Sweet16 birthday dinner for my daughter. They had a blast!
The food was absolutely amazing. We went here for the Dine L.A. menu and it was absolutely incredible. Chase was our server and he was great. The Nutella bread pudding is the best thing ever created and the pork shank was heaven. Eat Here! Eat here all the time! All the food!
Although I've been to this restaurant several times, I took advantage of Dine N LA and it was delicious - good deal. I decided to get the salmon and parmesan broccolini - DELICIOUS! I even took the Santa Monica shuttle to get there. Very cool. They've never disappointed me.
Had a great experience at Del Frisco's! The appetizers were great, especially the fish tacos, after which we became too full to fully enjoy the main course. Food was overall really good. We sat outside which was warm next to the heater and it was pretty quiet. Inside is loud but lively.
I went for Sunday Brunch. The food was absolutely delicious! I’d definitely recommend the chicken and waffles! I also received a free lemon cake for my birthday which was a nice touch!
Excellent waiter. Wait staff is so friendly and accommodating. Food is reliable and tasty. Good menu for all types of eaters, whether you are vegan or paleo or somewhere in between.
Only issue is that the restaurant was taken over by a party last night and we had to sit in the front patio area. Even with space heaters, it was freezing.
By far one of the most amazing experiences by far. My waiter chase was awesome. And chef Rudy blew my mind. Will be visiting this s specific location more often. And defenetly sharing with friends.
Love the consistency of excellent food and their friendly and comfortable ambience! Coulter is an excellent server and Som!!!
An extremely disappointing experience. The food was good, especially the short rib stroganoff and coconut cream pie—and both were huge portions.
The server was nice but largely absent. After she dropped the check, she disappeared for 20 minutes. This was especially annoying because I was overcharged by $95 on a bottle of wine. The wine list said $65 but it was $160 on the bill!
After the she finally came out and I showed her the error, it seemed like a long time before I finally got the corrected bill.
A $95 overcharge is a pretty egregious error. I expected the manager to at least pick up the dessert, but nothing. Or at the risk very least an apology from a manager would have been the minimum. Instead, the server said sorry but it was incorrect in the computer. I wonder if other people had been over charged but didn’t notice it.
In fact, I never saw a manager during the entire meal.
Unfortunately, I do NOT recommend the Del Frisco’s in Santa Monica. An establishment this expensive (even after the wine charge was corrected, the bill still came to $151) should have far better service and more accurate billing
Del Frisco's never disappoint. The food is always amazing as is the service. We took advantage of Dine N LA and visited during that time. It was a good meal at a good price. I look forward to going again!
Food was well prepared and presented. Started off with steak egg rolls and wings. Accompanying sauces really accented the apps. Fish tacos (3 per order) were very good with a good balance of soft flour exterior and crunchy texture fillings. The shaved steak sandwich was awesome. Huge portion of steak served on a nice french roll with au jus. Think french dip but double the serving of steak. Wait staff was very attentive and drinks were spot on. Definitely a "return to" for me!
Food was great. Service that night was even better than the food. Filet was excellent. Drinks were perfect. Pricey for what I’m used too, but I’m sure comparable to others in that area.
Very Disappointed. Waiters seemed distracted and unaware of which table they had. The restaurant had cold air blowing and it was about 60 degrees out side. Should have brought the heaters in...... Food was average at best. Expected more..... We sat in a booth and witness a drug deal on the side walk outside...
It is very difficult trying to get to the valet parking especially coming from the California incline. Traffic is terrible on Friday/Saturday night. It has a nice ambiance especially for a Friday/Saturday night. The food was average.
We had a reservation for 6:30. We got there a little early so they had us wait at the bar. At around 6:45 we still hadn't been seated. After asking a few times when we would be seated they finally found us a table. We noticed that people who had reservation times after us were already seated. Once seated no one took our drink order. We had to flag someone down about 5 minutes later. We still aren't certain who our server was because every time we needed something we had to flag someone down. The food was ok, nothing special. I definitely wouldn't recommend. For the prices you would expect better service. It had a chaotic feel the whole time.
