Horrible service all around - food didn't come at same time for everyone; had to ask for missed food order (truffle mac & cheese and cranberry sauce); ordered filet mignon medium but the middle part was raw - switched meal with my husband who ordered the ribeye medium rare but was medium; paying the bill took forever (more than 15 mins; enough time for my husband to go to the bathroom and back before the bill & credit card was taken). This is the 2nd time we've been at this location and both times were duds. The Boston location is much better - westwood location should take lessons from boston!

My reservation of 6 was for 8pm and was told 3 different times that it’s a 15 minute wait. It was close to 9pm when we were all finally seated. The waitress was nice and pleasant,but the place is definitely poorly run. The food was really good, but the service is definitely not.

Service was slower than normal. Waiter was good We asked several times to shut the a/c and if it was off for more than 5 minutes it was a lot. Basically we had to wear our jackets inside to eat dinner

Helped us celebrate end of cancer treatments milestone with a glass of Prosecco and sweet ending after our wonderful meal. Host and waitstaff attended to us with special attention that was greatly appreciated. A special night made better by host and server. Thank you.

The food here never disappoints. But as to the ambiance, the light level at dinner (6:30 p.m.) was not very comfortable. I had anticipated the lights would dim at some point, but that didn’t happen. No complaints otherwise.

Del Frisco's experience was disappointing. We had a party of 6 booked upfront and we had to wait before seated. Waiting time was disproportionally long, it too noisy. The quality of food was decent, but by the end they forgot about the birthday party and we had specially ask them to bring candles, which was a shame. Overall value is questionable, so I'd clearly not recommend this Del Frisco's location on Saturday evening.

Going out on Saturday night, you expect restaurants to be busy and for some hiccups in service, however the experience at Del Friscos last night was one of the worst I’ve had in terms of lack of service and poor experience for what is being charged and purportedly offered. Drink orders (plural) we’re forgotten, then when remembered/reminded, came out wrong. Food was fine, but luke warm as I expect it was sitting for some time. No plates were cleared between courses, I had to bus the table myself. Had to ask for the check three times. Manager seemed overwhelmed and staff generally appeared untrained and unable to keep up and keep things straight. Will not go back.

Andrea the server was lovely . Restaurant was not too busy . We love Del Frisco . I ordered salmon well done which is wasn’t and few other food issues . I would say this particular visit was just ok . But the staff and atmosphere is always wonderful

For a high end restaurant I was somewhat disappointed. I don’t expect to have to ask for bread, that should be a given considering the price point. It was also our anniversary, and I had let them know in advance and it was not recognised at all. Other high end steak houses have always acknowledged in some way, be it a small dessert or the table had confetti on it and the very least the waiter wishing us well. Nothing to make the evening special. The food we ordered was very good but the menu was uninspiring. I asked for regular tea at the end of the service but they only offered pretentious ones.

The filet mignon was cooked to perfection and very tender. Husband loved the creamed spinach, and I had the loaded potatoes which was delicious and super big. Our server, Jane, was very courteous and efficient.

Upon arrival we were seated fairly quickly, the lighting over the table was very bright. It took a long time to receive the alcohol beverage ordered. The restaurant was busy and they seemed to be short handed. Food was good.

Very disappointed at slow and lax service. They forgot dressing on salad which took 45 minutes to arrive on a slow day. When we asked fo the missing dressing it took another 5 minutes as the server took an order at another table before even requesting it. Never offered more ice tea. We requested a quiet booth and we’re put near a large group at a high top booth. He said it was the only place he could seat us. Hopefully an evening visit will be better.

The service was terrible and unprofessional. When we arrived, we waited at the host table for about 5-8 minutes before anyone greeted us. Once we got up the table, it took another 10 minutes before our waitress greeted us. We were not served our dinner until 45 minutes after we ordered it (only a party of 4). During that time, none of the staff communicated with us what was going on. Only after they realized or cared that we had been waiting so long for our food, did the manager come to our talk us with an excuse about having a large party to serve. No compensation was offered. This whole experience was incredibly disappointing and frustrating. We chose to eat dinner here to celebrate my son’s birthday. They knew it was his birthday. We will never go back to any location of this restaurant.

We had a reservation. The “hostess” was not expecting us nor did she seem happy to welcome us into the establishment. Although we noted on our reservation that we were celebrating an anniversary, we were seated in the bar area with the kitchen line directly behind us and a huge TV in front of us. Very noisy, not romantic at all. Additionally, our special occasion was not acknowledged once. Our server “J” was the highlight of our experience. He was has a wonderful personality and made sure we enjoyed our dinner. The filet burger was not the quality expected however the shaved steak sandwich exceeded my expectations. The starters were also delicious as were the drinks ordered. The fries were not warm unfortunately. All in all, the experience was fine. This was our first time visiting this Del Frisco’s location. It’s not where I would go for a special occasion but for a casual night out, it would be fun.

This was a very disappointing experience. There were 3 of us for dinner. We ordered a bottle of wine and the server had no idea how to open it. After playing with it for at least 5 minutes, we suggested he ask the bartender to help him, which he did. Two of us ordered appetizers which came out promptly and were very good. But they also brought out one of the sides we had ordered with our dinner. Then before we finished our appetizers, they brought out the dinners. The two steak dinners were very good and cooked perfectly. The fish dinner, Branzino, was not very good and not hot. When ordering the fish, we questioned what came with it because the menu description was unfamiliar. The waiter could not explain it. When we finished the meal and the waiter brought the check, we were charged for the sides that were supposed to come with the two steak dinners. In total frustration with the evening, I paid the bill without questioning it. Two of the three meals were good but the overall experience was so disappointing we will never return.

Our service was truly horrible. We waited over 45 minutes to receive our drinks, and this was after we had reached out to other waitstaff to check on our order because our waiter never returned to our table during that time. Our waiter had clearly forgotten to put in both our drink and dinner order. He made no apologies. Once our food finally arrived, 3 out of the 4 people at our table received their food around the same time and one person waited another 15 minutes. The manager came over to apologize and told us he would take a few items off the bill which he never did. We were late for a Patriots game so we didn't even bother staying to sort out the bill. Just FYI, we still gave a good tip, but our experience was so poor it warranted our first ever review.

If you want to go to Del Friscos, just go to either one in Boston and save your time with the Westwood location. I only decided to come to this location because I knew the parking situation was going to be easy. I’ve been to both Seaport and Prudential location’s multiple times and the Westwood location felt like I was at a TGI Fridays compared to the others. I was extremely disappointed with my lukewarm steak and sides compared to the other locations, the steak comes out sizzling on a cast iron skillet! The difference was insane. Besides the fact that there was dinners in there with flip flops on, the service itself wasn’t great. They ended up removing my steak from the bill and gave me a “free birthday dessert” which ended up being a coconut cream pie that I couldn’t eat since I’m allergic to coconut lol. All in all, I’ll stick to Boston when it comes to this place. You should too
