Del Frisco's Grille - Philadelphia
Went for a Valentine’s date and the food was amazing. Our waitress was fun and energetic and made great recommendations for wine and appetizers. Would definitely come back here again.
Samantha was an excellent server.
The service was the better part of the evening. Although they try to push you to get more drinks. The food wasn’t the best. Very odd things, so unless you like to try odd offerings and sides, I do not recommend.
Love the location. Menu had a nice selection. Cocktail menu a little weak. Great bar scene.
Great times! However, option to transfer drink tab to table should be made available.
The restaurant was extremely loud. The only soup on the menu was poorly executed. Mashed potatoes were strange in taste and consistency, and the beet and goat cheese side was awful. Prices were high, but I guess that is to be expected in an expensive location on South Broad Street. The bright spot was our server, who was attentive and efficient. I might go back for drinks, but that's it.
Excellent experience. Great location after theatre Been there 4 times and our guests have enjoyed it very much. Bar service very good. Brittany took great care of us.
Love this place
Service was very poor. One guest served 10 minutes after everyone else without salad dressing for his steak salad. Then had to flag down a waiter. Water glasses were not refilled. We felt ignored
We went to Del Frisco Grille before seeing Shen Yun @ Merriam theater. I was confused when I booked- thought it was the Del Frisco steak house! The Grille is fresh/modern and very bright. We enjoyed our Sunday brunch, and loved that either brunch or lunch menu could be used. Started with cheesesteak egg rolls, which were tasty. I ordered the “Share”, which included 2 fish tacos and a cup of corn chowder. The flavors were bright and the presentation was lovely. Overall very nice experience and I would HIGHLY recommend it before seeing a show/theater/symphony.
We recently went because we had reservations for double eagle but found out they had a bad inspection so i cancelled and booked with the grille. Let’s just say i will not be going back at night maybe for lunch but it was way too loud i could barely hear the person next to me. They sat us in a high traffic area and there was a table of 10-14 that were soooooo loud i wanted to leave. It ruin the night for me. The food was ok but they don’t have some of the items on the menu that Double eagle had. I had been to the grille in Hoboken and it was a lot better so i thought it would be in philly wrong. So disappointed
Really cool vibe, liked the bar area a lot. Food was solid, very similar to the Steak House of the same brand.
Busy and noisy. Food service was very good. Bar service was a bit slow due to large crowd.
Great service and lively setting. We’ll definitely go back
One of the noisiest restaurants in which I've eaten. Prime rib was very fatty and thin. Service was very good though. Bread was not served. Maybe this is policy or maybe forgotten? From my experience that night I would not recommend this restaurant.
The restaurant is well run and professional. The food and service is fine. None of these can overcome the horrendous noise level.
Management was accommodating in changing our table in order to try to avoid the noise. It seems that there is no place in the restaurant where a normal conversation can take place.
All this is sad because South Broad Street can use a place with the other qualities of Del Frisco Grille.
Entire staff at Del Frisco’s Grille was very welcoming and most attentive, especially our server Sam and the manager, Leo. Great service and delicious dinners. We’ll be back soon!
Recommended with reservations. The limited menu had several delicious choices: the baked goat cheese with figs and pomagranite seeds was extraordinary; the southwest egg rolls were a good exampke of the dish; the chicken under a brick was moist with crisp skin and wellseasoed, far better than your normal roast chicken. However, there is a question of value, $35 for six small scallops on a bed of polenta, $30 for a six ounce pour of a very goid, but not extraordinary wine. There are no reasonably priced wines by the glass and few by the bottle.
The loud soundtrack is offputting.
I have been to Del Frisco's Grill three times and had a great experience each time. I would highly recommend for celebrations, business meeting, etc.
I believe our server's name was Lindsay - she said she had just started and moved from New Mexico. The food and atmosphere were great. I'll be back.
Wonderful ambiance for celebrating and catching up with friends.
Food and cocktails were delicious. Our server was friendly and very accommodating.
Phenomenal food and a unique atmosphere.
We celebrated my dads 70th before seeing a show at the Met. Great time, great food and atmosphere too.
I thought I had reserved the original steakhouse but was told when we got there that we were actually at the grill. Food and service were good but the noise level was somewhat annoying but overall we salvaged the night and enjoyed our time there
My waitress was very good but wasn't knowledgeable about the menu wanted a bone-in ribeye steaks came out was not bone in ribeye my wife ordered the burger that came out wrong 3 times when they brought out the bill they actually charged her twice for the burger that they did wrong
BEEF WAS EXCELLENT. BUT THE STEAK SALAD WAS OVERDRESSED!
Everything was perfect before our concert.
New restaurant in theater district, with a vibrant atmosphere. I was impressed when I walked in, but was then disappointed as we were escorted to a small closed off room with 8 tables in the back. I was looking forward to this dinner, but sitting in an enclosed room put a damper on things, especially when we had a reservation and saw plenty of empty tables in the main dining room area. Otherwise dinner was excellent and service attentive. Starters of cheesesteak egg rolls and a wedge salad were very good. Our two steak dinners were top notch cuts and cooked to perfection, and a bargain with sides included (which you will not get at the big sister restaurant around the corner) of roasted beets with goat cheese and sweet potato fries. Dessert of coconut cream pie and coffee finished off the meal, which was more than enough to share and bring a large portion home. Overall, it was a great dinner. I know we will be back since we frequent events at the Kimmel Center and the Academy of Music, but will definitely request to be seated in the main dining room or bar area. I just felt that we missed out on the fun edge and people watching that this place has to offer.
Had better burgers in the city, wings were not great. Old Fashioned was just okay. Expected more from here especially for the price tag. Service was great !
Cute but a bit overpriced as I’d expect the grille to be less expensive than double eagle
I had a steakhouse salad for 24 it was tiny
Restaurant is cold. Salad is extremely heavy. Covered in cheese and a thick dressing. Wings were warm. Waited 15 mins for coffee. Service was poor even though restaurant wasn’t crowded. I’ve been here twice now and really want it to be my go-to lunch spot (I love the DFG in Atlanta) but so far I’ve been very disappointed.
Wanted to try this place out. For the money, which wasn’t any cheaper than Del Frisco’s Steakhouse, it wasn’t worth it. The service seemed like they wanted us in and out. The food wasn’t even close to their steakhouse. Don’t think we will be going back.
Went after the theater with our young daughter. Good food, good for kids, good service. Overall good choice and experience. Plan to go again.
Let me start by saying it was my first time visiting Del Frisco’s Grille. The ambiance and service was amazing however, the food was poor. I went for brunch and I had to send my waffles back twice. It was ice cold. I was expecting so much more
Good food and great atmosphere . Our server was phenomenal. Her name is Lindsay ask for her, she's great. Beautiful setting, a little gem on busy Broad St.
Great food and service! Loved the atmosphere too!
I much prefer the Double Eagle location around the corner. Its stunning & they are so close in price.
We had a great experience for dinner on Saturday night. We ordered the Cheese steak egg rolls for our app, burgers, sandwiches and scallop dinner for our mains. All were delicious and the service was fast and on the ball.
Food and service were excellent. Very loud and difficult to carry a conversation. We were seeing a show at the Kimmel Center, so the location was great.
