I noted in our reservation that we wanted a table on the balcony; and, when the restaurant called in advance to confirm the reservation, I reminded the caller of this (she responded that the restaurant takes people as they come in, or something like that). Anyway, we got there on time, and asked about such a table, only to be told we'd have to wait 20-30 minutes. I.e., they made zero effort to save us a table where we asked. Such lack of attention to a customer's requests shows something about them, I think. The woman who took us to our table was a tad arrogant; I think she felt we should feel honored to be taken by her. We had a relatively long delay for our server, but once she arrived, she was fine. That said, my fiancé's meal was cold; unfortunately, she didn't tell me this until we left. I think she felt that given the way things had gone up to that point, adding yet another wrinkle would not be good. This was my first time at Del Mar; unsure I'll return. Overall, unimpressed with them. There are many finer restaurants available in Naples.

Food is mediocre at best. The place is noisy with continuous pounding music. Don’t go if you don’t like that.

Enjoyed my dinner. Accidentally left my expensive sweater on my chair. Did not get it back unfortunately. Called the restaurant and no one turned it in to lost and found.

The “small” Grilled seafood tower was plenty for two of us making a meal of it (served with fresh bread). exceptionally delicious and more like a bouillabaisse with the plentiful seafood all cooked perfectly. Wine list is expensive with bottles priced with 3x and 4x markups. No sommelier on staff so do your own research research. No draft beer just bottles. Service was attentive and efficient without hurrying us since we wanted a leisurely pace.

Outstanding restaurant. Highly recommend for dinner. We had the octopus starter and sea bass for the main. Rick the GM came by to make sure that all was taken care of!!!

We had the appetizer seafood wrapped in grape leaves . It was excellent ! Our entree was red snapper one of the best presentations and quality I have ever experiences! Well done.

Our server, Max was wonderful as he was very helpful choosing the right menu and his recommendation for drinks were excellent as well. Best food in Naples and one of the best services we had and dining upstairs Terrace looking down on fifth Avenue with heater was the best experience.

Del Mar is one of our favorite restaurants in Naples. The food is always consistently great. The staff is well trained and makes sure everything is as expected. The lobster spaghetti and chimichurri are our favorites.

We had a lovely table for 6 on the upstairs balcony. We had a very attentive and friendly waiter, Toghurl. He explained the nature of the restaurant and made good recommendations. The timing of meal was not rushed, even though we ordered everything right away. I highly recommend this restaurant and Toghurl!!

Fabulous meal in a fantastic setting. Highly recommend the lobster spaghetti and beet salad. PEI oysters are small in size but very great if you are a raw oyster fan. Overall, just a great dining experience!

Went for our anniversary dinner - they treated us for a complimentary champagne toast and dessert on the house - fantastic servers / service very personable staff who were down to earth and super friendly and knowledgeable!

Our server was very polite, attentive, friendly, & knowledgeable. Can’t remember his name but he is from Madagascar. The Scallops & Salmon were excellent. Fun on the front patio. Can’t say enough good things!

Always enjoy our experiences at Del Mar. One if the swankiest and fun atmospheres on 5th. Food was delicious last night. Service was good but not as attentive as our past visits. We will be back.

Exceptional from start to finish. The 4.8 rating should be a 5. Our waiter,Filip, is excellent. Attentive and made precise and 100% great recommendations. There are a number of restaurants we have visited on this street. Del Mar is The Best by far. Outstanding.

The food is always amazing and my group was at the restaurant like a hour before we had scheduled and they got us in before the time we had a good spot on the first floor. I loved that everything was coming out at a decent time and it was prepped good. We had salmon and I just think if I had a little more sauce on the salmon then it would have been a little bit better

Del Mar is one of my favorite restaurants in Naples! The food & service is always fantastic even now that it’s in season! My favorite things Golden Beet Salad, Snapper, Brussel sprouts and of course the Olive oil cake an absolute Must! The Lobster Spaghetti is another favorite. & must try!
