I arrived here on Saturday night for a 630 reservation with my boyfriend. The restaurant was so hot we could not stay for dinner. Plans ruined for a nice dinner out because a restaurant that charges good money can’t keep the place cool. Not happy.
The food was excellent. Our server was personable.
Lack of AC, noisy Bar area for afternoon seating upstairs.
Server was great! It was our anniversary and we were taken care of from a service standpiont.
We had a very nice meal. Steak came out pretty rare. Took a bit to get a replacement, but once it came out it was delicious.
Pros: The steak was fantastic, as you would expect from a Del Frisco's. The waitress was pleasant and mostly attentive except for the Charcuterie board I'll mention below.
Cons: This was my 40th Anniversary celebration dinner with my husband. I advised of that when I made the reservation. It was acknowledged at the door but that was it. Other restaurants have offered a dessert, which is nice. Ambience was very loud. I expected casual but not that loud. We ordered the Charcuterie board. When it was delivered there was no description of the cheeses, etc which is unusual for a high end restaurant. I was unpleasantly surprised when one of the cheeses was so hot that I choked. The rest of the cheese was mediocre-like grocery store cheese. For the price I would recommend going to Perrys, The Old Hickory Steakhouse or Dino's.
The food was fabulous! The steak salad was delicious. Another person had the stroganoff and raved! The steak and sides were divine! All around- satisfying meal. It’s super loud plus music piped in on top of it, so it’s not real pleasant taking to friends/family. We had great service.
Our waitress Ashley was great and so was the gentleman that helped us initially. Ashley had a very pleasant demeanor and smiled and helped us out with any questions. She even brought us a birthday treat for the guest of honor! The sunrise mojito was delicious!
I was absolutely appalled by the treatment from the hostesses (several of them). My client and I walked in for dinner on a Friday night. We did not have a reservation and I understood there may be a wait or no availability. But the attitude and rudeness from these ladies was downright shocking. What’s more is that we stepped outside to wait for a table and I checked open table and was able to book a reservation right away! We then walked back in and they sat us (giving us attitude and looks the whole time).
Our waitress was wonderful and the food was good, but I honestly couldn’t believe the initial treatment we received.
Service was was like the amateur hour, Items forgotten that were order, seven averter serval reminders. Unfortunately, it was just our server it was everyone who was attempting to server our table. For the most part the food was adequate, but hardly on par with the two other Del Frisco Grills I've eaten at.
Service was slow and the waiter didn't know the menu. Very disappointed in the overall value and experience. Scratching this one off the list for a while I'm afraid.
The food was not commensurate with the price. Saltgrass has better food for half the price. The desserts were underwhelming.
I loved my business lunch at Del Frisco's! I couldn't have asked for better. I made a reservation, got the time I wanted, and was promptly seated at a great table. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The lunch menu offered great selections, and the prices were very reasonable. I ordered the burger, and it was delicious. I also got the wedge salad as a starter, and it was very tasty, too. The tab was incredibly low for a business lunch at an upscale place. I would definitely return, and I saw more things on the menu that I really want to try! Also appreciated the plentiful free parking nearby.
Good spot for business lunch. Solid lunch menu, not too loud and good service.
Alec our server was excellent.
Our food was very hit and miss.
Shrimp appetizer was 7 rubber shrimp.
Wedge salad and soup of the day was tasty.
Chopped Sirloin was tender/flavorful. Ribeye was tough.
Vegetable were roasted which is redundant in taste.
It took 23 minutes to get a cocktail. Then the steak was undercooked and the scallops were too salty.
Not a good night.
Birthday for daughter
The restaurant was poorly managed from a management standpoint. Very short staffed. It took a while to get a drink let alone water due to the servers having to cover too many tables.
The food was the worst I’ve received when there. The steak was not cooked to order, the burger we ordered also did not come as requested and had to be sent back.
I don’t know based off this experience when I will return to that location.
Have been to the restaurant numerous times and have rarely been disappointed.
Reservation for 6 made for a special occasion. Showed up and was seated at a table for 5. Then moved to upstairs table for 6. Waiter, Brennan, was great throughout this ordeal. The rest of the experience was NOT.
Prisoner wine bottle had a rotted cork and it disintegrated into the wine itself. It was the last bottle of Prisoner they had. Chose a alternate wine.
