At Delahunt restaurant, our aim is to provide the best seasonal, local produce in a relaxed and welcoming setting. In keeping with the buildings Victorian origins, our menus are influenced by traditional and often overlooked cookery techniques. Home curing and smoking, slow cooked braises, pickles, preserves, and traditional desserts are some of our specialties. Championing small local producers is an essential part of our ethos.

In less than a year at Delahunt, the team was awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand 2016, and again for 2017/2018/2019. Our passion is to produce every element of our dishes in house ranging from our Guinness bread to our signature home smoked salmon. Our menu has focus, offering four starters, four mains, and four desserts. This allows team to produce high-quality food, fresh on site. We also use only seasonal, local spirits in the bar, featuring a local producer for vodka, gin, and whiskey.

A group of nine friends celebrating a birthday had a fantastic evening at Delahunt. The food was fabulous, the service attentive, yet discreet.......... a recipe for a fun, memorable experience. Thank you Team Delahunt.

Underwhelming main course for the price (lamb) - small portion size and looked a poor option compared to some nearby diners. Service charge included on the menu should be mentioned on the bill to avoid confusion, which seems like an attempt to gain a tip on two occasions. Looked forward to this but unfortunately won’t be returning.

Great food and presentation. We were seated in the small private room at the end so noise level was low and we had a great level of privacy.

Had a very enjoyable evening at Delahunts. The food was very tasty, my partner said the Guinness is very good and he’s an expert! I had a lovely Bordeaux wine. It’s a lovely intimate restaurant, doesn’t feel busy evening when full. The little bar upstairs is so cosy as well, lovely spot to chill out with a drink after dinner.

Everything about Delahunt was excellent. I had a pig's trotter to start; it was ingenious and delicious. For main course, I ordered lamb: it was beautifully arranged on the plate, with perfectly done gnocchi. The taste combinations throughout the meal were extraordinary. We ordered a side of potatoes; I wish that I could make potatoes come out of the oven so crispy. They must have been boiled then finished in oil, though that's just a guess. The ambiance is terrific, with the late Victorian shelves, the recovered Delahunt sign, the long countertop, the lace curtains at the front. Really a terrific evening out. I'd go back in a second.
