Delia's is a real gem!! The food is extremely flavorful and overall excellent. Their pastas are homemade and delicious. The pizza knuckles and squash ravioli are my favorites.
The cocktails are creative, tasty and very reasonably priced and they have happy hour 7 days a week!
The whole staff is very friendly including the waitresses, chef , bartender and manager.
I've been many times since they opened (for lunch, happy hour, dinner). Every time has consistently been great!

Our meal was very good. We had the beef short ribs and chicken kabobs. Great presentation and delivery. The calamari appetizer was one of the best we've had in awhile.

Delicious homemade pastas and pizza. Granted we were there at 5:30 pm on a Sunday, but it was nice and quiet for conversation, even with football on the tv screens. Service was very attentive. We were too full for dessert but cocktails were great. It's as close to me as Shirlington but the parking was easier! I've found my neighborhood place!

The food was delicious. Excellent pizza and the appetizer was fabulous. Service was terrible...waiter in a hurry then disappeared completely. Check inaccurate and the manager forgot to bring back our credit card after we paid (no waiter to be found so the manager dealt with the bill.) Place was very noisy.

Wow!!! Best service I have received in the longest time. The owner came by the table and greeted us. The server was attentive and expedient, she was by far one of the best I have experienced in the area.

Our food was perfectly prepared, but the best part was that Chef Chad brought us the meals.

Definitely will be eating here more often.

Food was okay. Service was over-solicitous before we got served, then a little slow afterwards. In a city now brimming with good dining options, I'd still go here if I needed a fast meal in the neighborhood, but it wouldn't be my first choice all in all.

The calamari was excellent. The short rib gnocchi dish was decent, but definitely not worth the price. If I’m going to pay $20+ for a pasta dish, I would expect a much better wine list. The waitress was very sweet but still appeared to be learning the ropes. Overall, my experience was okay. I’d go back out of convenience, not for the food.

This Arlington branch of the Alexandria restaurant just opened June 2018 and is a great addition to area dining. It's clear that there is considerable confusion between the two locations, including the listing of the Arlington restaurant as participating in the Alexandria restaurant week--it wasn't. The waiter said that confusion happens often with food delivery as well.

Regardless, this was a great place for dining. There's an outdoor section which, even with temps in the 80s, was quite pleasant. The inside seemed a bit too cool. We went with the 11" pizza and the appetizer Pei mussels for our main course, and had Saganaki and a salad as appetizers. The Greek Saganaki grilled cheese (in an iron skillet) with lemon juice was excellent, even better than in another fully Greek restaurant where we'd eaten previously. The Pei mussels in white wine sauce were good, though I would have preferred more sauce to give flavor to the mussels. The Gustoso pizza was a thick crust, so much better than the thin ones you tend to get in restaurants.

Wines are a bit pricey, starting around $34 and up from there, for regular wines: e.g., Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc sells for $11.99 in stores and was $49 here. But with a bottle of wine and our meals with tax but not tip, our total was just under $100.

Great local place to eat.

We did not have a great experience at Delia's. We ordered the trio of spreads (tzatziki, harissa, and fava salata) which was very overpriced at $16 considering the very small amount of each, and not very good, save for the harissa which was about average tasting. The sangria was also not great and the fruit in it was just bar fruit (maraschino cherry, lime wedge). Also, we ordered drinks during happy hour but the bill didn't reflect the price for all those drinks so we had to send the bill back which we hate to do. Finally, the pizza was very bready and not very flavorful - akin to cafeteria pizza. The only positives about the pizza were the marinated portobello on top which tasted good and the slight burn to the crust which is actually pleasant. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant and we left feeling like we'd wasted our money and the calories on a very underwhelming experience.

After 10 minutes, the hostess who sat us brought us water. Another 10 minutes before a server showed up with a muttered apology. That the hostess got us water says they knew we waited too long. This was on a very slow Sunday afternoon. That Sunday afternoon was slow says something, too. Service issues aside, the 4 of us had two entree salads, one with salmon and one with shrimp, a pizza, and an omelette. All the food was good and enjoyed. Didn't have to wait too long for the check.
This was not our first time at Delia's and wobbly service seems to persist while the food is satisfying.
We'll return, but with low expectations.

Excellent customer service from the manager, Oliver, the lovely hostess (I didn't get her name) and our wonderful, friendly server, Sylvanka. Oliver checked on our satisfaction several times throughout our meal and Sylvanka was one of the most efficient and cheerful servers that we have ever had. Our favorite choices of the evening were the trio of spreads (especially the roasted eggplant), the mussels (beautiful, well developed broth...although there were several unopened mussles in the serving) and the veal bolognese (a generous portion of pasta and sauce that my son devoured!). Delia's was a last minute dinner choice for us and obviously, we chose well. The restaurant is a great destination for a casual, tasty meal with outstanding service (ask for Sylvanka!).

This visit was outstanding! I had the Bucatini Arrabiata that was not only prepared perfectly but was a great looking dish. The mussels and shrimp were cooked to perfection. The sauce was bold and full bodied and matched perfectly with the bucatini. Nicely done, and I look forward to having it again. Only wish that there was a crusty bread to accompany the meal.

Delia’s is a great addition to Arlington cuisine. It’s in an unusual location in a strip mall in South Arlington but do try it—you’ll like it! We celebrated our daughter and son-in-law’s first anniversary here.

Delia’s is a find! Recently opened in an unlikely location of a strip mall on Glebe Rd. near Gunston Middle School, the menu is unique and absolutely delicious. The pastas are made in-house (gnocchi, anyone?) and items such as the barbecued lamb ribs are amazing! Chef Chad, as a friend of mine says, “Kills it!” Try this place! Let’s keep it open—it’s a South Arlington gem!

Started with a terrific Greek salad. Ordered pizza that was supposed to have Kalamata olives, but had California olives instead. They are absolutely tasteless and feel like rubber. Never acceptable especially in a Greek style restaurant! I"m sure the price for the pizza was based on the more expensive Greek olives. Big disappointment.

Family dinner: my salad w/chicken and shrimp was delicious; both nicely seasoned. The remainder of the dishes were judged as fine, nothing special. Waitress seemed overwhelmed: we asked to have the beef cooked more and she left it sitting on the edge of our table for a long time while she took orders from other customers. Drinks took a very long time to arrive. Hopefully the restaurant will address some of these issues.

We've been to the Alexandria location a number of times and were so excited when one opened closer to home! The food is a bit different than the Alexandria spot, but equally good. The chicken and lemon soup will cure whatever ails you, and everything else we ordered was lovely including dessert. The lemon thyme creme brulee is a must. Definitely visit this restaurant!
