Come enjoy our family's 100 year-old Northern Italian restaurant.

Whether you dine with us in our main dining room, the Terrace or upstairs in what was once our family's home, we warmly welcome you. If you're looking for that special restaurant where you can take a breath from the fast lane and go back to a time when restaurants were not part of a chain and the owner became a friend, the food was always great, and as my grandmother said, "You feel better for coming"....then you've found the right spot. We combine the classic Italian Menu and new creative dishes, with full attention to both. If you enjoy fine wine, you've found a new home. Our cellar contains well over 3,500 choices dating from the late 1800's.

Lovely restaurant- outdoor covered seating. Tortalini soup outstanding. Lasagna was perfect. The tortalacci was very good however the tomato cream sauce was extremely rich. Overall ruined the tortacci. Will definitely get with a different sauce the next time. Complementary valet parking.

OUTSTANDING! What an amazing place that has been around and in the same family for decades. We all had homemade pasta including the gluten-free option and they were all delicious and authentic. We had just returned from Italy the prior week and it felt like we were still there! KUDOS to the family and Chef.

Enjoyed a wonderful meal on the patio. Great ravioli and veal. Love northern Italian cuisine.

The food was good, but the service was not. The server, who was new, took a long time to take our order, forgot to bring the salads, and then forgot the side dishes with the main course. Usually, the service is not a problem. Oversight of this server needed to be better.

The food here is amazing! We found it by accident. Had the best feel to it - like you were eating in your grandma’s house. Our food was incredible. Our server was the sweetest soul! We definitely visit again the next time we visit Chicago!

There was live instrumental music the evening we were there for dinner, but it wasn't loud and added a nice touch to the ambiance. All of our dinners were very good. We have dined there before and will return again. The owner, Bill, always stops at each table to check on patrons' meals and service. A nice touch!

i loved every second i was at Del Rio!!!!!!!!!!!!! The food was outstanading!!!! i loved our servers....i met the owners...and i cant say enough how wonderful they are!! I cant wait to return I live in chicago the city but i will drive up!! what a wonderful experience...YUM YUM....my dish was the best!!! No wonder Del rio is a TREASURE!!!!!!!! andy b.
