Del Fuego never disappoints. The loaded guacamole is a favorite and all of the different salsas too. The burritos are my favorite and you can always get it as a chimichanga too! Patio dining is awesome.
Excellent spot… Don’t miss out
Guacamole best in town the warm chips with right level of salt was perfect. The watermelon ring with cinnamon was a nice surprise as well as the watermelon jello shot to end the night
A great off to the side place on Magazine with terrific food and perhaps the best guacamole in town!
Del Fuego is definitely a step up from most Mexican restaurants. Overall, the quality of their food tends to be more gourmet than most. I highly recommend that you try "all the salsa", an appetizer option that lets you sample all 8 of their freshly made salsas. They also do a wonderfully fresh guacamole that can be customized with a number of optional additions. I typically get the tacos here, and they never disappoint.
Our absolute favorite restaurant in New Orleans. The staff are incredible, plus the tacos are the best in the world!
Great food and service. Loved that they were adhering to all Covid protocols, we felt very safe. Ryanne and Robert were our servers, and they, and our burritos and chimichangas, were out of this world! (I may have also put down a boat of queso on my own 😉)
Food was unique and delicious. Service was excellent. We sat outside on the covered patio and felt very safe.
Del Fuego is my favorite restaurant. I’m obsessed with the fried shrimp tacos!
We really enjoy the margaritas on a Friday after work. Seafood platter is a good deal since you get enough for four tacos when you go with the grilled fish and you get beans and rice. Churros are tasty withe the blueberry sauce.
Great food. BEST guac in town. BEST margaritas. Super friendly service. Loved!
The food was amazing! Portion size is ridiculously large. If you go home hungry it's your own fault. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful.
So glad we decided to try Del Fuego. The food was amazing. The guacamole and mexican pizza was so fresh and delicious.
Margaritas were delicious along with the salsa trio and the Mexican pizza. Great food & service as always
Service was beyond excellent! Food and Margaritas were Awesome! I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
Del Fuego is my fav Uptown restaurant! I frequently go there on Saturdays for the yummy Brunch menu. And, the current Coolinary menu is excellent! The delivery option is always convenient. Exceptional people, exceptional food/menu, exceptional quality all around!!
Robert and his friend spoiled us! The drinks kept coming, water glasses stayed full, and the food was delicious!!!
A consistently amazing experience!
Our family enjoyed a night out at Del Fuego!
We got 2 Quesadillas - carne asada & chicken trio of salsas & margaritas. Absolutely delicious Terrific friendly service
Let me tell you something. The people here are phenomenal. Food phenomenal. Atmosphere is phenomenal. If I am using a certain word too much well guess what. They are phenomenal. Ryanne, I can't think of the gentleman from out of town's name or the tall male bartender's name but they were all amazing. They make it feel like you are visiting family. But I guess when you used to go there at least once a week you can't help but get to know the staff a little. They are so welcoming. Del Fuego owner they all need bonuses right now. The food is aweeeeesome. Everything is so fresh and the menu items are a nice twist to traditional Mexican food. I mean who comes up with items such as the "Eggroll burrito?" I've had that the past three times and I can not wait to try the Lamb burrito. Do not take that off the menu until I try it. Queso fundido with the homemade tostadas. I'm smacking my lips just typing this. Shishito peppers....Delicious. Tacos...Delicious. And I'm not one to knock a joint but the Rum house down the street is always poppin for some reason. Stay down there people and leave this not so hidden gym alone so I can make my reservations with ease. Food taste is not even close between these two. Or any other restaurant I've eaten In that type of cuisine. Someone says Mexican food in the New Orleans area and Fuego is my number one choice. And don't get me started on the drinks. All fresh fruit options are incredible additions to the traditional margaritas. This time I had the watermelon and the wifey had the blueberry. Incredible. The only bad part that made me mad was the fact that I could only have one drink (wifey's orders). Only other bad part is my moms mistakingly threw away my little del Fuego cup by mistake thinking it was trash. So sad. I can't wait until you guys put those out again. Keep up the good work guys! We'll see yall soon!
Came in for my birthday, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The food and drinks are always amazing. My friend enjoyed her first experience and we will both be back!
The food, staff, and drinks were phenomenal! They make all of their juices in-house, and the freshness cannot be beat. I ordered a delicious burrito bowl and a ginger paloma. I cannot wait to go back to this wonderful restaurant!
We loved dining at Del Fuego, this being our first visit!
Beginning with the ambiance: the lovely color scheme of the dining room & fun music really made for an exciting time.
The staff: they made us feel like family & had the best recommendations on tequila & food.
The food & cocktails: I highly recommend the Queso Fundido, Loaded Guacamole, Mexican pizza & Tres Hermanos Make it Wet.
I loved the different fresh seasonal juices of margaritas (I tried cucumber & blueberry, my boyfriend had hibiscus & grapefruit)
Definitely will return (hopefully weekly!)
Lunch was delicious! Thanks for taking care of us!
noise level was high. I would not characterize it as energetic. It was way too loud to have a conversation. Perhaps some people like it but I prefer dining at places where I can hear my dinner companions. The waiter was so arrogant. Screw that, I won't be back.
Great food, drinks, ambiance and staff. Only thing I would recommend is that they let you know upfront there is a 22% living wage (a.k.a. tip) added to your bill.
Always a great experience at DF! Ryanne and Robert are always friendly and wonderful, and food from Chef Dave and Eric delicious. Thanks as always!
Really great food and service. We had the salsas with tostadas , New Mexico enchiladas , coconut curry lamb burrito, and chicken quesadilla.
Absolutely amazing food, service and atmosphere. We will definitely be back again!
It was fine. Not exceptional but not bad either. I really just go there for the margaritas.
Del Fuego is always wonderful! Great food & drinks!
Delicious margaritas trio of salsa, carne asada quesadilla
Great friendly service
Excellent service, amazing food and drinks, great outdoor seating!
Food was excellent, the drinks were delicious and the service was great! We'll be back
The food so fresh and delicious, and their margaritas are out of this world!
Rough time making reservations but when we got there everything else was excellent.
The food and drinks were phenomenal as well as the waitstaff. I enjoyed the good food and weather and would definitely go again. The only thing I wish they still did like in their pictures was use freshly prepared chicharrones not store bought pig skins.
Good experience overall, but please know going in that there is a mandatory 22% fair wage fee added to your ticket.