Cocktail shrimp was not chilled, AND half of the shrimp were not deveined. Disgusting to our party. Then, after ordering our steaks, we’re informed that the kitchen had ran out of the only starch side, Mashed Potatoes. Ran out. “But we have french fries”. When we questioned this, the manager brought out a “scoop” of the potatoes to show us. Didn’t wait for steaks to be done, just walked out with a scoop in a bowl to prove. The potatoes where cold to the touch but the plate was scolding hot. (Sat under lamp). We chose to switch to French fries with our steakhouse dinner. Unreal.
Then…the steaks arrive. Medium well done was red (not pink) and cold. The medium steaks were COLD and RAW 2mm into the cut. And those fries? Cold in a bowl similar to 2 hour old McDonalds fries (May have been a disservice to McDonalds).
We called over the young female “Manager” again. She reluctantly came over and when asked if she would eat the meal, chose to walk away and into the kitchen leaving the server there to answer the questions. We let them know we aren’t a staying and want to leave. This is where it gets even worse.
Manager goes to kitchen right next to bathroom hall. Our child needs to use the restroom, so 1 of us goes with. We hear her complaining to 2 female servers who appear to argue and stand with us. When we get back to the table, Brennan was tasked with bringing us a check, not the manager. We pay for the replacement bottle of wine, and tip Brennan. On way out, manager lies about what we heard and denies escaping managerial duties. We are professionals who won’t return ever.
Everything was excellent the staff helped us change tables from what they had planned. The wait staff was very attentive. The food was excellent.
The noise level was louder than what we had hoped but is not something that would keep us from returning. We had an excellent time overal
The patio was lovely and the food was delicious
Perfect place, food n service to celebrate a friend’s BD
I ordered a bowl of the corn bisque soup and the grille salad with chicken. The bowl might as well of been a cup, barely filled and on the cool side. The salad with chicken had a vinaigrette that was bitter and the chicken tasted like it was baked in the oven with zero flavor. Disappointed since we had an out of town guest with us. She ordered the grilled shrimp which she enjoyed even though she did not clean her plate. Overall the best part of the experience was our sweet waitress Kelsey (sp?).
loud and noisy on a Wednesday night and not a good value for what we received.
Felt unwelcome. I came in with my 18 month old and 4 year old. Who behaved perfectly. It seems not a place for families
No table ready at reservation time and had to wait at the bar. Service was slow and waiter was not very attentive. Food was good.
This was our first time at Southlake's Del Frisco's and it was on a Tuesday afternoon. The food was either overcooked or bland. We ordered a variety of dishes to sample the restaurants offerings and was truly disappointed. Perhaps it was the shortage of foods as was explained to us or hopefully just an off day. For the price and the limited freedom we have as new parents, we most likely will not try them again.
We had a great server named Michaela, she was informative, quick and friendly! We were seated right away and enjoyed a great meal.
Service was excellent. Love the food but would like more choices in the brunch menu. Other than that it was a wonderful experience.
The bartender, Desiree, went out of her way to tell us about allocated bourbon they just got in. Made my birthday celebration extra special to try bourbon we had not heard of.
My husband got a $46 meal. The entire portion was small enough to fit in his hand for a steak and salmon. My meal stated it came with a side yet I was charged full price for it. Not worth the $100 bill as far as we were concerned.
A really nice place for a business lunch with terrific food, very attentive service, and a lively atmosphere but quiet enough for good conversation.
This was our first visit to Del Frisco’s. I understood it to be a more causal streak house atmosphere so maybe my expectations were not appropriate. I found the menu (food & cocktail) to be limited and a bit pricey for what it was. The seafood was nice but the steak did not meet my expectations. The wait staff was really good and worked hard to make the meal enjoyable.
We like it, don't love the food. For the price, the food is always disappointing here. We got the steakhouse salad and the market catch of the day. Very salty and greasy on all dishes. Noise level was higher than normal. We had to shout to hear each other.
We loved Brittany l!!! She made all of our birthdays special!!! Food was fantastic as usual ❤️
Great food and service. We enjoyed a fantastic meal with close friends.
Cheeseburger was way over done. Value for a burger was not worth it
A bit understaffed resulting in slow service-but they were open on a holiday!
We went for a birthday lunch for my 85 year old mother in law. All three of us had the steak salad. We sat in the upstairs outside room. It was a lovely experience
Food is dependably high quality. Sea Bass special on this date, with asparagus, tomatoes & red pepper sauce was excellent. Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
