   I was pleasantly surprised - I have dined here before and it was good enough to return, but this meal exceeded my expectations. I had the truffle tagliatelle special with grilled lobster. Yes, it was even better than it sounds. My wife, the grilled swordfish with saffron tomato sauce. - flaky, moist fish. Washed down with a bottle of white wine from Portugal, selected from a very broad wine list. An outside 2nd floor table, a really capable server, what's not to like?

   We live in Naples and have gone several times , it’s going downhill fast , poor service mediocre food and high prices. This a pretentious over rated place many better places in Naples

    Joe was a terrific waiter, we had a great table on the patio and the food was delicious. On this night they were out of the Santa Cristina Pinot Grigio but substituted a better one for same price. Stella Artois beer was unavailable. We will be back! Thanks,Kris

    Best Restaurant in Naples. Food is consistently excellent, service friendly and professional, the design is top notch. By far, my favorite! Order the fire roasted seafood and lamb flatbed, both amazing!!

    Del Mar is our new favorite restaurant in the Naples area. Our party of 4 had a wonderful dinner experience. It's nice to see a restaurant that is well-staffed and obviously have been trained very well. We will be back!

    Wonderful meal and service as always. We had the Snapper, Octopus and Flatbread — all very very delicious. Service is always top notch and we were able to eat outside, which was our request — love coming here!

    We had brunch on Sunday. I had the orange date bread and it was delicious. My husband had the lamb burger and enjoyed it as well. Service was wonderful as always.

    Apps were great. The loaded hummus with fresh vegetables was outstanding. The beet salad was equally good. Entrees were simply horrible. Snapper was a bone dry filet drenched in butter, garlic and way way too much salt. "Lobster" spaghetti was flavorless, overcooked soggy pasta with almost no lobster in the dish.

    Great place to dine! We always sit on the lower porch. Marina our server was very upbeat and patient! Food is delicious! I highly recommend DelMar! The street can be noisy at times!

    So overrated!! The food was just OK. I would think that for the cost, the ingredients would be exceptional and the flavor combinations would blow my mind. Just nothing special and kind of bland really. We got oysters (not the best I have had). The dips were good. The steak was fine but not special. Just a steak. The flatbread was bland and the beet salad was just so so. Disappointing .. really. Service and ambiance were 8 out of 10.

    Beautiful night in downtown Naples at a perfect outdoor table. Salads were fresh and a perfect size. Sea bass was outstanding. Great service from Jo our server.

    Overall we had a good experience. The hostess who greeted us was very welcoming. We felt that there could have been a little more lighting over our table. It was difficult to read the menu. The noise level was loud and it was difficult to hear the person across from me (four tabletop). It made conversation awkward and difficult. Our meals were delicious and nicely presented. The service staff was friendly and professional.

    This is the 2nd time we've been to Del Mar. Although our drinks, apps, and service was wonderful the entrees were nothing special. We won't hesitate to give it another try though!
