Steak
Perfect For:
  • Special Occasion
  • Good for Anniversaries
  • Good for a Date
Everybody has their own idea about what makes a perfect steak. Yes, it always starts with a great cut of 100% Black Angus beef from cattle raised on small farms and fed an all-vegetarian diet to promote superior marbling and outstanding flavor. But which cut is best, the degree to which a steak is cooked, and what best complements a steak"s flavor — well, that's all pretty personal. That's why we at Delaney's Grill take the time to talk to every diner. We show you the cuts we offer, talk to you about rubs that can improve their flavor, and offer recommendations on the best way to cook your steak. And when we deliver your meal, we don't leave the table until we know your steak is cooked to your definition of perfection. Add amazing appetizers, perfect sides and a family-style chop-chop salad and you'll understand why Delaney's Grill is the best for steak in the Valley. View the Delaney's Grill Menu.

It was a quiet Monday evening my wife and I met with a friend to catch up on life. We had the full attention of the waiter who allowed us to relax and eventually order. The food arrived and, as usual, the portions were generous, presented beautifully and delicious. This restaurant is only 3 miles from home and we've dined there many times and have attended many functions and have never been disappointed. I wish it continued success in the years to come.

Generally the food was very tasty and the service was good. However, the popovers were disappointing, they were barely warm and did not seem fresh.

Relaxing dinner with friends. Excellent service, great food. We all had Delany’s Dilemma, which includes appetizers, entree with sides, salad, their famous popovers and dessert. All portions were full size and delicious.

The atmosphere is always very pleasant and everything is very clean. We've been here several times and always enjoyed it. This time was not quite up to the usual standards.
They only had one server for our room and the server was late picking up dirty dishes and refilling beverages. Also, the lamb was all fat and very little meat (twice)!

The waiter did not bring dishes for our appetizer so we used our bread plates. Although my husband said his steak was good, I was disappointed in my filet, which was served lukewarm. I ordered it "Oscar" which was supposed to come with lobster and crab, and a bearnaise sauce. Although I'm not a fan of a lot of sauce, the bearnaise was barely noticeable and a microscope would have helped me find the seafood--certainly not worth the extra $9.

Food was good. Slow service was not the waitress' fault. Waitress (Barbara) and manager were very gracious and generous about the ordeal. They were understaffed and unprepared for a full house, which should be anticipated, especially at their price point. Our meal took about three hours - another couple nearby just got up and left.

We went for the Sunday Brunch...even though it was Easter, the service and food were exceptional!
o many different food options, all presented in their beautiful brunch buffet arrangement. It was so hard to choose between breakfast items or lunch!!! We will definitely be back soon!!

The service was great and the portions were huge - much too big, in my opinion. The scallops were fine - a bit overcooked, and the chocolate cake was nothing special. The best thing about the meal was the people I was with and the server Dan, who was excellent.

My wife and I have been here for brunch before, first time for dinner. A bit of a wait for our table (7:45 reservation, 8:00 we were sat). Our server was an amazing lady, Barbara S (was the name on the receipt). Absolute sweetheart. She was absolutely caring, ensured everything was perfect. Additionally my wife ordered the stuffed lobster tail, Barbara ordered the stuffing on the side for her. My wife absolutely loved that, made the tail that much easier to eat, and the stuffing was great too. Didn't change the taste at all. The food was perfect, even late at night was able to get Prime Rib as I wanted it. Absolutely great finish to our evening, would visit again, and would most definitely ask for Barbara again, and wait a bit if we needed to.

My wife and I dined here on our way to comedy show. We had the calamari appetizer with the peanut sauce and the waitress offered us to try the red sauce. The red sauce was much better than the peanut sauce (but still good). I ordered the Delmonico Ribeye at the suggestion of our hostess, Barbara. The steak was tender and juicy! My wife ordered the hook ‘em special with an appetizer, entree, and desert for a great price. She had the clam chowder, a bit on the salty side but it was delicious. Her entree was the Fra Diavolo - which she loved but couldn’t finish. She took the desert on the road. Overall, great restaurant for a special night or a date night. It’s pricey but worth it. The meal portions are very generous.

Barbara was a sweet hostess and when I return, I would request her. Overall, great experience.

This was my second time to Delaney's Grill and as the first time, the food was excellent and the service was great! The atmosphere is perfect for a small birthday dinner (which is what we were there for, my birthday). The chop chop salad and pop-overs to start were awesome and everyone enjoyed their entrees!

I reviewed Delaney's at Christmastime, when I booked there for a family dinner. This time I went with just my husband. I wanted to point out that, for a steakhouse, Delaney's provides great value. Several steaks cost under $30, and though these are the smaller ones, they are by no means small. Included with the cost of the steak are a chopped salad served family style (It is very good and what we got was more than 2 people could eat), an enormous popover, and a vegetable. You have to spend $2-$3 extra for a starch. I had the 8 oz club sirloin filet for $23.95, had no complaints, and could not finish the steak or potatoes I had ordered after a very large appetizer that I had ordered extra. Speaking of that, the crab cakes were delicious; the portion is 3 crab cakes, each on a bed of slaw, for $10. I didn't give high marks for ambiance. It's fine; there are white tablecloths, and the dining room is kept free of the noise from the bar, but it just doesn't strike me as special or cozy, though the smallish room has a fireplace. I'm not sure what it needs.

we were getting together with our adult children and their spouses for my husbands birthday. Our table was ready and waiting well before our reservation time. It was beautifully set and in front of the fireplace. Our waiter Max was friendly and efficient and made excellent recommendations. Our meal was timed well with no rush. Each of our choices were superb and we are not particularly easy to please. My husband and I have been there previously and were excited to introduce our children to this lovely place. Each of them let us know how much they enjoyed the experience and would love to return. For a truly pleasant experience this is the place to go.

Not a fan of table, kept hitting knee on legs. Not many steak options. Let the meat shine and do away with sauce or just put on the side. Sides were not good/too small/should be included. On a positive, service was great, apps were great, salad was great, prices were good. Underwhelmed with main course.

I’m in love with the chopped salad and popovers! The Chilean sea bass is the best along with the duck breast! They make a pretty good Lemon Drop Martini, too!

Made reservations through Open table and was not at all disappointed. Our wait was only a couple of minutes, the staff was very friendly, and the food was to die for. The handcrafted cocktails were absolutely delicious! Our steaks were cooked perfectly as were our asparagus fries and calamari. This restaurant made our night one to remember and may now be a Galentine's Day tradition for my best friend and I.

We've enjoyed Delaney's Sunday brunch a few times, and have always found both the food and service to be excellent. We do wish that they would label their desserts, however. It's often pretty difficult what might be lurking under the whipped cream and other toppings, and that could be important for people with certain food sensitivities.

Enjoyed the Sunday Brunch, food nice and fresh and a good variety. Staff was friendly and polite. Good brunch selection for all taste and the food is well prepared.

My one comment is that getting a coffee refill took a little effort, in the past at Delaney the wait staff would actively circulate to offer coffee or tea but in my recent visit not once did anyone come over to ask about beverages for myself or the rest of the party. It's a small matter but if one is paying $26 for brunch I expect staff to periodically check on if anyone needs coffee, tea or a drink.
