 min to be seated when it was empty. Drinks horribly overpriced for what you get, waitress was getting ready in the rest room which was awkward.
Had been waiting a long time to try it but I can get good mac n' cheese at a lot of places in LA. Looks like all the reviews say the same thing and management has no desire to address them.
Too bad, beautiful restaurant and great music.
For a $400 dinner this experience sucked. For such an expensive restaurant it’s inexcusable to be “out of” so many items. Here’s the list:
1). We wanted a bottle of the $72 Cabernet. They told us they were out and the next thing similar was a $115 bottle. Because we wanted red wine we had no choice but to spend an additional $40 for a bottle.
2). No lobster mashed potatoes
3). No Hamburger (so of course we had to then go for the filet mignon — which was of course much more expensive at $48)
4). No turtle pie desert
So for our dinner we ended up spending significantly more than if they had the items we wanted. And there was no offer to comp anything or offer anything as a consolation.
Not to mention, things already started out wrong when we came 2 minutes early for an 11pm reservation. And we were told to “go have a drink at the bar” because they were behind on seating. We didn’t want to have a drink at the bar. We came for dinner. And we couldn’t even reach a bartender if we wanted to nor sit down and wait because it was over crowded.
So thanks very much to this restaurant for ruining a special occasion dinner.
Horrible service. Food arrived cold. Server did not come back. Manager was not professional
Great spot. Cool vibes.
WORST SERVICE EVER! Our waitress came over twice our entire time there. I cut my hand on a nail protruding from the chair. I waited 15 minutes for them to address my cut. They did nothing to compensate for the inconvenience. I did not receive an apology from the manager. By far, the WORST service I've ever received from a restaurant in LA. Shame on you!
I went to this place for my birthday and it was ok. It was clear that this place is busy because people want to see celebrities or be seen. The food was pretty good but they did not acknowledge that I was there for my birthday. The occasion didn’t feel as special as I would have liked, then again it served its purpose for others as a sighting post. I’m on the fence of returning, but good for a 1 time experience.
Loved the amazin ambiance, wonderful live piano, and the most amazing dessert + kale salad 👍🏻
Great experience and good food
They have a no picture rule which was stupid.
we came for the dancing girls and band... Sort of a bummer had a large table ready to party. I wish we had know there was no entertainment that night I would have booked a table elsewhere.
There was a old fashion vibe that created a sexy ambiance .
We felt transported to another time and place.
Birthday. Party of 4. Excellent
My second visit to Delilah was one of the most horrible experiences i’ve ever had, I don’t know what part of making reservations for two people entitles me to share a table with two strangers! but i will never be coming here again. Never have i heard of SHARING a table with stranger! when i’ve made reservations two weeks in advance, safe to say that I had a terrible valentine’s day!
I was there for Valentine’s Day.. very nice romantic good food good music :) nice choice
I really enjoyed dinning here! We had to wait 30 minutes for our table even though we had a reservation, but the food was worth it! The baby back ribs and the lobster mashed potatoes were a dream! Our only issue was the loudness of the place. We could hardly hear eachother across the table and our waitress took 20 minutes to come back and take our order. Definitely recommend Delilah's, but possibly on a less busy night if you're looking for a quieter and faster experience.
