Sam was our server an
We had the 24 oz. Porterhouse for 2. It was cooked to perfection. The wine list was reasonable and the service was attentive. Some bemoan the fact that it is part of a chain, but to me that didn’t make it any less than fantastic.
Up beat place great spot for dinner
Good service, Steaks were about average, nothing special.
Met for a work lunch and had a great time. We both had the Ahi tuna salad, which was delicious.
My wife and I went on our first trip to NYC. We had a blast and Del Frisco's Grille enhanced our experience. The waiter was fantastic! He took care of all our needs and was very friendly.
Steak was salty, Mac n cheese ha no flavor. Crab cake was okay but you could taste the breading in between. For $20, I expect a crab cake that’s full of crab! Server Becky was good.
The nearby outlet is better. Wine recommendation was excellent.
Came here before a concert at Radio City and it did not disappoint. From the Hostesses who understood that NYC traffic can be a pain and I would be slightly late for my reservation. To quick seating and a very attentive wait staff. Food was delicious. I will definitely be going back again
Visited with a friend for drinks and casual diner. Excellent food and services as usual for Del Frisco's. Much more casual menu than Double Eagle location, but still top quality.
As always terrific, food, service. The only thing needing attention were the bathrooms.
Mucho ruido, la comida buena precio excesivo..
Excellent food, service, and setting. We arrived 30 minutes early and were still seated right away.
The other one is better.
Very poor. Filet mignon steaks were overcooked and burned.
Go to Mastro's Steakhouse or the Capital Grille both of which were much better.
Food was fair. Good location. Found it to be overpriced...
Great food and.service for the price. Will def be back
To set the tone, my wife and I were celebrating an anniversary dinner and concert "date night". We hesitate to use that word because our past experiences elsewhere have been very disastrous. We now know we need to say Dinner and a Show to each other and make sure we book with Del Frisco's Grille. I used OpenTable and made note that it was our 3 year anniversary celebration night. We had tickets to Leon Bridges at RC; singer of our wedding song. I also asked for a quiet location...
With so few words typed, the staff at Del Frisco's hit every note... They presented us with a hand signed card from the staff and during our dining our waitress congratulated us with complimentary champagne. The atmosphere was perfect, right near the wine selection, quiet as requested. We have renewed our faith in having a great night, with great service and absolutely amazing food. We started with Sicilian Margarita (wife) and a perfect Old Fashioned.
It was really hard to choose from the menu. We chose Artichoke Beignets & Thai Calamari (sautéed cherry peppers compliment them amazingly) as appetizers. Truffle Mac & Cheese (don't get me started how delish, all are family style), Scallops on Polenta with heirloom grape tomatoes was my wife's choice. A Flintstone Brontosaurus sized Prime Rib was mine. Everything was to cooked to perfection. There is not one complaint.
The bonus. I informed our waitress, (I am so sorry we forget her name), that we were attending a show at Radio City. Could she please pack the leftovers in the smallest packing possible? Making no worry about what it looks like. The care they took putting it in a small sized container with Ziploc closed leftovers nicely packed, it was the best "doggie bag" I ever got! I tip my hat to you all! Thank you for making our night special. We will see you next year! Same Bat time, same Bat place! ;) 2 big Viking thumbs up. We left extremely satisfied and happy.
Had our reservation, tables were comfortable, staff very pleasant. Food was excellent, nice portions. They served us in a timely fashion so we could make our show! Would definitely go back!
We took our 12-year-old for his birthday before going to a show. Perfect location, having just left the Nintendo and LEGO stores. He raved about the cheesesteak egg rolls and the burger. I loved the Spanish G&T. Casual enough for kids but great drinks and food for mom and dad too
Great waitress, consistent go to product at DF Grille, tends to outshine its more formal sibling DFDE.
The food here is exceptional and the service was some of the best in NYC. Not just out waitress but the entire staff was there to assist. It was very loud for a Thursday night dinner.
fantastic food and service. they gave us a nice quiet table in back which was perfect.
Busy for lunch. Staff is nice. I would like to come back for drinks.
Steaks were amazing as always! Best steaks in New York!!!
Fast, excellent food- very professional staff and quick to be seated
If you like fast food and want a steakhouse that mimics those ideals then this is your place. The bartender seemed nice but he put in the wrong steak and brought the Oscar deconstructed on the side for the second when we asked for no asparagus in it. The food came out really fast which leads me to believe that they prepackage or precook most of their items. The food wasn’t completely terrible but underwhelming for sure. I highly doubt I’ll ever come back in the future. I generally don’t write reviews and believe everyone has an off day and maybe I just came on an off day.
Amazing as always! Food and drink were great and the staff is outstanding. Planning a return trip real soon.
I have been there 3 times now. Love the service especially. Our waitress Samantha was so sweet and excellent.
Nice atmosphere but rude front desk. Don’t expect to be welcomed warmly.
I was disappointed overall. The food was lack lustre, very loud and no ambience. It’s basically a chain restaurant feel.
The sides were pricey but not so good
Food was not up to par as usual. Too garlicky, steak was very fatty
I enjoy Del Frisco Grill. Food is good, service is exceptional and the location is great. I just wish it were not so expensive. But, if you are eating in Manhattan, you are probably not eating on the cheap. Inside can be very noisy, so avoid it if you are looking for a quiet, intimate meal or have a client who is hard to hear or understand. This is unless you can score a table outside. It is a fabulous alternative. You sit on Rockefeller Plaza, being closed to traffic, is actually quite peaceful. Given these caveats, you will always get a good meal and I can certainly recommend Del Frisco Grill (get a table outside).
Great service mediocre food! I went to Del Frisco’s Grille based on a recommendation from a trusted source. I enjoyed the casual atmosphere but the food was sub par every dish was lukewarm including the fries which we sent back and they came back 5 degrees warmer. For $250 (for 2 people) I expected much more. The decor was old and worn out. The leather booths cushions could be seen because it was torn. Frankly I was embarrassed because I was there for a special occasion. I will not return to the Rockefeller Plaza location if anything I would try the Eagle never the grille.
Laurel our waitress was amazing. She was to navigate the menu along with great drink selections. She was attentive but not aggressive she was very helpful and knowledgeable about the experience.
The food was very delicious but way too salty. It came quickly which we were thrilled about. We were seeing a concert right near the restaurant.
Convenient to Radio City. We didn't go here for the food, which is just OK. Conversation is impossible given the noise level. This appears to be the place to be for drinks after work. We won't be back.
