Incredible food, service, and atmosphere. Will be back soon!
Very good plant based varied menu. Nice outdoor seating
Intimate and quiet French restaurant serving all vegan food. Absolutely incredible!
I came here for a date and was disappointed in the experience. The server was rude and curt to us as well as being very slow in serving us. The food was great but the ambience was not very cozy or relaxing. I would not recommend.
I’ve been coming here for years and the quality has never wavered.
We ate in the outdoor seating area which was very comfortable despite it being in the low 60s outside that night. If it gets colder you may want to bring a small blanket or shawl. The food was GREAT. We had the "escargot" and the vegan foie gras. The escargot were so good we had to order another dish of them. Unfortunately we weren't super hungry so we didn't sample as many things as I would have liked. For the entrees we had ratatouille, which was perfect, and the "steak frites" with truffle fries, also delicious. Of course, we held off on ordering too many meals so we could fit dessert, and I recommend this strategy as the desserts are wonderful. We had roasted banana crepe, apple caramel crepe, which were pretty large with great vegan ice cream and whipped cream. Our last dessert was lavender rice pudding - subtle and the perfect amount of sweet. My daughter is a vegan and she always looks for great vegan restaurants in the city, and this was one of the best we have been to!
Excellent vegan restaurant - French - everything tasted delicious. Small, fun
One of the best vegan food I have ever tasted , as good as Michelin stared ones
The menu is admirably extensive and well chosen. Thank you for this vegan take on French cuisine. My one complaint is that almost everything was described as a meatless version of what is not--Beef Bourguinon, steak tartare, etc. I get the point--these are classics of French cuisine. But why not present good vegan food for what it really is. Otherwise, merci beaucoup!
We did not enjoy the food at all. I have been a vegetarian for 45 years, so it wasn't the meat I was missing. There were two of us and neither of us enjoyed anything we ordered.
Delicious!!!! Would highly recommend for vegans and non-vegans alike.
Excellent food and service. One of my favorite restaurants!
An intimate setting with attentive staff. They recalled it was a birthday from my reservation 10 days earlier without having to be reminded. A comfortable ambience and enjoyable time.
Outstanding food—flavors and textures delicious! If we lived in NYC we’d go there once/week.
As one of our party said, “this dining experience is a reason in itself to come visit NYC.”
One of the best meals ever!
Delicious vegan food! And we were able to make a reservation outside pretty easily. I would come back again in a heartbeat.
The food is UNREAL good!! I could literally eat there EVERY DAY! Almost hard to believe it’s vegan. THE best vegan restaurant.
very creative vegan restaurant
great lunch spot
The New Yorker Magazine was right!
A wonderful surprise.
We are not vegans.
The menu was superb.
Can not wait to return.
This vegan fare is great for former or current meat eaters who love French food. The sauces were authentically delicious. The taste and textures of the “chicken, beef, duck, cheese, and sausage” were rich and complex. Some dishes were more of a nod to the animal-based fare than credible impostors, but tasty nonetheless. I recommend asking for bread to sop up every bit of sauce!
Love It. Food amazing service amazing !
Wonderful waitress! The food is good but the faux meats are disconcerting. Mushrooms are always a better choice for a meaty bite. Pricey but on par with the other vegan restaurants in the area.
Great food. This is what vegan food should be.
One of my favorite restaurants in NYC.
This place gets kudos for creativity and service, but to be honest, French food should probably never be made vegan. The “foie gras” and “escargot” were both tasty, but the “steak frites” was just not good. Tasted like unflavored meat loaf. Fries were fine, but the crepe for dessert was sadly disappointing. Overall, food was fine, but I won’t be going back. If you’re strictly vegan you may like it, but if you’re not, go to Boucherie next door.
It doesn’t matter what you pick off the menu, you can’t go wrong. So much love and thought was put into each dish. Everyone who works here is a pleasure. I can’t wait to go back again.
Fantastic in every way. My favorite restaurant in NYC❤️
Really enjoyed my experience here. Went with my mom and a friend. Neither are vegan but I am. I loved the small, cozy space. The waiter was really nice. Checked our vaccine cards. Gave menu suggestions.
Liked pasta, imposible steak, cheese plate, carrot soup, apple crepe, banana chocolate crepe, Chardonnay. Did not care for the foie gras. Will be back again.
This was a unique find here in NYC. The French cuisine inspired vegan dishes were terrific.
Absolutely astounding vegan food; I can't recommend this place more highly. The cheese plate is an absolutely delight and a must for any vegans looking for that cheesy goodness. Incredibly delicious crepes and desserts. A+, best restaurant I visited in my week in NYC.
Scallops were delish!
Everything was fantastic. Unique food for vegan restaurant. Loved the vegan cheeses.
Excellent vegan food. Always well-made and excellent service. Would recommend for a nice dinner out.
The outdoor setup is lovely. The food was amazing - particularly the macadamia warmed brie and fois gras.
As a vegetarian I love vegetables and the fresh taste of crispy green food. This is a nice restaurant. Cute. The French aspect is cosy. However no matter how hard you try you’ll never get veggies to taste like meat. I missed more fresh and light dishes. If I was a meat eater I might enjoy the unusual experience. Glad I tried it but doubt I’ll return. Service was friendly and good. Simply not my kind of food.
The food here is DELICIOUS!! My first time able to eat at a French restaurant since becoming vegan 10 years ago. The food is incredible and authentic and was equally loved by my omnivore partner.
