My wife and I had a wonderful meal. We were celebrating her birthday. I had the NY strip which was cooked perfectly and the flavor was wonderful. My wife had the Filet which she also loves. The coconut cream pie was delicious. Also our server Krystal was very nice. She was attentive through out our visit. We can't wait to go back.
Brunch was very good: food and service. The loud music was a distraction and detracted from our experience. Lower key music would be a better fit for a relaxed brunch. Hostess did her best to find me a quiet table as requested.
Katie (server) is excellent! She is very attentive!
Took my son for his 18th birthday. Horrible experience, our main courses came out and when my husband told waitress plate was ice cold with his steak and it was cold, she argued with him. Everything was cold- what a disappontment for this special occassion. Manager gave us 50% off our bill, seriously for a cold meal.
Both my husband and I throughly enjoyed our dining experience here
The food was mediocre at best. The artichoke beignets had no relation to beignets, and they were bitter. The deviled eggs were old & rubbery. The wedge salad was so overdressed, I couldn't taste the lettuce. The waitress was lovely, and did her best. However, the drinks took forever. I will not be returning.
Delicious food, but really noisy!
Service was very very slow. We arrived at 5:55 and alerted our server we had ballet tickets for 730 show across the street. He stated we had plenty of time. 30 minutes to come back with our beverages, apps arrived at 630 and dinner at 705. Needless to say we had to woof down dinner and run out. Not enjoyable in that respect but the food is delicious but pricey.
Very good overall experience . Lighting over booths a little too bright .
Fantastic from the moment we walked in. Great food and service. Energetic atmosphere.
Went for my fiancé’s 30th birthday. The food was delicious. I really enjoyed the butternut squash soup— I believe it was just a Fall selection.
Our waitress was very nice and patient... it took us a while to decide on our meals.
Food was excellent - especially the Crab cake appetizer & the roasted Cauliflower w/Sweet Potato fries.
Ambiance (at least upstairs) was suitable for a 'date-night' outing, or a friends 'catching-up' get together.
[Downstairs maybe not so much - the bar scene looked crowded & seemed a bit noisy.]
Service was good but a little uneven - quick on somethings, slower on others.
The location can't be beat, whether you're new to the City or you are going to an arts performance at the Academy, Merriam, Kimmel or Wilma.
Food was great. Kitchen is always consistent and quick. Server moved at a snails pace. Chatted up other table of diners that she clearly was familiar with and dragged feet with our table. Overall great experience.
Birthday dinner everything was awesome
At 5:15 on Saturday they were out of prime rib? The “bone in filet” was more Bone than filet. The wine list is significantly over priced.
It was ok, I probably wouldn't go back I didn't really enjoy my food or the restaurant.
I had the scallops. They were cooked to death. Worst combination of flavors I’ve ever experienced. It’s like the chef never tasted his own food. Extremely disappointing for the price. I’ll never go back. Staff stood around near the kitchen talking and joking-ignoring their tables but at least our waitress was attentive.
I went for lunch during Restaurant week. More laid back then original Del Frisco's.
I would recommend Del Frisco's to anyone, with one caveat. It is loud, really loud. I get it is a bar with wonderful drinks and great bartenders, but if you are dining you want to be able to hear the person across the table from you.
The food was delicious and the cocktails were great! The service was one of the best I have experienced in awhile! My server was so pleasant and attentive, I even received a thank you card from him personally! What a fantastic personal touch, I definitely feel appreciated as a customer and that is even more important than how great the food was!!!
The service was very lacking. We had to ask someone to take our drink order after sitting there a long while, and it wasn't crowded at all. The apps were delicious, the hamburger on the rest. week special was very dry. Should have had one single patty instead of two skinny dried out pieces. Drinks were good.
Met former co- workers for lunch. It has a very open feel because of the glass front, although we were seated way in the back. At first I was disappointed but it was quiet enough for us to have a pleasant conversation. We did not know it was Restaurant Week, but for $20 a two-course lunch. Everyone had something different and all plates were delicious; however I have to say I’m sorry I didn’t order the hamburger and Parmesan fries! Next time.
