Parties of 5 or larger have the choice of either the 5 course Il Menu Del Posto or an 8 course Captain menu. A la carte dining is available for parties of 4 guests or fewer.
At Del Posto business attire is highly suggested and jackets are recommended. We welcome younger guests ages 6 and older. Strollers are not permitted and high chairs are not available.

Amazing as always. Their truffle corona was delectable and memorable. The lemon pistachio dessert was delicious too. Service wonderful as always. The non alcoholic Yuzu cocktail was really really interesting and something I still think about!
Was there a number of years ago and the service was much better. It was pretty disappointing when we went. It felt like the servers were mailing it in on a Sunday night

Been here many times and this experience surpassed any in recent memory. The current menu is unbeatable -- don't pass up the Corona pasta course (served with cheese and black truffle), it is perhaps the best plate of food I've had all year. Our primary server was Marco, with whom I was beyond pleased, as he's warm, attentive, patient and knowledgeable. I truly cannot understand why Del Posto still has only one Michelin star when it so clearly has shown it deserves more recognition.

Overall a wonderful experience. The Pasta was the star of the meal. We were so full by the time our entrees arrived perhaps we could not appreciate them as we should have. Gorgeous venue and amazing service staff

Everything was outstanding. So nice to be in a restaurant where you can actually carry on a conversation. Staff was superb. Wine pairing was unbelievable. Pricey - but worth it.

My family and I have dined at Del Posto on several occasions dating back to when it was brand new. We hadn't been there in at least three or four years and sadly, it just wasn't the same. The food was quite good...but not worth the $200 per person prix fixe. The city now has way better options for that kind of money. And the restaurant itself felt dated and a little thread-worn. I hate to say it but our last visit will likely be our last visit.
From beginning to end this is what first class service and dining is. From the time we walked in to the time we exited, the service from the staff was excellent.

I will start this review by saying, love del posto. I’ve been here maybe 10 times. Perhaps the better chefs and servers are on vacation because it is the summer? I was surprised as to how poor the food quality and service was this time. The first pasta course was served room temperature which is not appealing for agnolotti with rabbit. When they brought it back it was so over cooked we could not chew the rabbit, it was inedible. The cold veal antipasti was extremely bland, as well as the yellowfin tuna secondi. I wanted to ask for hot sauce. (I did not- that would have been insulting) The wine pairing which is always spectacular was a rather peculiar situation, because the person serving the wine appeared to be reading the label. We asked a few questions and did not get answers. He seemed flustered and confused. Very different than the typical sommelier experience you would have at Del Posto. Another strange thing, the courses are usually about 10 minutes in between and well timed out. Our first course took 5 minutes second course 10 minutes then 45 minutes until the 3rd. Perhaps due to the pasta blunder? I will go back in the fall and I expect this strangely terrible dinning experience will be a one time occurrence. Id suggest skipping Del Posto until late September.

Awful service, particularly for the exorbitant prices. For our special occasion (anniversary), they seated us at a table that was broken, causing a glass of wine to pour all over my suit. The maitre d’ was argumentative, as opposed to apologetic. I was unbelievably shocked at how poor the service was for a $500 meal. I would not recommend.
Absolutely wonderful experience. Food was expected, excellent, as well as the service. We were celebrating 2 birthdays and they made our entire meal a wonderful experience.
A business dinner for five of us. We opted for their five course choose-your-own dishes-except-for-the-pasta-course, which is kind of an odd setup, but which worked out well for us. We opted for wine service and were helped by an excellent sommelier who chose four interesting bottles for us as the courses progressed, all (in the context of Del Posto) reasonably priced at around $100 per. The food was exceptionally well executed, managing rich, fresh, and authentic in every dish. Great care is clearly being taken. The room itself is elegant (we dined on the balcony) and tasteful but also dark and gloomy. Sounds odd but when you enter you'll see. The service is competent and precise; not overbearing or severe. The tiny baguettes deserve a special mention: beautiful crust, tangy interior, fantastic. I will definitely be back, and probably at lunch, when most of the dinner menu can be had for about 1/3 of the price. It's a really solid restaurant that feels like it could become something spectacular.

Fine dining at its finest! Every time at Del Posto is an new experience. This time we were with a friend with a gluten allergy. Not only were they exceptionally accommodating to her needs, but went above and beyond in some cases creating a custom dish for her. Their attentiveness is world class. I can't say more about the staff, the chefs, and food. IF you have never visited, make sure you do at least once in life.
