We really like Del Frisco's Grille and we've had most of the luncheon items. We were very disappointed in the cheeseburger. When we asked for medium rare, the server said we couldn't choose how it would be cooked "because it's a smashburger." The burger looked fantastic but the two patties were like shoe leather. Very Well Done. Why does DFG even offer it this way? It's contrary to its upscale food image. I will continue to dine regularly there, for both lunch and dinner, but I certainly won't order this item again.

We went for father’s day and unfortunately they had a rough night. We were seated on time, our waitress was prompt, our first round of drinks came out quickly. We put in an appetizer and then our dinner order. The app came out in a normal amount of time and was delicious. At some point our waitress let us know the kitchen was backed up. I thought probably like 20 minutes backed up, so no big deal. That was a bad guess. We were waiting and waiting for our food to come out. My youngest was really hungry so I asked our waitress if we could get an appetizer if it would be much longer. She told us she had had a table wait an hour and 20 minutes for their food. She went to check on the status of our food and came back to say they were plating it. By the time our food came, the outside section of the restaurant where we were sitting had cleared out. Then the employees getting off work started gathering there and you could tell it had been a rough night. But it kinda put me over the edge when one of the employees started listening to videos on her phone with full volume. I wanted to yell, “we are still here guys and we JUST got our food”. My caesar and salmon was good, as were my son’s ribs. My daughter had given up and left earlier. My youngest son’s filet was ordered medium rare and came out more like a medium well but he was still happy to eat it. At the end of the night the manager came over to our table to apologize. He had clearly been through the wringer. I suggested that in the future it might be helpful to send bread or an appetizer to tables when things get really backed up. He told me that we were supposed to get pretzel bread when we first sat down. That was a bummer because it definitely would have helped people’s moods while waiting. The manager discounted our meal to compensate for the long delay. Nice people, terrible operations, inconsistent kitchen.

Very disappointing experience. We waited approximately one hour 45 minutes for the main course. When it arrived, mine was cold. Others in my party reported theirs was lukewarm. We notified the manager who had a new meal prepared for me. The food itself was delicious. Service was subpar. Management did attempt to rectify the long wait time by taking the appetizer off the bill.

Our server was great, but it was clear that there was a back up and issues within the kitchen. Several tables around us waited an hour and a half for their food. The quality of food was good once it was received.

This visit was somewhat disappointing. We 'enjoyed' a very relaxed 3 hour dinner , while we not in any hurry, that seemed excessive. We had a very long wait for our entrees without any updates or explanations from our server. The food was well prepared when it finally arrived but we would charitably say that the service was inattentive.

This is the second time i dine in this restaurant. The food was tasty, reasonable price. I think it’s better than Eddie V’s.

I don’t know that I’d go back to this location. The food was good for the most part and came out fairly quickly. Asked for medium-rare on the bone-in ribeye and boneless ribeye but both were made medium-well. The marble in the steaks made up for this. The mashed, spinach cheese, and brussel sprout sides were ok. We ordered 2 bar drinks and they didn’t come out until a minute or two before the food. I thought that was weird. The server was really short with our table. Definitely had a “I don’t want to be here” attitude. He walked away as I was still saying my food order because he thought I was done. He did this again after asking how everything was. Walked away as I was mid-sentence. Odd interaction overall. Wouldn’t say he was friendly.

First visit and very happy with experience. Nice staff, quiet booth, good wine list and great food. Tuna tacos, steak salad, sautéed spinach and sweet potato fries all yummy. See you again!