Our server needs some training, and the music got louder as the evening wore on.
Great Food and Outstanding Service. We stopped in during restaurant week. Although it was extremely busy the service was top notch. The food came out quickly and the server continually checked in on us. The restaurant is pricey but you get what you pay for and more.
Excellent choice for a theater night. Would highly recommend
Nothings special in terms of food or drinks. Service good. Way over priced.
Our wait person was the highlight of our dinner. Her name was Samantha, I think and she was smart, funny, excellent at her job and made our experience even better. You should take good care of her.
It was my son’s birthday and we chose DelFrisco. From the greeting when we walked in u til the end of the meal our experience was amazing. Our waitress was Jessica and she get 10 stars. First her greeting was as if we were family she hadn’t seen in awhile. When i reserved my table I saw what i thought was the restaurant week menu in the Open Table App but it was not. Placing my order Jessica immediately asked if we were interested in seeing the Restaurant week menu because we were choosing from the Fall Menu, she immediately retrieved the correct menu and took our orders. What made Jessica further win my heart was she heard me say it was my Babyboy birthday so she chatted a few about that even sharing her own birthday was coming up as well. Through out our meal i watched her give several table this same personalized treatment while frequently checking on us. Our food was cooked to perfection. My son is the steak eater and from his first bite until the last he expressed how perfectly cooked and tender the steak was. He had mashed potatoes and said he almost thought he was eating mine.❤️. The final thing Miss Jessica did to further make our experience superb was after serving our final course dessert. She waited u til we took our first bite and my son distracted and brought a candle lit expressing happy birthday to my son. That made my son feel even more special and to echo his sentiments “ now that is a person who not only love their job but does it with excellence”
Way too loud!
Wonderful meal.... only two critiques
When the kitchen tells the sever there are no substitutions, changing of a salad dressing should be allowed. We were told that the kitchen would not allow that on the restaurant week menu. Really?
20 minutes for desserts to come to the table was a bit too long.
It was a great experience. The food is beyond excellent, my husband had the filet mignon and I had the brick chicken. Everything was seasoned to perfection and the service was the absolute best. I would recommend to everyone.
I have to say that I love this restaurant and was very disappointed with the experience during restaurant week. 1.) Our order was a little off. 2.) the filets were completely over -seasoned (and in one case over cooked) and were salty to the point of inedibility 3.) We waited 20 mins to received our desserts..which was quite odd because everything else came out very quickly.
I love restaurant week. It is a great way to get an amazing meal for a reasonable price. This one; however, missed the mark. Disappointing!
Food was cold and my steak..med. rare tough. Asked 3 times for sweetener prior to receiving. Otherz came in after us and received there appetizers prior to us
If you are craving steak this restaurant is for you! Delicious meal in loud but chic ambience.
The food was nothing to brag about for the price!
Delfrisco’s grille is not Delfrisco’s! Some people are referring to this restaurant as Delfrisco’s, it is nothing like it! And shame on them for calling it Delfrisco’s grille. I booked what I thought was the original Delfrisco’s not knowing there was now another restaurant called the same thing. It totally ruined my son’s 16th birthday dinner. This restaurant is so the opposite of Delfrisco’s “ double eagle” ( now what they call the original! This restaurant is loud, service is rushed and food is not as good. It is a trendy, young, atmosphere. More of a happy hour kind of restaurant .
Again not at all what we were hoping for in the evening. Change the name! It’s deceitful I will never return to either one! Wasted my time and ruined a special occasion
Experience was ok. But as a frequent de Frisco steakhouse customer...it doesn't compare.
Great as always.
We eat at the double eagle a few times a year and wanted to try the grill. The place is nice but loud, service was attentive but food was very salty. I wouldn’t return to the grill rather spend the same money at the double eagle.
We came here for Restaurant’s Week and date night. This was our first time here and the experience was great.
